05/02/2006 Entry: "Ecto Cooler Returns...AGAIN!"

Recapping: X-Entertainment loves Ecto-Cooler. A lot of people loved Ecto-Cooler. A lot of people cried green when they took Ecto-Cooler away; a terrible moment made all the more heart wrenching because even though Slimer and pals were cold as fuck by the mid '90s, Ecto-Cooler still prevailed. This lulled us into a happy sense of false security. Hi-C eventually replaced Slimer with various box-art imagery (sometimes symbols, sometimes moo cows), but when push came to shove and Hi-C had to look themselves in a mirror, they could no longer justify what was a cartoon tie-in for a cartoon that was by then almost a decade old and out of production. Ecto-Cooler went buhbye, and with it, a little piece of us.

And then, years later, Ecto Cooler came back to us. As detailed in X-E's Ecto Cooler Bible, Hi-C was using the exact same ingredients and formula in their Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen flavor, which tasted, smelled and looked just like Ecto Cooler. (Juiceboxes for both shared identical ingredients list, too.) During Tangergreen's reign, Hi-C slowly phased out the dyes from their juice box offerings, meaning that while the original Tangergreen bore the familiar green sheen of Ecto Cooler, later versions only smelled and tasted the same. It was a minor defeat, but barely a blip on the radar when contrasted with the holy idea that we could still drink Ecto Cooler.

Eventually, Tangergreen followed its master's footsteps and died off, leaving the world without ANY VIABLE SIMILE of Ecto Cooler. Still sporadically found at select retailers who don't give a shit about expiration dates, it's just as true that, eventually, there will be no Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen left in the world outside of the 84 12-packs I bought when I first heard about the Ecto Connection. Fortunately, none of this matters.

As several readers have e-mailed me all giddy about, Hi-C's continued faith in the little drink that could has once again been proven with the addition of their brand new flavor, "Crazy Citrus Cooler." It's the exact same formula as Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen. You know what that means, right? It's Ecto Cooler! Ecto Cooler lives!

Current Mood: Happy and slimy.

Ecto Cooler! I remember drinking this like a mofo. razz

Awesome! I still cherish seeing the holy word "Ecto" on my grocery store receipt after buying Tangergreen based on your original article. Guess I've gotta make another trip to the grocery store tomorrow.

Chestnuts roasted by Gozer @ 05/03/2006 12:01 AM EST

Sweet! I know what I'll be looking for at the store tomorrow. Events like this are the only reason I'm glad to be living in a large city. Someone is bound to have it. Does CCC have a color? The packaging doesn't have that obnoxious "DOESN"T STAIN" message on it.

Chestnuts roasted by Eddie Lightning Frog @ 05/03/2006 12:03 AM EST

I know, and that made me hopeful, but it doesn't have the green color. sad

Also, I did self checkout -- dunno if it makes a different on the receipts, but mine didn't say "Ecto." Some readers said that they got the happy word on their receipts, so good luck!

Yah know, its sad that it makes me sad when I missed out on a possible great childhood memory, I dont think I have ever had any type drink with the Hi-C name...dont mind me I just wanted to post something cause Im a loser thats bored and alone, Im going to b-e-d!

Great news. I could never find any Tangergreen at all. I had to settle for its slow cousin: Orange Lavaburst.

Chestnuts roasted by RewolfJ @ 05/03/2006 12:26 AM EST

Cool. I could never find any of the Tangergreen either and refused to settle for anything but. Maybe I'll have better luck finding this one.

I hate to say it but ... I didn't really like Ecto Cooler. *shifty eyes* I think it was one of those drinks that was ok as long as you kept drinking it, but once you stopped - slightly icky aftertaste. But honestly, I was never a fan of Hi-C anyhow. The fruit punch tasted like puke to me. sad

I did the same, but those days are over...we have prevailed!

When will Hi-C stop yanking people around by renaming Ecto Cooler? What purpose does it serve, other than alienating its customer base?

Chestnuts roasted by Mike P @ 05/03/2006 01:11 AM EST

LOL at Gozer making one of the first posts. I'm beginning to think he deliberately avoided the talkback for Stay-Puft because he remembered the way he was treated in the film and didn't like it.

No download for the Ecto-Cooler ad? Matt just proved he has it, and that he hooked it up to the compy....

Chestnuts roasted by Mars @ 05/03/2006 01:42 AM EST

I really like how Ecto Green's newest incarnation's name in no way has anything to do with the color green, but still has those lovely green swirls letting us know of the ambrosia awaiting us. This blog added a bright spot to finals week. Thanks, Matt!

I miss the days when you got a perfect 8.45 oz instead of an unsatisfying 6.75 oz. Also that little slimer needs to replace chucky.

Chestnuts roasted by dohopoki @ 05/03/2006 06:11 AM EST

I don't understand. Why is Hi-C trying to give us the impression that they always have new products? I couldn't stand any flavor of Hi-C but Ecto Cooler when I was a kid, because I've always hated juice and I just hit the tail end of the with-Slimer-on-it-craze, which was almost worthwhile. I never see anyone drinking Hi-C in flavors other than Fruit Punch and Pink Lemonade... And Shoutin Orange Tangergreen when it was discovered that it was just Ecto Cooler.

It's a world of constant disappointment.

My prayers have been answered.

Ryane: Well then, the answer is obvious. You never stop drinking it. Ever.

I don't know why, but the only Hi-C we ever got when I was younger was Ecto Cooler. That or we'd get the Minute Maid juice boxes. Do you have to go to a store that is old enough to have carried Ecto Cooler to get it on the reciept? Maybe the newer grocers will not have it on the receipts. If so I will have to take a car trip this afternoon. For juice.

Chestnuts roasted by kb @ 05/03/2006 08:49 AM EST

Holy crap! This is great news. I remember the whole controversy about this a couple years ago. I could never find 'Tangergreen' at grocery stores around me. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up some 'Crazy Citrus Cooler'. I remember getting an ecto cooler juicebox with my lunch everyday in 3rd grade.

To those wondering about why they're so name-change-happy, I've got no good reason for changing "Tangergreen" to "Crazy Citrus Cooler," but I'd assume that in the case of the "Ecto" name, it's probably copyrighted by Columbia Pictures and keeping the name around would mean paying for a license fee. And like Matt says, why bother paying a licensing charge for a name that Hi-C's target audience will have no connection to anyway. I have always wondered whether or not sales of Tangergreen shot up once word was out about it being EC though, and if there were puzzles Hi-C execs trying to figure out why. But then, considering the name change, I guess sales probably didn't shoot up too much.

Spoodles - I too await the return of ALF. Why the hell hasn't Nick-at-Nite or someone picked this thing up? With all the "80s nostalgia" kick they've been on lately, you'd think there'd be no better candidate than ALF.

For awhile Shaw's was selling "Lizardy Cooler" which was the Shaw's version of Ecto. Man, that stuff got me through college.

OMG I love the LiveJournalesque mood icon! That should be a permanent addition.
I don't understand the point of the name changes. Dropping the Ecto makes sense, and I guess it's logical that a drink that isn't green shouldn't be called Tangergreen, but I still think it's stupid.

Chestnuts roasted by squee4242 @ 05/03/2006 10:19 AM EST

lugnutz I'll give Limewire a trie. WinMx worked great for me for years, and I'm mostly looking for music more than anything else.

Norbert You should definately pickup the Takara reissue Soundwave or Sound Blaster. May not be original G1, but they're just as great. Although, they may be a little pricier to find than when they were first released and harder to find.

Man, I loved Ecto Cooler. I need to buy me a case of this stuff and drink it with some Belvedere....

I'll definitely have to check this out...

Down here in suburban Philadelphia, there is a Shop Rite (in Eddystone, Delaware County) that sells Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen...complete with "Ecto Cooler" on the receipts.

Creepy that this gets posted now...we had just bought some of the sacred juice this past weekend before a screening of "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" at my house. Good times.

I'm a bit confused, Matt. You seem to have had an affinity for Ecto Cooler for a long time, yet this is what you said about it in your Fruity Bubble-Gum Hi-C article:

"While Ecto-Cooler was certifiably disgusting, they could get away with it since they had Slimer on the packaging."

Guh? Did you used to hate it, and only develop a taste for it later on or what?

Chestnuts roasted by A-wel Cruiz @ 05/03/2006 12:51 PM EST

I have to be honest, I was never a big fan of Ecto Cooler as a drink. There was some mish mash of flavors that just didn't sit right with me.

Incredibly, this did not stop me from buying it time and again simply because Slimer was on the package.

Chestnuts roasted by Wukong @ 05/03/2006 12:55 PM EST

A-Wel, that's an old article, meaning I couldn't describe anything without saying that it sucked.

Still, Ecto/Tanger/Citrus is more an idea than a flavor for me. I drink it for the same reason I'll eat a MoonPie or sometimes choose Parmesan Goldfish over the obviously more awesome Cheddar. If that makes sense.

*Spoodles*: GOAT stands for: Greatest Of All Time. Ecto Cooler is just that.

I remember drinking Ecto Cooler as a kid. It was one of the few "junk foods" my mom would buy for me. I was practically the only kid at school who brought lunch from home, and I used to be jealous when my friends would sit down with their multi-compartmented trays filled with indistinguishable foodstuffs, but oh how the tables were turned when I would pull an Ecto Cooler out of my Barbie and the Rockers lunchbox.

This is excellent news, now if they'd just make Amazing Fruit bears available again my childhood lunches would be complete.

Chestnuts roasted by Glitter Godzilla @ 05/03/2006 02:02 PM EST

I guess I was a little too old by the time the Amazing Fruit bears crawled out of their forest to be seen carrying them around at school, and I'm not entirely sure I ever even had the things. I pretty much don't remember taking my lunch at all once junior high hit, though it was an everyday thing in elementary school.

The thing I need to make childhood lunch complete is those damn Garfield fruit snacks Matt covered once. I don't know if it's matured tastebuds, burned and dead tastebuds from smoking, or if the recipe changed somewhere over the years but I swear all those fruit snack things aren't half as good as they used to be. And Garfield's was the best of 'em all.

Chestnuts roasted by kingklash @ 05/03/2006 03:15 PM EST

Oh man, Garfield fruit snacks. That takes me back. My mom rarely bought stuff like that, but my best friend always had them. I ALWAYS had trouble opening them and when I would finally get them open the precious little package burst forth fruit snacks all over the floor. Of course, as a 7 year old germophobe, I wouldn't eat anything off the floor so my friend, so graciously, would pick mine up and trade hers with me. I will always love her if only for that reason.

"I miss the days when you got a perfect 8.45 oz instead of an unsatisfying 6.75 oz. Also that little slimer needs to replace chucky."

I agree, dohopoki. The switch in Hi-C from the real fruit photographs to the ugly yellow boxes was already a turn off for me. But then they reduced the portions to just a few unsatisfying gulps! Since they charged the same price, my dad didn't want to buy them anymore, and that was the end of my juice box days. For a while I went with Capri-Sun, but the slick metallic sheen and surfboarders just doesn't have the same charm.

Does anyone know the years they changed the box and reduced the portions? I would like to regard them as points of death for my childhood.

Oddly enough, Mike F, the only Shoutin' Tangergreen I ever found in Cape May County was in the Rio Grande Shop Rite. Maybe they had the exclusive rights for the South Jersey/Philly area or something. (And it was on sale that day, too. Sweet.)

Now that I know the new name, I'll have to look for it again. The Audubon Acme is one of the larger grocery stores in the area; they may just have it.

All this talk of lunchboxes reminds me of something that may or may not have been unusual about my elementary school: they used to segregate the lunchbox kids. I'm pretty sure it was to keep the line moving faster, so they had us sit down first, and then they made you just sit in the order you came in, so you always ended up eating with the same people you stood in line with.

I remember the first day I brought lunch from home, I didn't really know where to go, and just wandered around for a while, and when I sat down, it was all big kids - probably 4th or 5th graders, but I was only in 1st! So then I felt really self conscious, and my parents hadn't exactly gotten the sack lunch thing down yet, so my juice was packed in an old jar that I could not for the life of me get open.

Wow, I totally didn't remember how depressing that day was until I went through it all.

My most fond Ecto Cooler memories seem to revolve around using it as a mixer with vodka - case in point, New Year's Eve 1991 - I was 22 years old - Everybody else was drinking beer, but I felt like a mixed drink - my friend whose house the part was at searched his pantry for anything to mix with the Wolfschmidt's Vodka he had, and finally found a 3-pack of Ecto Cooler juiceboxes. He mixed it rather strong, and everyone encouraged me to chug - not the wisest of decisions, in retrospect. Two hours later, I was at home kissing the porcelain throne.

Oh, how I love X-E bloggers! I've been literally dancing for joy in my office since I found out about the Star Wars original release, and no one here really gives half a damn. Hooray, X-E!

The CNN article says that the crappy, not-well-done, special edition versions will be on the DVDs along with the originals. Um, who in their right mind would watch those?? My favorite part is: "The original theatrical versions of the first three "Star Wars" films are finally coming to DVD on September 12, two years after diehard fans blasted George Lucas for releasing only the digitally modified 2004 versions of the celebrated trilogy in a boxed collection." I was one of those diehard fans! It's like CNN is talking directly to us!

My school lunches fell into two categories: 1)The mid-80's when my parents bought anything they wanted because they thought the credit cards would pay for themselves and 2)The late 80's - high school graduation when my parents were way thrifty because all their money was going to paying off credit card debts. (Though, to be fair, there was the "lazy" period when they didn't want to have to worry about what to feed us and just sent us to school with the necessary $1 for lunch money. School lunches for $1 - those were the days.) So, needless to say, I'm more nostalgic for my early elementary lunches. While my snack alternated (usually consisting of some sort of fruit snack or pudding in a can), I miss Fruit Bars most of all. There are some health food companies that still make forms of them, but they taste like health food and not like the Fruit Bars of my youth. I was so sad when they discontinued them, and also when they stopped making most flavors of Fruit Roll 'Ups. Why just the two flavors now? I miss thee, grape Fruit Roll 'Up.

And who needs juice boxes when you can have orange juice in a thermos? Darn cheap childhood.

Chestnuts roasted by Lori @ 05/04/2006 10:41 AM EST

I've been very cautious about buying Star Wars DVDs because of the myriad editions that littered the buying landscape. While I didn't mind the tweaking of a scene here and there, what happened with Greedo and Han was a bit too far. Makes me want to get one of those "Lincoln Shot First" shirts I've seen around. My Sister-in-Law is a real SW nut, so I'll have to e-mail her and ask her opinion on the new release. But, I can't wait to play the part where the 'Trooper bonks his head on the doorway over and over again in DVD quality.

I was talking about this article with my friend Jess and she reminded me of her graduation party. Her parents love a good party and no party is complete without enough liquor to fill a lake. We got majorly wasted, ran out of juice and ended up finding some deliciously piss warm Tangergreen. We were all standing around a pitcher half full of vodka squeezing our little boxes out as fast as we could (to cut it open never occurred to any of us) when somehow I got it in my eye. I have no recollection if it hurt, but oddly enough she had an eyepatch (I think she secretly has cartoon pockets) and I wore it all night.

So about an hour later we're even more wasted and we're jumping on her trampoline when she sprains her ankle. At the time we didn't know if it was broken so we had to go to the hospital. The only sober person in the whole place was her 13 year old neighbor and he was courteous enough to drive us there. But before she would get in the car she insisted on taking a drink with her. I have a vague memory of her limping around, crying and saying she needed her drink "for the pain". Long story short, we poured vodka into her little Tangergreen box through the teensy straw hole and made our way to the ER.

Cut to the end of the night - me holding onto the arms of a lawnchair and puking into the seat and Jess passed out spooning her crutches. Good times brought to us in part by Tangergreen <3

Sorry guys but I personally could never see what the big deal about hi-c was. I mean granted my mom was the cheapest lady in the world and almost everything we got from pathmark either had a huge pathmark logo on it or was just completely white and said no frills. But all that hi-c, koolaid and whatever other juices all taste the same to me. The only juice that actually stood out was juicy juice. It was delicious! Even tho if you drink more than half a cup you'd be in the bathroom takin a crap in half an hour. What kinda juice makes you crap? Shouldn't it make you pee? Oh well. I've gone on long enough all I wanted to say was, not a fan of the hi-c and we always had those pathmark cookies with the cream in the middle (they had 3 rows of yellow ones that were supposed to be "vanilla" and bootleg oreo chocolate ones that tasted nothing like oreos) cuz my mom wouldn't get us any other snacks. Cuz she was cheap. And I'm finished.

Disclosure: I saw the SW Trilogy in full for the first time in Special Edition format (came late to the party, but I made it) so I'm okay with most of the whizbang effects and minor tweaks, though I learned to be outraged at the most egregious one like a good fan oughta. Even with that I would be okay with having to buy the SE but for the scandalous "Hayden as a Blue Ghost" tweak. That was a step too far. I'd love to sell my unopened SE but I know I'll want to be able to see the gorgeous modern SFX that I originally experienced as the Death Star kablooie so I'll keep it. Damn, that Lucas is insidiously clever when it comes to marketing.

and I love Hi-C

Well, you just know these new editions won't be the last ones released before the Blu-Ray/HD-DVD train wreck. Did you notice how the original theatrical releases will be included as bonus material in the DVDs, and that they'll have 2.0 Stereo Sound? It's obvious Lucas will churn out a 5.1 THX version sometime in 2007, with a nice little box to boot...

Chestnuts roasted by Roddy @ 05/04/2006 04:15 PM EST

Mtox: I honestly did not notice that link, for some reason. Many apologies.

Chestnuts roasted by Mike P @ 05/04/2006 04:46 PM EST

If it doesn't have Slimmer on the box, if it doesn't say Ecto-Cooler--then it not the real deal for this mourning fellow. RIP Ecto-Cooler, you made snack time lots of fun.

And if by chance the rat bastard who broke into my truck, stole my stero and left the cabin exposed to a snow storm is reading this blog--then I curseth thee to a life of deafness. You steal my musical doorway, then fate should steal away your hearing. And so let it be.

I throughly enjoy the site, Matt.

On an interesting side note: has anyone seen/smelled the new Play-Doh cologne? Apparently, Hasbro is making it to commerate the 50th anniversary of the delightfully ductile Doh.

Chestnuts roasted by DeeJay @ 05/04/2006 07:13 PM EST

I want to drink some right now...

Chestnuts roasted by Another_matt @ 05/04/2006 07:38 PM EST

At last! I can stop rubbing my body with wads of Play-Doh before I go out at night!

...which is not to say that I will, of course.

Chestnuts roasted by Jedoc @ 05/04/2006 08:27 PM EST

I like the smell of Play-Doh, but I wouldn't want it on me. Not unless I was a kindergarten teacher or something. I keep a few tubs of the stuff on my desk with my mini Fun Factory. When I first got it everyone kept coming by and asking if they could smell it. Yet no one has asked to smell the scratch n' sniff pickle sticker on my desk caddy.

Chestnuts roasted by Mystie @ 05/04/2006 08:59 PM EST

Yeah, Play-Doh was a decent smell. Way better than Nickelodeon "Gak," which smelled like old seafood.

Play-doh tasted like shit though. Too salty.

Let's pretend I didn't say that.

You all know you tried it at one point or another!

"Aww, Maggie, that looks like a real donut!"

"Uh, Dad...it says Non-Toxic!"

Chestnuts roasted by Mike F @ 05/04/2006 09:35 PM EST

Wow- What a blog! The Star Wars release, Play Doh cologne, and ECTO COOLER? It's all too much- what a happy day! I only wish I had the chance to get drunk off Ecto Cooler- maybe now those wishes can come true...

All in all, this blog makes me wish I still had one of my old lunchboxes. I used to have a She-Ra box, a Garfield box, a My Little Pony box and...a POPPLES lunchbox. They were glorious.

Mtrox = Spoodles, gotta remember that! Your throwing me for a loop man!

Lol. Spoodles you can stop messing around and go back to being mtrox. You don't want me to get the whip out again.

I've noticed the dead of Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen and anticipate finding the third generation of Ecto Cooler. <3

Chestnuts roasted by Denise @ 05/04/2006 11:56 PM EST

Matt, right now I'm watching an old 1980's b-grade Horror movie called "The Gate". You have to check it out, I think you'd love it, or atleast find it highly amusing. It stars a six year old Stephan Dorf. The movie plays out from his perspective.

Chestnuts roasted by Joker @ 05/05/2006 12:33 AM EST

Wait, there's a store with Acme in the name? Do they sell Anvils?
And a big HAHA to the guy who called Slimer "Slimmer". I love typos.

Chestnuts roasted by Rebecca @ 05/05/2006 01:11 AM EST

I just gotta say, I'm totally shocked that yesterday went by without a single, "May the Fourth be with you."

Chestnuts roasted by Mystie @ 05/05/2006 07:33 AM EST

Bravo, Mystie. That's absolutely dreadful and cringe-inducing, as any successful pun should be. Of course, you don't need my approval. A good pun is its own re-word.

Chestnuts roasted by Jedoc @ 05/05/2006 07:50 AM EST

I just realized, why does it still say "Chestnuts roasted by"? Wasnt that a Christmas thing? It's May! Not complaining, just saying.

Chestnuts roasted by Toxicity- @ 05/05/2006 09:07 AM EST

Way unrelated, but I know it matters, so:
I was watching TV last night, and saw a commercial for Subway that was totally recycled from the 80's. There was a a girl all Cindy Laupered out and she was singing about down with burgers or something and then there were 2 girls singing in front of a conveyor belt with Subs on them. I coulda sworn one of them looked familiar. Then it came on again later in the show, so I looked more carefully, and the girl on the right is Ione Skye, from Say Anything. But from way back when obviously. Anyways, it made my day.

Chestnuts roasted by kb @ 05/05/2006 09:08 AM EST

"Slimmer," the unofficial sequel to "Thinner."
They gypsy curse this time makes you see Slim Goodbody lurking at the corner of your vision. But, when you start seeing Slenda, you're as doomed as doomed can be.

Chestnuts roasted by kingklash @ 05/05/2006 12:12 PM EST

Crap, I did write "Slimmer." How wonderfully ironic I suppose, considering Slimer was based on John Belushi.

Little known fact: Belushi was considered for a roll in the film, but died sadly enough, so they based the character of Slimer on him as Belushi's ghost. Heck of a way to achieve immortality, to be reincarnated as a face-stuffing, disgusting, obese glob of green.

Woo. That is all.

I got no witty comments for today, I got finals this & next week.

They suck, too.

Chestnuts roasted by Invader Norbert @ 05/05/2006 03:26 PM EST

I feel you, Norbert. I've got finals and papers coming up this week. I'm in the perfect, super-stressed mood to participate in a relaxing SNT. Unfortunately, I'll be trying to control the masses of Tom-Cruise-lackeys going into M:I 3.

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!
see, this is why i hate living in newfoundland, we dont have ANY of the rad foodstuffs portrayed so beautifuly on this fine site, DAMN YOU MATT FOR MAKING WANT WHAT I CAN'T HAVE!!!!!!

Chestnuts roasted by JoshC @ 05/05/2006 04:37 PM EST

I hear y'all on finals. I just have to make it through Monday, and then it's all but over. The exciting thing is that after this semester I get a little paper with my name on it that says I'm good at stuff, though there's still awhile to go until I get the fancy diploma.
X-E bloggery helps numb the pain of finals. That, and maybe a stiff drink, I suppose. Happy Cinco!

Chestnuts roasted by squee4242 @ 05/05/2006 07:39 PM EST

Back in the day, I don't recall ever trying Ecto Cooler. However, after reading all these articles about it, I endlessly searched any store that carried HI-C in hopes of finding it. I did find a couple of Orange Lavabursts and that wasn't too bad. The strange thing is, I seemed to only find it at Target. But now I must find this new concoction and hopefully relish on this long overlooked flavor.

Chestnuts roasted by Heathtown @ 05/06/2006 03:14 PM EST

So I went to the local Pathmark and I found Crazy Citrus Cooler AND Screaming Tangegreen!

(should I drink the tangegreen? >_>)

Chestnuts roasted by 1upgamer @ 05/06/2006 06:32 PM EST

I'd like to go on record as saying that I like both the original and special editions of the Star Wars films and don't give a damn who shot first.

That being said, this REALLY fills me with hope. Because Lucas originally wasn't going to release the original cuts and if fan-demand can convince him to give these the DVD treatment, then maybe there's hope for the X-mas special after all!

Chestnuts roasted by Tetsu Deinonychus @ 05/07/2006 02:11 AM EST

Hey matt, I was at Holiday World today in Santa Claus Indiana and saw one of those cutout things where you stick your head through for a photo-op and guess who was on it? Slimer being chased by those zany ghostbusters. This thing has been in the park for years and they have no plans to remove it. here's a link to the pic! enjoy!

they can't hide it from me forever!

Chestnuts roasted by Jeff @ 05/13/2006 10:37 PM EST

Cool! I'll have to go buy some Crazy Citrus Cooler next time I'm at the store. I remember Ecto Cooler, but I'm not completely sure if I drank it. Slimer was the best though. Interesting that Hi-Ci decided to put the word "cooler" in the title of this latest incarnation of the slimy drink. Are they actually *trying* to tell us that this stuff is Ecto Cooler? Hmmm...

Chestnuts roasted by Santos @ 05/17/2006 08:50 PM EST

Bad news. I've been to four stores so far and have not found any C.C.C. This is really starting to suck. Maybe I'll find it if I *don't* look for it. Sometimes that trick actually works. Heh heh.
