I don't understand all the cross promotion. The only reason to buy hulk or other brand stuff is to collect it (unless you're a kid) cuz the real stuff is usually better, and lower priced. so you end up buying it twice. Curse my serving of logic.

Oh, I forgot... It was nice to see the Hulk Hands out of the closet once again... That was the first article I ever read on X-E. It made me all nostalgic. After waiting 12 hours at the court house in order to be told I wasn't needed as a juror, I came home exhausted and drained. For no good reason I typed "pop culture" into Yahoo and found this place. I've never left since. Thanks again for all the great work you do.

I always find interesting the US's ability to cash in on anything with pretty much anything. Chocolate syrup, cereal, sure, I could see that. But garbage bags? Wow...
And Matt, kudos to you for writing the article in Hulkish. That sure demands talent.

Otherwise? While Hulk piņata certainly is one sexy green bitch, I still can't bring myself to see his movie. Still, here's wishing for a Hulk-green throat lozenge for Matt: growling and rumbling in Hulk through a whole article can't be easy on the vocal cords.

No review of the Hulk fishing rod? I saw this at Walmart this weekend. What the hell are you gonna do with a Hulk fishing rod? Maybe they're only available here in Canada... cuz we love to do our food gathering with movie tie-in merchandise. I just wish there was a Hulk crossbow or Hulk leg-hold trap.

A few things:
- Hulk piņata's got quite a rack on him.
- Green milk looks satisfyingly disgusting.
- None of this stuff is as baffling as blue X-Men ice cream, except maybe the garbage bags.
- I don't understand a goddamned thing about promotional tie-ins.
- Talking green foam Hulk hands are the best investment anyone can make, way better than a box of Youngblood #1s.
- Why no Green Bamboo Hulk Peanuts? Marvel's seriously missing out. It Just Makes Sense.

I'll be damned, that is a Peanut. But it's merely a Peanut NEAR Hulk stuff, not a Hulk Peanut. Then again, knowing those things, they'd put the Hulk on the package and it'd have Chinese acrobats inside.

Oh, and the "Don't Get Mad etc." thing does make sense, thank you, Gozer. Maybe Glad will do a commercial with Don Rickles doing the classic Banner line. Then he'll drop his pants and fire a rocket.

Promotions and tie in to movies are a constant thing.

If this Hulk stuff was around when I was 6 and big into the Hulk, I would have been going NUTS over all of it. (And my parents would not be taking me to see the movie. Thier answers to seeing a movie was always: Wait for HBO to get it. Back in the pre common VCR days. I mean, I never got to see any of the original Star Wars movies in the theater. Which is of course why I have made up with an assload of opening night movie watching days. There is something about a movie on opening night you can't get at home or on a quiet weeknight..)

I gotta get me some of that cereal though.. the syrup too..

I wondered what would happen if I ate a whole bunch of green hulk syrup on Ice Cream and and bunch more in a huge glass of milk. Yes, it was disgusting going in. And coming out? No it does not turn your urine green. But..... Success! There was a marked green tint when I "dropped the kids off in the pool". KIDS. TRY THIS AT HOME!!!!!!!!!
