This isn't about the Bridglayer article, which was hilarious, but it is about the Mortal Kombat one.
In the early or mid 90s, the USA Network had a Saturday Morning Block of shows aimed towards kids. They had this weird Pee-Wee Herman type guy, a Street Fighter cartoon, and even a Mortal Kombat cartoon. If memory serves me correctly, it was actually pretty good. It had the CGI bits mixed in with standard animation, and they changed up the story a little. I didn't watch it much and I don't remember much about it, but it definitly exists.
Just thought I'd pass that along. Not that you really care anyway. :)

Personally, Cobra Commander has always been my favorite character (especially when he has that faceless helmet deal instead of the stupid hood). What's really interesting is to watch the evolution of his filecard. He goes from being a ruthless and skilled terrorist (http://www.yojoe.com/filecard/82/cobracommander.shtml) to being a small time hustler who made it big (http://www.yojoe.com/filecard/91/cobracommander4.shtml) to being a used car salesman with dreams of making it big (http://www.yojoe.com/filecard/97/cobracommander8.shtml)

My uncle operated a bridge layer back in the dya, and I would ask him what it was like and relay the info, but he mostly spouted crazy war stories about Vietnam and killing the NVA and VC. God I love whacky war veterans.
