Despite my long-chronicled (mostly here on XE) fear of E.T, I think if Dee Wallace left me a voicemail message, I would cry. Just due to nostalgia meeting my real life….or, my head would explode. You know, one or the other.

Congrats to the parents of "Nolan", whoever they are. I'm going to start up a new business. I'll arrange for the celebrity of your choosing to give you a call and leave you a voice mail. Extra charge if you want them to make it an "adult" message. But seriously, I had a blast yesterday hanging out with Velouria78 and Mr. Velouria78 and met a ton of horror stars. Got my picture taken with nearly all of them and got a few amazing autograhs. Highlights of the day: -Getting a giant hug and kiss on the cheek from P.J. Soles. "Totally!" -Meeting Linda Effing Blair -Meeting Chris Sarandon, who's incredibly nice. -Meeting Ohgr from Skinny Puppy and hearing him say he's going to try to check out my show. -Turns out Traci Lords is tall. -Having Angus Scrimm (The Tall Man from Phantasm) tell me that I'm "a bright young man with a very nice future". -Marky Ramone from The Ramones asked me where he could get some porn. -Made a good connection with Patty Mullen, star of Frankenhooker and she may call in to my radio show for an interview. -Richard Moll from Night Court and House is bat-shit crazy, and his assistant is kind of a dick. -Tony Todd is bigger than life and just as terrifying up close, even when he's not trying to be. -Dee Wallace is just about the sweetest person in the world and did something incredibly cool (see Bill's comment above). But the number one highlight and the entire reason I went to the convention... I met, talked to, and got my picture taken with Stephen "Evil Ed" Geoffreys! It was worth the trip alone just for that. Well, that and sort of, almost, but not really, making out with P.J. Soles.
