Brussels Sprout.

Hi guys -- just dropping in quickly to scream HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Literally. Picture me screaming it. As you can see, the blog has been redressed for the holidays. As soon as the smoke settles and I sleep off the wine, it'll be time for the reddest, greenest celebration on the entire virtual planet.

I kinda wish my family would put more veggies on the Thanksgiving table, but I guess I could always start bringing them myself.

These days, I don’t pig out much anymore on Turkey Day– yesterday I had one plate of food and three pieces of pie that were spread out over several hours. Then we all watched Home Alone and The Godfather on TV.

Can’t wait for this years Advent Calendar. My Thanksgiving was awesome!!! I ate till I passed out and spent some real quality time with family. Plus, I played my nephews WORKING Super Nintendo! I played Super Ghouls’N'Ghosts and Super Mario World for the first time in forever! Catch ya’ll later.

THE CALENDAR IS UP!!! WOOOO…highlight of my day was coming into work and reading the day’s entry…

I can’t tell you how absolutely christmasy the pic of the snowy tree with lights made me feel. It was odd. I’ve never loved Christmas this much since I was a kid!

Mandy-where did you find low fat eggnog ice cream? sounds yummy. My local curves gym had a deal where they would waive their normal $150 joining fee if you donated a turkey, so I signed up. I’m gonna start going monday.

Oh, man. The coverage of the parade sucked this year! Or maybe it was just the fault of CBS. Actually, it was watchable, but overall the parade left me with the feeling that it just wasn’t as cool as it was when i was a kid back in the 80′s. At any rate, I (and the wife) went over to my sisters’ place and ate an unholy amount of turkey, pumpkin pie, ham, stuffing, and all kinds of other stuff.

Now it’s time for Christmas….

Happy Black Friday, everyone! I’m celebrating my second Thanksgiving – a quiet one, by myself. I found a stream of the parade (without commentary or Broadway stuff) online and cooked myself a dinner. Now I’ve got two pumpkin pies in the oven, all for myself. (Lest anyone think I’m a huge pig, I only planned for one, but ended up with extra pumpkin mix.)

Did anyone dare to go shopping today?

berdoyes on the wii virtual console…and there is a new game called New Super Mario brothers Wii. It’s an updated mish mash of the first 3 games and given a graphical facelift, with some new abilities thrown in.

Mandy thanks for the tip. I’ve seen it before but don’t remember ever seeing a lowfat version. Another question: Either last year or the year before I remember seeig Cadbury ornaments. They were the exact same as the Cadbury Easter eggs (which are the all time best holideay-related snack ever) but they were shaped like ball ornaments. Has anybody seen them yet this year? I think it was Walgreens I saw them at but not sure.

That’s it! I’m getting out my Wii from storage and gonna let loose. I bought the new Super Mario Bros. for the DS and my wife and I love it. Maybe I’ll get the new one for the Wii. I’m more of a 360 guy, but I always been a Nintendo fan since the 80′s.

I don’t think I ever saw John Denver and Rolf sing together before. I grew up watching Christmas stuff like this:

Having a TOTALLY 80′s night over here! Got the house cleaned, having a Christmas kickoff party tomorrow, AND we watched Scrooged! Now we’re catching a special about the 1980 Men’s Olympic Hockey team. SO 80′S! Man I’m lovin life tonight! Yall have a good one!
