Haha, so obvious that it wasnt really Santa talking.
The actor seemed really caught off guard with the announcement being completly different from what he was told to lip sync to.

Okay, so Santa wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, but it still doesn’t change the fact that he represents Christmas, not Thanksgiving.
Anyway, the parade is ending so here’s my overall reaction: It was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. No freak accidents involving a balloon and a dozen or so spectators. It was nice to see the Spiderman balloon again. but they just skimmed through him and the rest of the parade was pretty much a big rush. It seems that the parades are better during years when there’s some kind of crisis going on. For instance last year we were going into the economy crisis and the parade was sort of a pick-me-up. Also, you think about 2001 and the events of 9/11 and still they performed a parade a little more than two months after that tragedy. I don’t know, I’m sure it was the same parade but my own personal feelings towards it was different in those years than they were this year. You’d think that being in Iraq this year would have a significant effect on me with the parade but it didn’t. Oh well, that’s the Macy Thanksgiving Parade of 2009. I’m already looking forward to the 2010 parade. Not only will I be back in the states by then but I’ll also be out of the Army. This should be my last comment for a while. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Thank you BJ for your service. I mean it.
Get home safe.
Okay, I know I promised to have posted my last post but I just wanted to mention I was looking up the Christmas Hershey Kisses commercial on YouTube and came across this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APGLt2wndUM
Not only does it have the Hershey Kisses commercial but three other classic commercials as well. I think they’re all great but the Campbell’s one really stands out to me. Anyway, enjoy.

Berdo: I’ve heard it so often, all I can really say is it’s okay. It’s part of the job, and besides, this is my third tour. It is my last one however. Even though the economy is the way it is right now, I really am looking forward to being a civilian again.
