Matt, one of my favorite articles you’ve ever written was your review of the Freddy Game. At the end you review a Freddy figure thats in almost exactly the same pose as this squish’em. Your description was classic:

“If you’re wondering why Freddy’s posed like that, it’s cause I just told him the story about how I once thought I won the lottery, and went all the way down to the lottery office only to find out that I’d misread the numbers. Freddy was all like, “No way!”

Do your hands embarrass you? Do they look funny?

Yeah, my parents were cool about letting me watch these movies. Think I had a poster on the wall at 7 as well… I dressed as Freddy in second grade, but NOBODY BUT ME REALLY GOT TO ACTUALLY SEE THE MOVIES.

I think I’d be a pretty different person today if I hadn’t grown up with a steady diet of R-rated movies and pro-wrestling, though.
