That was a good article indeed.

I haven’t been into wrestling since elementary school. Even then, it was fleeting. I remember the WWF cartoon on CBS (?) And I did eat at the WWF restaurant in Manhatten with a few friends once. That’s about as close I’ll ever get to being at a match. I ordered a burger and the tomato that was on it was rotten, so we got our meal for free. Never went back again, and never really cared much for WWF afterwards.

I always thought Ricky the Dragon Steamboat and Jimmy Supa Fly Snuka were cool though.

I put X-Entertainment on my RSS feed on my blackberry just recently. I didn’t even notice the new post until this morning!! How awesome is that?

It started cooling off on Monday and ever since then I’ve felt something was off. Seeing this makes the fallness just perfect!! Glad to see Matt hasn’t forgotten about his faithful followers :-D

Ben, Sorry, but I’m not Mr. King. (At least I don’t think I am. Not unless some kind of royal domain was bequeathed to me without my knowledge. But I digress…) No, as you may see on the X-E facebook group, I’m just a dude named Gary. Sorry to disappoint. (Unless you do have some kind of dominion for me to rule. In which case, let’s make with the potentatin’.)

I tried to post the other day but it gave me an error. So here goes again:

With football starting next week, I went to Target to pick up some autumny-candles and was excited to see if the Halloween seasonal section was up. Back-to-school was still up. =(. But now my house will smell of apples and pumpkins while I watch violent men run into each other. The only thing missing now is some Sam Adams’ Octoberfest.

I went to the WWE restaurant years ago to see a couple of concerts(Drowning Pool[Dave Williams R.I.P.]Coal Chamber Ill Nino).Never got a chance to eat there though.I have been to a few live matches and even appeared on tv.WWE Live is alot cooler than watching on tv.I’m not into it as much as I was for the first 20 years of my life.

Ghosted by Jason @ 09/03/2009 11:05 AM EDT

I think I’ll go pick up some autumnal candles at Walmart or something. Some of my favorite scents in the world are things like pumpkin and cinnamon. And I have the sudden urge to drink apple cider.

This has nothing to do with anything, but I decided to go through AFI’s top 100 films of all time and put all the ones I haven’t seen in my Netflix queue– except for a handful that didn’t really look interesting to me. Eventually I will get around to watching them all. Also, I stuck in a few horror flicks like Carrie and Halloween (neither of which my husband has seen). I’m stoked!

Could someone please post a link to the X-E group on Facebook? I keep searching for it and coming up with nothing. :(

So the people who were bitching that Matt wasn’t updating the site are now bitching because his newest update isn’t big enough?

Sheeesh. Some people need to be taken behind the woodshed and beaten with a rubber hose.

Tetsuro/Capt. Will: Thanks loads. I also have this image of Rev. walking by occasionally, spitting a few hateful curses at us old codgers sitting on the porch in rocking chairs. Then she takes a pause, flashes us, and runs away cackling like a madwoman.

citygirl: That’s awesome. “When this baby hits 88mph, you’re gonna see some serious shit.”

“Strawberries”?

I didn’t see anyone mention it.

I bought a string of Frankenstein head Halloween lights from the Christmas Tree Shop+a bunch of other stuff this past weekend. And it’s dipping into the low 40s at night in these parts.Needless to say it’s chilly on the way to work in the morning.Pretty soon it’s gonna be Autumn and Summer will be a memory.Sad in a way but redeeming itself with the spookiness of the coming month. :)

Ghosted by Jason @ 09/03/2009 2:28 PM EDT

I mentioned the strawberries, also the jukebox is named blueberries.

Can anyone makeout what it says on that calander?

You see Jason?! We were silenced.

Oh well :S

here’s a Halloween dance that I have to learn before the 31st!

Ghosted by Ford @ 09/03/2009 2:40 PM EDT

Ford-You need to learn how to dance like Crispin Glover in Friday the 13th IV(? I think that’s the right one).It is freakin hilarious. The way Matt has it in the review it’s like super fast and 10x more hilarious.

Ghosted by Jason @ 09/03/2009 2:59 PM EDT

Ford WTH??! Seriously, WTH?!?!?

Weird…as I scrolled down and the post filled the screen, I couldn’t even see the name, but I knew Goob had shown up. How you doing, Goob?

DJ D, I’m curious as to where I fit into your vision of our X-E crowd as old folks. Perhaps I don’t. I’m probably not cool enough.

Anybody heard about any holiday Jones sodas this year?

Ghosted by Teddy Ray @ 09/03/2009 4:47 PM EDT

For whoever asked/wondered. Sept. 18th is Rosh Hashanah.

Although, according to a website I found it’s also “National Mushroom Picking Day”.

Celebrate whichever you choose, but I personally am going to be mushing it up hardcore.

Thanks for the link Annette I had been thinking about moving from myspace to facebook and with an X-E group that made up my mind.

In other news I have just found out that in our old Circuit City building there will be some Halloween Megastore and from the looks so far they are using the biggest part of the store. It opens Monday and I am ready to see what they got! I’ll prolly hit the dollar stores and Wallgreens this weekend just to keep me satisfied until the big stores open.

Another classic Horror Dance is From Creepshow, Ed Harris doing some Disco to the mysterious song – Don’t let go!

They’ve since taken down the youtube clip, but here’s the glorious song in all errr.. um it’s glory!

Darth – lol glad you liked(??) it.
Pick it up, it’s on DVD – a great addition to any slasher collection.

Actually Sep. 16th is Mexican Independence Day.

Ghosted by WolfMan @ 09/03/2009 7:18 PM EDT

Teddy Ray: Oh, you’re there. I picture all the regulars lined up in rocking chairs, kind of like the front porch of a Cracker Barrel, swapping stories and telling tall Adventurer tales. Sometimes the women folk join us, sometimes they’re off doing women folk stuff, and spend a lot of time poking fun at us.

Ghosted by DJ D @ 09/03/2009 7:36 PM EDT

Thanks, guys. Actually, despite the things I wrote, I cannot help but still tune in to RAW every week. In fact, I am going to see WWE live this month! Addictions die hard.

Mandy, when I first read that I thought, “Wow, that’s a weird name for some kind of neuromuscular disorder, ‘Chinese Dwarf Hamsters’ …”

Come to think of it, “Chinese Dwarf Hamsters” would be a great name for a rock group, though I think it’d also piss off the Asian community, the little-person community, and probably PETA as well.

DJ D, I hope you don’t think I’m planning on doing women stuff.

I am out in front of that Cracker Barrel, drinking Georgia Moon corn whiskey from a mason jar and cussin’ at traffic.

Believe it.

Ghosted by jimbutsu @ 09/03/2009 9:51 PM EDT

Teddy Ray Thank you for the welcome back. I hope none of you feel neglected or insecure because I was gone. Just focusing on other things so I can be really focused on this upcoming holiday season with you guys. And I have heard before people saying when they see a long post they assume it’s from me and I think that is funny. I just can’t say everything I need to say in a paragraph or two. I post long ass comments in every blog I visit. Not here but other places I feel it’s an honor for them to get a 5 paragraph comment from me so they better not bitch. Rev. knows what I mean by that. I think she understands me more then I understand myself in some cases. I think it’s her big forehead but I am not sure.

ellaenchanted I don’t know if you meant me as well but I try not to ass kiss. That is annoying to me as well. I don’t put people on pedestals even celebrities I really admire. I feel if I met some of my favorite celebrities I would just hang out with them like a regular person. And that is what they want anyway. I met a celebrity the beginning of July it was cool. He hugged me. I am not going to tell you who haha it’s one of those celebrities you are like you know that guy that did that thing and they are like no I don’t get cable lol.

Oh yeah!! You guys I found the funniest picture the other day and I wanna share! It’s a ninja turtle picture!

Here it is! Link kinda NSFW

Mmmmm…Friday before a long weekend is coming!

I went school clothes shopping with my son today, it was as I remembered it as a child. The clothes part went OK, but when we got to picking out shoes there was a full out brawl. He wanted light up Sketchers and I wanted him to have Chuck Taylors. I won.

Ghosted by kb @ 09/03/2009 10:19 PM EDT

I do understand you, Goob. It’s the power of the forehead. It radiates knowledge and power. It is developing its own following.

Muppet Baby: I still watch it too but mostly from my DVR so I can FF past everything I don’t like. Which usually makes RAW last about 13 1/2 mins. lol

Goob: Glad to see you back. I hope you are as ready for Halloween as I am. Oh and I love the ninja turtle pic!

did somebody say something about mushrooms?

anyway, i didn’t read ANY of that last post. instead, i used my x-e time to revisit some favorite treats. Nads Hair Removal Gel? oh yeah! Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue? yep, toasty! Corey Haim’s Video Diary: Me, Myself, & I?? That’s X-E baby!

kb: Congrats on your victory. Way to be strong. When I was in the 6th grade I convinced my dad, after a great deal of begging (”You’ll never have to buy me anything ever again!”), to buy me this ridiculous $60 pair of BK’s with the pump up tongue thing. They had this stupid half-basketball thing poking out of the tongues and when you squeezed it, it pumped air into the soles. That was back when Air Jordans reigned supreme and it was all about having air in your soles. Well, I was all of about 4′5″ and weighed about 70 pounds soaking wet and couldn’t play basketball to save my life. Still can’t. All the tongue pumping in the world wasn’t going to do anything for my jump shot. I still feel bad about that. $60 back then was a lot more than it is now.

Strawberries? hmmm….
And Sept. 16th? Double hmmm… with extra lettuce.

Oh, and September 17th is my birthday! What a month it’s gonna be!

Goob- Funny picture, though I was a little distracted by the photo of the day next to it. lol

Ghosted by Hazard @ 09/04/2009 1:49 AM EDT

Rev. I knew it was the forehead it’s just when I think about it I get insecure. I think that t-shirts should be made for it’s fanclub w/ one of those paintings on it.

SLICK316 Thanks. I am getting excited last night I watched some Halloween Simpsons episodes. I was giggling last week about that picture like a little 12 year old boy. After his older brother explained what “eating out” is. That is what older brothers are for.

Hazard Oh yeah those pictures sure are distracting. The pic of the day a couple of days ago was a full on girl bending over and you getting an eye full of her practically bare ass. I admit I spent at least 2 full minutes looking at it. That is how I am and the world just has to accept it :)

Any body else having this problem?
Any ideas?
