Nah. So far I have seasons 1 and 2. I am slowly letting myself buy them, to stretch out the goodness. I love love love the Muppets.
I also really like Floyd, from the band.

I gotta go with either Beeker, Animal, or Rowlf. I always thought Rowlf was way underrated. And yeah, Grover shouldn’t count. Anybody else seen the Behind the Music thing they did of the band on Robot Chicken? It was hilarious.
Man, I forgot how much of a crush I have on Amy Pohler till I started watching SNL tonight.
Hello, all! I will happily accept a random SNT. I’m just chatting online with my best friend and preparing for a rare Sunday off. My favorite Muppet? Fozzie Bear. I know what it’s like to be the butt of jokes, I dig ancient jokes…and I like bears.
Baby Beaker FTW!
He and baby bunson would ocasionaly drop by the main MB’s crib and bust things up good.
Adult Beaker always had that menacing “Sling Blade” thing going on…lost a bit of his innocent charm later in life

Thanks for the update, Matt! As for me, I’ve been watching some behind-the-scenes documentaries for Batman Returns. That was quite a movie. In fact, i’m listening to the score on iTunes right now!
Looking back, this site has amassed an impressive body of work over the years. I read a bunch of old articles on a whim the other day: the owl pellet dissaction kit, the peeps maker, the snoopy snow cone machine, GI Joe Lite Brite, etc. The Alf cake article was pretty good, too. The point is, there’s a lot of old stuff to look through on the site and it holds up extremely well!

Awww man. Come on , give us something. Just a peek.A Battle Beast arm , a review on paper clips , anything. I…I need it.I got nowheres to go. I’m so confused. Without the guiding light of HE-Men , turtle ninja teenagers and transforming transobots , I am nothing. Like a Madball without bloody boogers or the Star Wars prequels , worthless. I feel like a gremlin taking a casual walk on a sunny beach and I am anxious because I do not know when to eat because it is always technically after midnight.X-Entertainment!!! entertain me.
Oye! just finished watching Shaun of the Dead. What a classic!

One of my all time fav guests on the muppets was Vincent price. I liked the part where Kermit became a vampire and bit him. lol

Oh no, here we go again with the fucking whiners. “Matt doesn’t have time for this…Matt doesn’t have time for that…I think X-E is done…I can’t live a normal life because I’m so hung up on a nostalgia website that won’t update every two minutes.” Fuck all the haters- X-E is alive and well!! Sorry Boots the Whiner…it’s just that folks like yourself are what makes us not want to come back to X-E…Whew, I fell much better!

Hey Matt, any chance you could do another article on defunct sodas? I love the last one.
Ghosted by Paul @ 04/19/2009 8:55 AM EDT
I was always fond of Robin and Scooter for some reason.
I don’t think it’s a Robot Chicken sketch, but there was a parody on some show where the Muppet and Sesame Street characters do a Comedy-Central type roast of either Big Bird or Mr. Hooper that was hilarious. I think I saw it on MTV.

Chiablo- Why buy all that stuff when all you need is James Lipton with a video camera?
Boots the Monkey- I like Mittens the Kitten better.

dang SNT way to not offer me any jobs
Ghosted by AJ @ 04/19/2009 11:47 AM EDT
I dunno. On the top of the main title page it states that “X-Entertainment is nearly back from the dead.” I have no idea how long that was posted up there, but maybe Matt has some plans for the site.
AJ- I’m sure Rev. would gladly hire you for her own purposes, but you probably still have dignity…
Ghosted by PlantMonster @ 04/19/2009 12:02 PM EDT
Matt, whatever you do, DONT LISTEN TO THE HYPE! As long as Pepsi is churning out short lived new flavors, Hasbro is keeping the G.I. Joe and Transformers franchise alive, and so help me God as long as there is Halloween every year, X-Entertainment can never die! Even if it only survives as SNT threads. Just look at all of your fans! You have truely started something you cannot possibly contain, mwahahahahaha!
Ghosted by Old School Mike @ 04/19/2009 1:03 PM EDT
OK, real quick, as one of a handful in this thread thats been here longer than this year -
You know what brings down XE? Uncreative whiners who can’t do anything on their own, because their fun consists entirely of being a sucking leech off others who enjoy life.
Shut up, stop whining, and leave us to enjoy XE. It’s not Matt alone that makes this place, its the community that we enjoy too. And in the absence of Matt, if you quit jacking up my community, I’d enjoy that alot. Kthxbye.

I just drank the Mountain Dew Throwback and I got to say I’m kinda disappointed. I thought it would taste sweeter or something, but it taste just like the Mountain Dew they already have, just in a different bottle.

Hey folks! Still on the Non-Smoking Wagon, forgot to drop by for SNT.
And I’m also excited to say that, for me, this Friday is Pokemon Friday! I’ll have been off the cancer treats for a month, and my lady love is giving me Pokemon Platinum as a reward. I haven’t played Pokemon since Yellow came out, and I’m excited as heck!
I wish Throwback would hurry up and make it down South so I can try it. I’m on a diet where I’m removing artificial stuff from my intake, and can’t wait to have an affordable soda that doesn’t have high fructose corn syrup in it. How do they taste, anyway?
BTW, if anyone is interested in this diet, click my name for the link. It works, last time I was on it I lost a fair amount of weight in just 2 or 3 weeks.

No, but if I had seen War Planets when I was a kid I might of gone berserk!! they look fantastic!! What year were they around?

If I didn’t know better (and I don’t) I’d think Guy = Matt.
Just an honest observation. Plus, it’s funnier for me to believe this.

oh crap…I was busy reading Breaking Dawn(last book of twilight series…for now)last night! oh the wonderful height and low depths emotionally that this book has put me through!!1!!!11!! what a wonderful ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I literally walked out of the bathroom applauding(it’s where I do alot of reading)
Ah well…on a lower note…I had to sell my xbox360 today. I need money for car insurance. The things we do in a recession. *sigh* but on a happy note….I don’t have to sell the wii yet.
Ghosted by mandy_Reeves @ 04/19/2009 2:37 PM EDT
Wow, War Planets looks pretty cool. It said at the bottom of that page that it tied into a cartoon. I wonder what that was like. I don’t remember any of it though.
I think Manimal was quoting Muppets, there I hope so!
San Francisco is neat. I don’t want to go home. Hope everyone else had as nice a weekend as I did, and a happy 420 while you’re at it
Ghosted by squee4242 @ 04/19/2009 3:25 PM EDT
I had a pretty good 420 yesterday while watching ‘The Muppet Show’. Now I have to work work work since I go back to teaching tomorrow after vacation. It will be a real shock to my system. I haven’t woken up before 1 PM for the last 8 days.
mandy_reeves: I loved the Twilight saga, EXCEPT for Breaking Dawn. That one felt rushed, read differently, contained too many new vampires I didn’t care about and DON’T get me started on what she did with Jacob…

“Guy”- That about sums it up.
Ghosted by PlantMonster @ 04/19/2009 3:49 PM EDT
War Planets, if I remember correctly were a middle to late 90’s item. They came out right at the tail end of my “still playing with toys” age. I’m fairly sure I was one of like three people who actually bought them. Never knew there was a TV show based around them. Glad you guys thought they where cool! I think I’m going to cover them in the near future over on my YouTube/Blog website.
Check out the rest of that website… it has all kinds of GREAT old Toy Lines on it. Anyone else on here collect the “Trash Bag Bunch” toys?
As long as we’re talking about Dr. Pepper Cherry, Pepsi and Mountain Dew Throwback, I may as well say that I still have a box of Pepsi Summer Mix. I drink a can or two during the Summer and darned if I don’t miss the stuff, although I can achieve the same effect by melting a few Gushers and pouring the contents into a bottle of regular Pepsi.
By the way, I love Dr. Pepper Cherry and the KISS commercial for it.

mandy OMFG TWILIGHT!!! *flails* I think Eclipse is my fav, though. Big battle scene and all that. Sorry about your xbox… I’ve been looking around my room lately wondering if I have anything that’s worth anything should I need to sell stuff for money. Dreading work tomorrow… the hospital is laying off 250 people, 16 of which is in my office. I think at least 9 took a voluntary leave package, but tomorrow all the bigwigs are going to get together and I guess decide who else is going. I don’t think I’ll be one of them since like 25% of my department is leaving and we’re behind as it is, but still the drama is fucking unbearable.
One more week til I go back to school. *stabs self in eye*
I remember that War Planets toon. I thought it was awesome. I’ m pretty sure the same people who made Reboot made it.

UPDATE: Anyone who remembers my story from the previous post…while on vacation, my landlord came and ripped down all my Xmas lights, leaving them in a heap on the porch.

Muppet Baby: Your Landlord sounds like a jerk. I hate landlords who act like that. As long as you pay the rent on time, it should be your business what you put up.

Darth Poop- I’m PlantMonster.
Mystie- Here’s a joke for you- How many EDWARDS does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Muppet Baby- Now sounds like the time to break out the staple gun. And the glue. And the stripped-down, bare wired Christmas lights.
Y’all- I have been going through a severe Christmas kick since late March. I just watched Scrooge for the first time tonight. I have been drinking 7-Up Pomengrant excessively. I’ve been reading old fallout threads and ACs. “The Italian Christmas Donkey” has been stuck in my head for a few days. Does anyone have the antidote?
