I have not seen a prosthetic HEAD, but have seen prosthetic ears and one man with a prosthetic nose. There’s this one guy on Discovery health who got his face mauled by a bomb or something in a war, and he has like a freaking Mr Potato head thing goin on. Face lips and surrounding mouth area..and a fake nose and eye

Are you serious with the Edward vs. Wolverine? I am pretty sure Edward would shamble on up talking about how he’s “not finished” which would send Logan into a berzerker rage leading to the total dismemberment of Edward. Wolverine doesn’t fuck around.

drew do, I like Jersey Girl, too! But I thought Jay and Silent Bob in pigtails was pretty freaking funny.
Rev., tell those folks to be careful. Someone in this town is trying to burn the playhouse down. They want to stop the ones who want prosthetic foreheads on their heads. But everybody wants prosthetic foreheads on their real heads.
stina, if by “Edward” you mean that douchenozzle from that sparkly vampire travesty, then I will not even dignify your query with a response. If you mean Edward “Ted” Kennedy, Wolvie would win in a fight, Kennedy in a drinking contest.
Speaking of Wolverine, anyone seen the movie yet? I thought it was good…some things I could nitpick and the claws looked really bad in a couple of scenes, but overall a decent flick.
On the other hand, I saw a new trailer for G.I. Joe on the myspace. I’ll see it, but I’m gonna bitch about it.

Wolverine is without a doubt one of the coolest comic book characters EVER! Winner, Wolverine! Those horror themed breads look AWESOME! They look very impressive and realistic too.
Teddy Ray: It’s in our nature as fans to complain about movies about our fav series. lol
Chestnuts roasted by ULTRAMAN @ 05/01/2009 9:36 PM
Teddy Ray: I’ve also seen the trailer, as well as zillions of pics of Cobra Commander and all the other characters and my bitching’s already started. I’m trying to hold out hope that I’ll see something that will redeem all the crappiness of it–like a full on Hiss Tank, or hell, even a Trouble Bubble, but so far I’m not getting my hopes up.
Really looking forward to seeing Wolverine tomorrow though. I hope I don’t come out of there bitching about anything. This might actually make me like Deadpool, who, while he is a fan favorite, was always a character I really couldn’t give 2 shits about. It’s not that I don’t like him or anything. I just don’t really care one way or the other. Then, after the movie, hitting up Free Comic Book Day. Just making a whole geeky day out of it, I guess.
Dan and I were talking about this earlier: Anybody else see the new Transformers trailer yet? There’s a lot going on there. I’ll come out of that one bitching too, but at least it looks like there’s a lot more to look at, and I’ll be interested to finally see Devastator and Soundwave on screen. However, I dread seeing how my favorite Transformer of all time (Soundwave) is completely Bay-raped.
SO, now that we’re talking prospective movies again, I’ll lug out my old soap box. WHEN THE HELL ARE THEY GOING TO RELEASE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggDNhd5FC2U ?!?! WHEN? I NEED TO SEE IT! CAPS LOCK!

Freddy vs Groundskeeper Willie?
“Ach! Sinky sand!”
Chestnuts roasted by kingklash @ 05/02/2009 12:52 PM
King JLA: It goes like this in my eyes.
In the Waking world. Wolvy by a country mile. In the dream world, stale mate. Wolvy wouldn’t be able to kill Freddy because he invulnerable in the dream world, and Freddy wouldn’t be able to kill Wolvy because he doesn’t have any fear. At least, none that I’m aware of.
kingklash: I’ll have to think about that one.

ULTRAMAN, what are these horror themed breads you’re talking about?
DJ D, I saw both the new G.I. Joe and the new Transformers trailer yesterday. My reactions:
G.I. Joe: “I’ll see it, but I’m gonna bitch about it.”
Transformers: “I’ll see it, but I don’t think I’ll be bitching.”
Then again, I liked the first Transformers flick.

Just got back from seeing Wolverine (and picking up some free comics for Free Comic Book Day).
Well, it turned out about how I thought it would. This is actually not one that I thought I’d come out bitching about. I figured I’d like a lot of it, but still have a few issues with some minor things, and that’s pretty much how it went. They really monkey around with comic book continuity, so if you’re a stickler for that, you might be a bit miffed. I was willing to look past it though.
I never really knew much about Deadpool, and never really cared, before today. He’s just not a character that ever interested me, but from what I understand the Deadpool in the movie isn’t exactly the same as what fans are used to seeing in the comics. That’s about all I can say without giving anything away. Oh, and stick around till after the credits.
I think it was a little bloated as far as characters. I don’t really know what the point was of including Scott Summers and some of the other mutants other than just to give the fans something to talk about, but whatever. The fanboy in me was glad to see so many familiar ones (especially one very unexpected surprise cameo), but I think it kind of weighed the plot down a bit.
Otherwise, I can’t really bitch too much. I’m cool with it.
G.I. Joe on the other hand…well, we’ll just have to see. It’s not looking good so far.
DJD: You just KNOW the G.I.Joe message boards are going to be overloaded with fan rage when it hits theaters. lol
I just don’t like CCs look at all. It would be a cool look for someone else, but not for him.
Chestnuts roasted by ULTRAMAN @ 05/02/2009 7:15 PM
ULTRAMAN: Oh yeah, no doubt. And I’m with you on CC. It looks ridiculous. I mean, is it THAT hard to just give him the simple blank, silver mask with blue helmet? Seriously. Hell, I’ll settle for the blue hood. I don’t know what this shit is that they’re trying to pawn off on us. He looks like a Mortal Kombat character. And not a good one.
ULTRAMAN- Maybe they would become poker buddies and smoke cigars with each other….

Okay, this is driving me insane. I went to McDonald’s last week and they STILL had signs up for Shamrock Shakes, but said they had none. This weekend I went to said McDonald’s again, sign was still up, and when I asked if they had Shamrock Shakes they said, “not right now,” like they were insinuating that they would get more in! What the fuck. Isn’t anyone else bring played with by their local McDonald’s? So cruel.
