has anyone heard anything new about Robocop 2010? No one seems to be able to say if its going to be a straight remake, a “reimagining” or a sequel… Personally I am getting really sick of all these damn remakes… if your going to go to the trouble to assemble casts and crew, build sets, write scripts etc. it seems like you could at least make a new story… have not seen the new F13 yet, most likely i’ll just wait and see it when its on dvd… i just cant bring myself to go to the theater for remakes or re-imaginings or whatever you want to call them…
Why am I thinking this is an Andy Kaufman-esque moment going on here on the boards with Fitzgerald posting the book?
Didn’t Kaufman once read out the entire “Gatsby” at a university concert to screw with his audience? I wonder…

I have an HP elite book tablet and it is fantastic. I use it for school and it is really great because you can take notes during class and meetings. I have had both and the tablet is amazing. Also Microsoft OneNote is essential.

Speaking of our pathetic lives, does anybody else actually transcribe books when they’re feeling bummed? Like, looking up a favorite passage and transcribing it, to be therapeutic? Kinda the book nerd version of posting song lyrics to MySpace, I guess.
I have an HP laptop with 32-bit Vista and lots of bells and whistles I haven’t come close to testing yet. It’s great for me, but I have found myself looking covetously at tablets sometimes.
The main thing when buying a comp is not to skimp on performance. Vista is a hog and will bog down computers a lot.

Back to the person who is buying a new laptop, there are rumors (fact?) that Microsoft is going to be offering a free upgrade to 7 if you buy a Vista-equipped computer within a certain timespan. So that’s something to think about as well.
Who here watches Robot Chicken? I just finished watching it tonight and they had a Classic parody to the Great Pumpkin. It actually comes alive and kills all the kids except poor old Charlie Brown! Oh yeah, and Beavis and Butthead join the Teen Titans. Funny shit right there!

TOmmy!: If you have a time machine, sure, they were doing through like May or June of last year. Personally, I have no problems with Vista, though I was very hesitant to buy a laptop with it. That said, 7 seems to be everything Vista should have been and more, and I’ll probably upgrade to it when it comes out. I don’t mind Vista and all, but, it is a resource hog.
Is it lamer to post on here to shoot the shit with each other,or to post on here daily to make fun of people who post on here. I mean,you’re making an actual effort to do something you dislike.

PlantMonster The drinking comments weren’t me. I would never flat out say disrespectful comments here. I might nudge someone in the right direction (like I did with Fitzgerald) but I wouldn’t flat out say you suck to someone. Well I’ll take that back I would say you suck to Rev. but that would be directions and not an insult
Teddy Ray I feel there should be moderators everywhere in life that is public. Just to weed out the people that aren’t considerate of others and to answer questions that are asked. Especially on the internet. I don’t feel ignoring is the right approach, a warning first and then a boot. With the nasty trolls no warning just a boot but for people like Fitzgerald a warning would be appropriate.
Squee I have an HP laptop with Vista on it too. I feel like we are siblings now. Eh, not really but it is still very cool. I am using it right now it’s my main computer.
Whitebacon My best friend has the beta copy of 7 on a spare computer right now. He really really likes it and thinks it’s a lot better then Vista. He used Vista in beta mode too before it came out and was impressed with that at the time so take that however you can. I am sorry I can’t answer your question from before I would suggest you waiting until the first few updates come out for it and all the major bugs are worked out. Being the first to buy a product is never a good idea.
I have been seeing some of you on blogtv this last couple of weeks. That is very cool. I saw in the freezer section of walmart was empty and there was a label for dole brand large hawaiian pizzas for 2 dollars a piece on clearance. That one tiny label has made me so mad for the last 5 hours or so. I got some breakfast tacos (egg, cheese, and turkey sausage in a soft taco) 6 of them for 2 dollars on clearance as well so that balances it out a little. And also 50 percent off valentine’s canday.
I took a week off from posting here because I really had nothing further to say about man eating chicken. I’ve run out of thoughts on “yo” as well but as I understand it, X-E Matt is super super close to caring again.
