Sorry I haven't posted...I've been watching the Super Bowl for two weeks straight!!

Hmmm. Work: Riotously busy, so I won't bother promising anything for this week. But maybe I'll surprise you. Also, I don't want to post once and then vanish for another month, so no worries there. The site's like a junked car. It's annoying to think about crawling under it to fix things, but once I do, it'll run smoothly.

To clarify: If I don't post for a while, it doesn't mean I died. But then again, I suppose it could?

Speaking of death, our last fish finally kicked. Now we have a 55 gallon fish tank with nothing but water in it. Sad, but now the opportunities are endless. Any ideas? I'm thinking blue crayfish and blue crayfish exclusively.

I dig the Bermuda Triangle theme. Either that or “fish in space”. I could envision a moon-scape with tiny astronauts and old school Martians. And a space octopus. Yeah…a space octopus.

Today, as I toil away to earn my keep, my husband is off and he just called from the aquarium store. He bought an elegance coral and a torch coral. It is very rewarding to be married to someone who enables me. I can’t wait to watch these sea creatures wiling away an unnatural existence in a simulated natural environment within my kitchen!!!

Hey, the guy who draws and runs the Dork Tower comic and website sells these little Cthulhu figures, complete with tiny scared humans that he can hold. There’s a diorama idea! Instead of live cephalopods, just stuff it full of Elder Gods!

I am at the Atlantis resort in Dubai right now, and after seeing thousands of sea creatures in this underwater hotel, i would spend all of my money to have just a piece of this in my own home!!!

or sharks! there’s a water slide here that is a glass tube that goes through a shark lagoon like come on!!

Wow ellaenchanted that’s a pretty neat place to be! One of the hotels in Vegas has one of those shark slides too. Can’t remember which one…one of the old ones downtown, not on the Strip.

I tried to link to the X-E article that references the Amazing Sea Monkeys, but the filter got me. It’s probably just as well, now might not be the best time to bring up unresolved cliffhangers

I think you should forget fish and just get one of those Russian tortoises that cost like $300 but live for 100 years. My GF’s aunt has on that is like 25 years old and he is sweet.

NEW FOOD GIMMICK-
They have pudding now from Jelly Belly (jelly bean company) that tastes like watermelon or blueberry! So far I only had the watermelon but it is the shit!!!

Whew-I just watched the final episode of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and wow was that a good series. To those of you who haven’t bothered to check it out yet,it definately lives up to the hype.
If the sequel ever really does come out,I’ll be all over it,but at the same time,I wouldn’t mind it ending the way it did. Leave them wanting more.
