Man Eating Chicken is dead.

Sorry I haven't posted...I've been watching the Super Bowl for two weeks straight!!

Hmmm. Work: Riotously busy, so I won't bother promising anything for this week. But maybe I'll surprise you. Also, I don't want to post once and then vanish for another month, so no worries there. The site's like a junked car. It's annoying to think about crawling under it to fix things, but once I do, it'll run smoothly.

To clarify: If I don't post for a while, it doesn't mean I died. But then again, I suppose it could?

Speaking of death, our last fish finally kicked. Now we have a 55 gallon fish tank with nothing but water in it. Sad, but now the opportunities are endless. Any ideas? I'm thinking blue crayfish and blue crayfish exclusively.

My whole life up until a few years ago. You could get them warmed up and… oh god, I can’t think about it any more. I kept asking for them everytime I went through the drive through for about two years after I knew they were gone because I couldn’t reconcile myself to a life without them. I’m going to go hold my styrofoam clamshell collection and cry.

Must be a regional thing. Funny story I have from a McDonald’s trip a few days ago: Some guy just comes in and is hating the line. He then asks about getting a “mini Big Mac,” like a Big Mac…but smaller. It apparantly wasn’t a Mac Jr, but something else.

After a few exchanges with the girl saying “I have no idea what that is,” and “we only make Big Macs and Mac Jrs,” the guy says “Have you ever been to Delaware?” Like that helped. Then he gets all pissed off and storms out.

“MINI BIG MAC! I’M NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN! FUCKING MINI BIG MAC…” Granted, this was also during a rish period with quite a few other employees telling him they don’t make them.

If the phrase “Have you ever been to Delaware?” hasn’t become an in-joke among the staff there by now, it should be.

Unfortunately my cheese danish experience is limited to midwest experiences only: Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota. I tried to get one in Delaware once, but the assholes kept telling me they didn’t make them.

everyone who’s read my numerous complaints about having no money can rejoice! as of the 23rd i will be gainfully employed once more! YAY!!!

all this talk about childhood pets makes me think back about Speedy The Hamster… he was named speedy because he would go around his little hamster wheel at like 50 miles an hour… Speedy was a bit of an escape artist. Often times i would put him in the giant plastic hamster ball so he could run around the house and get some revenge on the cat. Often mere moments after letting him go i would feel a strange tickling sensation on my foot and look down to see him scurrying through the kitchen, the hamster ball laying disassembled in the other room somehow… the best though was when he somehow managed to wriggle between the couch cushions and fling himself down into the bottom of the couch, which me and my sister then had to rip open on the back to get him out. My sister ran out and tore the storage shed apart to find the staple gun so we could fix it again before our parents got home…
