My dying wish is for an owl/camel hybrid, which I call camowl.

7777.

I was hoping my first post after a seventeen year drought of blog entries would be more substantial, but I had work today, so all you get is filler.

The Advent Calendar isn't finished. I feel okay with this, because we still haven't taken down our Christmas tree. I'm serious. And it's a real tree. And the decorations are still on it. And it's right in the middle of our living room window, so it's not like we can keep this dastardly secret to ourselves. Believe me, it has nothing to do with refusing to let go. When you get down to it, we're just kind of disgusting,

Or maybe the Advent Calendar is finished, but linked in mysterious ways. It's very doubtful and I'm probably lying.

I don't owe anyone anything. I was quoted on the Ghoulies IV DVD box, for Christ's sake. You're lucky I turned down Hollywood.

I hope everyone's well. I don't have work tomorrow, so unless I come up with some brillaint excuse to get out of writing, there will be new, actual content here. What will it be about? I'm not allowed to tell you.

Clearly, a survey is in order. In the comments, tell us your least favorite movie of all time. It doesn't need to be the worst movie you've ever seen, because bad movies can be great. Muster all of your personal bias, and present the reasons why "Movie X" makes you want to kill people with rocks.

Once I finish building my robot, I'll join in.

I remember a “very special” episode of Home Improvement where Jonathan Taylor Thomas had cancer. Then it turned out to be something called a “goider”. Gotta love sitcoms.

My dog had seven puppies today, and I didn’t know she was pregnant.

The Cartoon All-Stars article was the second one I read here and the one that made me keep coming back for more. It’s frigging brilliant. My first article was the one about the Hungry Man dinner thing. Wow, that was a long time ago!

Bobby – Can I have the rights to your story? I bet I could make a VERY SPECIAL X-Episode (haha… PUN!)

Chestnuts roasted by Nigel Chaos @ 01/24/2009 1:28 AM

Can’t remember my first article, but I remember when the Bulbasaur saga entries were new. Also, the subsequently removed Jack Chick comic theatres.

Yes, I was reading several years before I started posting.

Annette – Which Hungry Man article? the one with the *nastiest* breakfast ever?

Now for a very special message: Don’t have puppies. It’s as bad as Steve Urkel wrestling the Bushwackers! (it’s on Wrestlecrap.. really)

Chestnuts roasted by Nigel Chaos @ 01/24/2009 1:34 AM

…or as bad as Budd Bundy wrestling King Kong Bundy.

Chestnuts roasted by Stevezilla @ 01/24/2009 1:42 AM

…or Jackie Gayda wrestling, well, ANYONE.

Chestnuts roasted by Stevezilla @ 01/24/2009 1:44 AM

Steve – Touche’! if we’re going to compare wrestling cameos in bad sitcoms.. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Mankind (Mick Foley) and VADER~!! in that one episode of Boy Meets World…

and if none of you have gotten the joy of seeing the actual Cartoon Allstars….. Well… This is missing the intro by the Bushes (heheheh) but it’s complete beyond that.

Cartoon All-Stars was ALSO my first article on XE!

Just as good as Matt’s review? The one by the Nostalgia Critic.

Nostalgia Critic & Angry Video Game Nerd for the win.

the first article i read was about dorito’s… I was at work and DjD who i worked with at the time told me i had to read this article about people trying to use the phrase “i dont like to think about chicken while im eating dorito’s” in normal conversation… since then i’ve gone back and read a large chunk of the archives, and all of the newer articles…

I am late getting in on this blog post. I have not worked in a week and that is the only internet acsess I have. I managed to read almost all of the 6oo some odd comments, so now I reply to what I think is important.

1. I’m am a bit younger so I was a HUGE Power Rangers fan. The first PR movie was awsome, But “Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie” was a huge POS! Also, the made for SciFI Channel movie calld “Ticks”. The name says it all. Just imagine wood ticks the size of dinner plate and teen campers lost in the woods. The rest writes it self.

2.I don’t understand how people can shut off a movie after 10 min. That is nowhere enough time to make such a harsh judgement on a 2 hr. movie. I have NEVER not watch a movie all the way thru. Because there have been numorus times that I will be a 1/4 of the way thru a movie and I think it sucks. Then BAM! the movie starts kicking ass and does so for the rest of the film. So, I never judge a movie till it’s over!

3. McRIBS RULE!

4. XE WILL NEVER DIE!

Stick that in your straw and suck it! :P

Muppet Baby Awww your so kickass! Have a blast I know you Canadians love hockey so that sounds like a blast for you!

Rev. I remember when you used to offer me your Gray papaya. Things were so much better then. I felt whole. I ignored the rumors that your Gray papaya had been all over town but I shouldn’t of been so naive. Oh well live and learn.

I think I am going to watch Labyrinth tonight. It’s been a while. I just got a different laptop (same line of laptops as my old one but more ram and hard drive space and a newer model so it looks the same but it’s better) so I have to set up all the different little settings I had before and install all the programs I use all the time. I am happy about it but it’s still a pain in the ass at first.

Nigel, I’ve been trying to post something all day and I keep getting a message that it’s a duplicate. So I’m going to try divvying it up into separate posts.

Sorry in advance for multiple posts (if this works).

#1 – and of course, Muppet Baby already left. But the rest of you might like this:

Muppet Baby, you haven’t seen hockey until you’ve seen this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nah3nMStXV4. Have a great trip and be safe.

#2…Rev: X-E Matt has a whole new website somewhere else, that he maintains diligently. Every day, another article. Every night, a celebration of bloggery.

But he won’t tell us where it is, because we’re the dorks from the old site. The has-beens. The know-nothings. He is slowly disassociating himself from the lowlifes of his past. You and me.

When Yuan Jing mentioned Atlantic City, I had a wild thought…maybe he had a secret meeting with Big Daddy!! Hmmmm…I wonder…could there be a connection? Do you suppose Matt’s been placed in the Blogger Protection Program?

Here’s a question for ya’ll. Why does radioshack ask you for personal info when you go in to buy something as simple as batteries?

Chestnuts roasted by ULTRAMAN @ 01/24/2009 5:13 AM

Okay.

I give up.

The post I had marked #1 refuses to cooperate, and I’d wanted Muppet Baby to see it before she left. But some of you may like it. And since apparently I can’t post a YouTube URL here, just do what it says in the italics.

Muppet Baby, you haven’t seen hockey until you’ve seen this: go to YouTube and do a search for bears playing hockey.

Chestnuts roasted by Trish @ 01/24/2009 5:14 AM

Trish – THANK YOU!! :-)

I’m glad I’m not the only one.. I honestly thought it was because I listed another movie series that I didn’t like… because I posted it before and it’s still “awaiting moderation”

Chestnuts roasted by Nigel Chaos @ 01/24/2009 6:59 AM

Ultra- they’re after you.

and the series I didn’t like.. and GOD forbid I type the same joke 3 times.. but I’m about to… I hate the “… Movie” series because I’m still waiting for something I haven’t seen since the first movie. “FUNNY Movie”

Chestnuts roasted by Nigel Chaos @ 01/24/2009 7:01 AM

IT TOOK! HELLLLLLL YEAH! -runs around and hugs everyone who posts before and after him!-

Chestnuts roasted by Nigel Chaos @ 01/24/2009 7:08 AM

Nigel Chaos: I KNEW IT!!! They ARE after me! Trust NO ONE
