Yay for the continued existence of Matt! I’ve still been refreshing the site embarrassingly often since the 22nd. I hope peace offerings come in the form of Waiterbot.
New Year is kind of a boring holiday (not that it’s easy to follow an act like Christmas), but I spent my New Year’s Eve with friends, Monopoly, and Mario Kart. Good stuff. Happy ’09!

I agree Mars, I seen to have better years on odd numbered ones; like Star Trek movies…

2009 already, wow. For some reason I still get stuck at 2004 … it wasn’t a particularly good year but it somehow always sounds new. ’06 and ’07 sound old though, so I don’t get it.
Bah, I hate New Year’s though … it’s always exactly the same as any other normal day, and I always end up ringing in 12:00AM by myself. Boo.
Personally, I’m looking forward to January 21st, since that’s when LOST comes back. YES!

Hip hip hurray for a MAtt update and happy new year to all. Had one of the better new year eve’s ever. First one as home owners and had a fun group over for lots of drinks and games.
Can’t wait for the AC to return.
must sleep now.

I can’t wait for LOST to come back either Although, I seem to recall there’s something else going on January 20th that I’ve been rather looking forward to as well
Happy new year everybody!

Those peace offerings had best include Old Fezziwig’s Ale!!
I guess nothing was ever going to top last year for me, ringing in the New Year with Amanda Palmer in the Grand Ballroom in New York. Playing Scrabble with the family and watching the countdown on TV this year was a tad quiet, after that.
Yaaaay!! Hap Hap Happy New Year! What I am excited Another year putting up with everybody’s (and my own) craziness. You know what I am talking about Rev.? I love that girl. I hope everyone has/had a safe yet fun New Year and I am looking forward to sharing and reading stories this year with you all.
Does anybody else get this – the older you get (I’m 30), New Years Eve just seems overpowering and not worth the fuss? Or maybe I’m just getting old and miserable! =)
Either way, I sat at home last night, watching old episodes of ‘Star Trek’. And I enjoyed it, so there!!
Happy New Year one and all.

Thank you for all the good times throughout the years Matt & fellow X-E’rs. It has been a great trip down Memory Ln. and New Experiences Dr. Here’s to another wonderful year together. God bless.

Hahaha I’m 32 and at midnight I kissed my wife and told her and my boys happy new year……we were sitting on the sofa watching The Strangers (thumbs down) and then we went to bed like at 1:00 am
Are we old people? Are we the people we used to make fun of 12 years ago?

My first post of 2009, whoo! With the way my night went I should have stayed home, but oh well. At least I got to dance a bit and guzzle some Strongbow.
