12/05/2008: Holiduh.

Woof. Long day. Just got home. Working on the Advent now, but it may be an hour or two late. Shit happens, even during Christmastime.

Let’s just call this a random thread for now. I’ll update this post when the Advent is up to date. :)

EDIT: AC’s been updated for December 5th. Technically, I wasn’t late!

JLAJRC: Stay Tuned without a doubt! The click remote could mess with our dimension, but the stay tuned remote could do that AND transport you to OTHER dimensions too! Plus, once you were there, it could mess with those dimensions too.
Man, I JUST got up from a REALLY long nap. I woke up earlier today, but I fell back asleep after being up for an hour. Also, it’s FINALLY started to snow in my neck of the woods!!! =)The temp. has also dropped to WAY BEYOND FREEZIN! HAPPY SNT YA’LLL!!! =D I’ll be on smash land later tonight.

The concept of Stay Tuned — that the devil could take control of your TV, suck you into it, and torture you on the TV shows — scared me to absolute death, and I did not see it until many years later when it aired on network affiliate TV.

I got the sense they thought the movie would be a bigger deal than it was. Chuck Jones himself directed the animated segment, and the entire plot is derailed for a few minutes to make room for a Salt ‘n Pepa music video.

My car slid out of control in the snow twice. :(

Stayed overnight in Hershey last night and got up early today to go for my coding certification exam. Finished just in time (5½ hours), and I think I did pretty well. Hershey is a lot easier to get to than I thought… I’m considering going back for Christmas festivities but I doubt I’ll have the fundage.

Is anyone else having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit this year. This site is helping me to start to get into it. I don’t know, I think it might be because my Grandma died around this time last year, plus it doesn’t help I watch news programs all the time.

I’m not doing well keeping up on the AC but I’m catching up now. Can’t believe we made it 5 days before remarkablous.
Love everything so far matt except one thing. We need more Kuse Knacks interaction. You kept them apart most of last year and Kuse has been silent this year. The Kuse Knack Mare interactions are one of the best parts of all this.

Mystieglad to hear you did well. I heard Hershey park has some really pretty stuff during the Christmas season…I have to see what kind of Holiday lights thing is going on near me….With the recession and stuff I dunno if there is any kind of light thing this year. I usually like the one in Holmdel, at the PNC arts center. Its like 7 dollars a car or something. you just drive through and see the pretty light displays.

Ah well….oh yeah…anyone get a check in the mail from onlinegaming.com? Hubby got this actual check, like a paycheck looking thing, for 4500 dollars. He was supposed to cash it and send 2999 back to the company and then they would use it as a payment to cover the processing fees of the grand prize 190 thousand dollar check. SCAM obviously. But the check was real. It just bounces after 10 days.

Drew, I actually think that if you’re looking for Waiterbot, try looking for the Utrom figure from the new Ninja Turtles toyline. Because that’s waht waiterbot is.

Also, I was wondering a few things about the Advent Callender, specifically last year’s one. First off, where the hell can I get a giant rabbit like the Leviathan? I really want one of those, just so it can lord over my toy collection. And secondly, how on earth did Matt get the idea for this new tradition of cryptic clues and mysterious nightmare-fuel hints to the story of that year’s Advent Callendar?
