Wow I think everyone that just bashed Twilight should share with Mystie and I, books that you all have found enjoyable and maybe even loved. Then Mystie and I can bash those, even though we have never read them, and keep things even. Fuck! Usually everyone here is on the same side and nice to each other! LOL!
I kept an open mind about Twilight going into them, and guess what, I ended up really enjoying the series! I do not consider myself a lover of anything emo, or teen centric. The fact is that these books can be enjoyed by anyone of any gender, any age. Like I said, you just gotta experience these books with no pre-conceived notions!

Ok, this housewife is off to bed now. I am very happy for doing some SNT, and I think I will have a chance next week too!
I’m off to dream about Shiny vampires with Oreo balls that enjoy to brawling on the Wii.

Oh and as far as books go. I don’t think any person should be knocking down anyone’s choice of literature. The fact is, everyone has their own tastes and hell, reading as a pastime is not really the norm for people, so good on anyone that has found joy in reading!
The more you know!

Hey all, finally updated my blog to reflect the greatest Christmas movie ever (from the 80s). Hit my name for the post.
In other news, I seem to be getting ill, which freaking sucks. Having a three day weekend from work, and sickness is not fun. Black Friday is next week but I work at a stately-old-department store which doesn’t believe in gimmicks, so it’ll probably just be slightly busier than normal and at normal hours.
I’m starting to feel the Christmas thing, and I have so little free time I’m gonna have to say screw it and go on a pre-emptive Christmas strike where I bypass Thanksgiving and ho-ho-ho my way right into December.

I feel better now that I read through all the posts and found a few other folks have enjoyed the Twilight books as well.
Matt I am so excited you watch True Blood! LOL! Maybe you can turn some other people onto this awesome series!

Eh, I just didn’t like Twilight because I’m really picky about writing mechanics. Couldn’t deal with the writing style. Anyway. Let’s all be nice and talk about Christmas and shit now.
I made a wreath. I went to Walmart the other night for the sole purpose of getting tweezers (I lost mine in the move). Ended up in the Christmas section. Damn you Walmart.
All of my Christmas decorations fit in one small box, so I decided to get a couple of things. I wanted a wreath but the pre-decorated ones were too tacky for my tastes, so I grabbed a blank one and wandered around looking at all the different ornaments for like an hour, trying to figure out what to decorate it with.
I found a feathery angel wings ornament, and a glittery white ornament that says “Peace” in a script-y typeface. Then I found this mini garland that kinda looks like blue starbursts. It looks much better than it sounds.
anyone know what’s going on with the link on the advent calender for the 23rd?
it takes me to a page with links to random picture, and the parent directory is something about dinosaur dracula?
what the fuck, matt?

Sounds pretty, Annette.

Ah, another noob asking snittishly about Box 23 without reading past comment sections or the Box 23 blog ‘thread’. Its the beginning of this year’s mystery, just like with last year’s Advent Calendar.
I have the urge to draw tonight…but what, I don’t know. I should probably just do it.

Great Brawlin, ULTRAMAN. Even though you spam harden lol. I’ll be on later. Right now I’m hungry.

Leigha: My Brawl friend code is 2019-9583-4389 in case you want to add me. =) Cdogg: Nice Brawlin with ya X-E buddy. =) Hope the connection wasn’t laggy in yur end, cause it was on mine. Although it was still playable. If it was, it wasn’t either of our faults. It was because of the distance between us. That’s just how Nintendos Wifi is with certain games. It sucks I know, but you just deal with it when it happens. Most of the time though, their Wifi is great! =)

Aaron: Usually I’m not so spammy but, I guess Matts tactics in battle have been rubbin off on me a little. lol.

The background is absolutely amazing. It’s so festive and pretty.
Chestnuts roasted by Al @ 11/23/2008 2:41 AM
ULTRAMAN: Yeah, it was laggy like CRAZY! Oh well, it was still fun, and thats what matters. I might be on later tonight, though. And the Wii is great!
Chestnuts roasted by Aaron @ 11/23/2008 2:42 AM
Lol. I never brawled Matt, yet…
Matt, wanna brawl?
Chestnuts roasted by Aaron @ 11/23/2008 2:43 AM
Mystie, I clicked your name, and saw what you did to Skeletor. Wierd. Matt, I didn’t do much tonight
after my daily walk outside. I’ve just been looking
up old video games, especially for the Atari 2600.
I was especially looking for the worst video games
ever made. You should see how often the E.T. video
game for the old Atari 2600 pops up. I should mention
that 720 for the original NES should be on that list.
Partly for the crappy music. Gonna see if I can find
some old Christmas commercials.

If anyone here’s ever heard of the guy, I recommend viewing Jeff Dunham’s Very Special Christmas Special. Seriously, this guy cracks me up. I was laughing through an entire 4-minute commercial break.

So “Twilight” the movie has nothing on the book? I’ll probably end up seeing it anyway at some point. Like Annette, I had some trouble with the book at first because of…I can’t tell if it’s Meyer’s writing style, or the character Bella’s narrative voice, but all those machine-gun adverbial passages made me shut it a couple times. The English major in me, I guess… But the story itself is pretty engrossing, and I like her unique take on vampire mythology. But yeah, no need to bash people’s taste in books (that they even HAVE one these days!), movies, etc., on here. We’re an X-E family, adopted or otherwise!
And I notice people are getting into the Christmas spirit especially early this year. I noticed the abundance of Christmas shows on ABC Family all day, and the light-rock station in Baton Rouge switched to 24-hour Xmas music two weeks ago. Better now than never, although I’d hate to see people get burned out on an otherwise wonderful holiday.
On a more season-appropriate note, “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will be on ABC on Tuesday night!
DocDragon: I think that guy’s HILARIOUS! Plus he’s a REALLY talented vantrillaqest.
Chestnuts roasted by ULTRAMAN @ 11/23/2008 2:54 AM
Jeremy, thanks for the C.B. infoQ My soft rock station did the same. On another season appropriate note, I saw Garfield’s Thanksgiving for the first time!
Chestnuts roasted by Aaron @ 11/23/2008 2:55 AM
Josh C. It’s a joke from a ventrillaquist. His redneck puppet, Bubba J, made the joke. How to make it: Grab some egg nog, pour it down the drain, and grab a beer! Bottoms up!
