Just a random SNT. I’m working on a couple of things, but mainly I’m working on relaxing.

LALALA at work glad everyone is having a good time.

*sigh*I hate it when everything else is coming out good but there’s just ONE part that makes me feel like I totally suck at drawing…

Ghosted by Moony @ 11/23/2008 3:13 AM EST

Another lousy video game, Bebe’s Kids. Guys, the 23′rd box is obviously a sign that something screwy is about
to happen to Kuse, Knacks, Mare, and the residents of
Caracappa Land. Raiders of The Lost Ark for the Atari
2600. Me and my cousin never figured that game out by
ourselves. If you want to see a good Christmas
commercial, go to YouTube and type in Buy The World a
Coke 1984 Christmas version. Great memories.

2 crappy games: A Bug’s Life and Nickelodeon: Party Blast.

Off to bed for me. Gonna play some Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team while listening to Christmas musix in my Cinammon scented room. Night!

Aaron:Pokemon ROX!!!

I considered reading Twilight for the lulz but I already own too many unread books to justify such a thing. Y’all know there’s a “new” Harry Potter book coming out in a couple of weeks right? Tales of Beedle the Bard…it’s not a new novel, but a collection of wizard fairy tales (it played a big part in the plot of Deathly Hallows). Of course there’s a super fancy edition (only $100!) that I’d love to get.

I was going to check out Smash but Sandra Lee’s got a Thanksgiving episode on, can’t miss that. Ooh, she’s making some kind of abomination out of peas and green beans

I think Box 23 is a sign that screwy things will already be happening to our tiny Advent friends by the time 12/1 rolls around. We’ll be in medias res, as they say.

Freddy Rodriguez and John Leguizamo are in a Christmas movie coming out?!? I am so in for that. Why am I only just hearing about this??

Ghosted by squee4242 @ 11/23/2008 3:44 AM EST

Sewer Shark for Sega CD. Why did I ask for the Sega CD for Christmas? That movie with John Leguizamo looks
and sounds good. It looks like The Family Stone. I’ll
be heading for WDW soon. I wish I didn’t have to fly
to Florida. I don’t like flying much. When I get back,
I’m getting that Cobra Rattler plane if I see it. It
will be a Christmas present to myself. I’m gonna get
my nephews gifts from WDW. You guys got any
recommendations?

Oreo balls, but do I have some great news!

I’ve been lacking something huge in my holiday seasons for years past: a single movie that is the very first Christmas movie I can remember watching.

I’ve been searching for at least 5 years now, in Wal-Mart bargain bins, used DVD stores, overpriced snooty video stores. Failed every time.

Well tonight, my fellow X-Ers, I have triumphed. While getting milk at the grocery store, I just happened to look down and see a Christmas DVD display. And lo and behold, parked directly behind Mickey’s Christmas Carol, there it was, my favorite Christmas movie of all time, conveniently priced at just $7.99.

My quest is over, I finally own a copy of Ernest Saves Christmas, and I wanted to share because you are some of the few people I know that would appreciate it.

I have been blessed. Arr.

Ok, I can’t sleep now, I just witnessed Jackass 2.5 on Comedy Central. Steve-O had drank beer that had been poured down from the longest fingernails in the world. It’s unclear when the last time they were truly cleaned, but it resulted in some rather off-white liquid being trickled into Steve-O’s mouth.

It was pretty much the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen and now I fear that I can’t get to sleep. Someone amuse me.

Ghosted by Invader Norbert @ 11/23/2008 4:18 AM EST

Captain Will: I know what it’s like to search for what seems like forever for a kinda obscure movie that you just have to have. I’m happy for ya X-E buddy. =)
Invader Norbert: Want me to juggle some stuff?

Ghosted by ULTRAMAN @ 11/23/2008 4:29 AM EST

Hmm, have you been acquainted with StumbleUpon? I’ve started using it recently and I find it pretty amusing. For example, I just Stumbled onto this amazing artifact.

Ghosted by squee4242 @ 11/23/2008 4:37 AM EST

I just found a gift card my momma bought from Best Buy 4 years ago! I just used it tonight! It was STILL good! lol!

Buenos dias, freaks. I’m back. ^^ And I brought along a new friend.

HOLY SHIT, I nearly made a real SNT. Its good to be home.

Ghosted by Dio and Lucas @ 11/23/2008 5:57 AM EST

It’s that weird kid with the psionics. Extremely cute though. (And Lucas ain’t bad either)

Welcome back, Dio!!!

Ghosted by Guise @ 11/23/2008 6:02 AM EST

Norbert: DO IT. Animal Crossing: City Folk is all the best things from Wild World and the GC version. You won’t be disappointed.

You know, Lucas and I need some practice, so at the risk of over Brawling the thread:
4038-6253-9186
Guise, you get Pit, and it’ll really be a party.
And for you guys who already have City Folk:
1977-3654-7924
Town: Maple
Character name: Diz

YES. This feels good. I missed XE.

Ghosted by Dio and Lucas @ 11/23/2008 6:04 AM EST

Captain Will Bravo :)

Rev. It’s so good to have you back. I missed the sprinklings of your quips throughout the comments section.

Leigha Everybody loves my schweaty balls ;)

Mystie I heard from another online friend to not walk but run AWAY from seeing the movie Twilight. I wasn’t planning on seeing it anyway. That indie film with the two kids that fall in love and the boy just happens to be a vampire has gotten great reviews though I should really see it. It’s called let the right one in.

I made dinner and my best friend’s lunch today like usual but then I excitedly plopped down with my dinner and a full glass of pom 7up in front of my laptop. I don’t usually like to eat in front of the computer because I don’t want my laptop to have an assload of crumbs in it. But yes I am one of the 70,000 geeks tonight that absorbed youtube live with their eyes and ears. It reminded me of an awards show but it was enjoyable.

I love that they had more then one camera because honestly a lot of the musicians and performers I either didn’t like or didn’t know. I loved being able to stalk Michael Buckley and hearing Fred’s real voice. Buck is my new thing I am VERY fascinated with. I know he has been popular forever but I just now have been paying attention to him. If something or someone is popular it makes them or it a huge turnoff to me.

It honestly got me pumped even though I think I am a bit older then the demographic they were shooting for. It makes me want to do housecleaning with this energy. I have about 3 hours of alone time left so why not?

Ghosted by Goob @ 11/23/2008 6:52 AM EST

Crap. The girl is a vampire not the boy. I should of been vague so I would of had a 100 percent chance of being correct instead of 50.

Ghosted by Goob @ 11/23/2008 6:54 AM EST

I just got my first (of probbably about 50) box of Christmas Crunch today! Also, I can’t wait for this year’s Advent Calendar!

Ghosted by earthwormgoddess @ 11/23/2008 10:36 AM EST

Today you can get your free Dr. Pepper due to Chinese Democracy coming out. But I must warn you it’s a hassle because it’s so busy. It’s taken me over 30 minutes to go through their website. And I’m already pre-registered from a previous promotion.

I didn’t even know about Twilight until it was on the cover of Entertainment Weekly a few weeks back. I’m not planning on reading/seeing it, but I have no problems with it existing, or even chick flicks in general. Some of them can be quite good.

Ghosted by JLAJRC @ 11/23/2008 10:38 AM EST

Sorry to double post, but can anyone tell me who that little blue-headed guy who looks like his body is a Rubiks cube is at the top of the advent calendar? Is he from a christmas special I am not aware of?

Ghosted by earthwormgoddess @ 11/23/2008 10:39 AM EST

Free Dr. Pepper…I have nothing else to do today I guess. I was wondering how that was going to work. Does anyone have an opinion on the new song? I was (yeah I’m cringing a little) a huge GNR fan in eighth grade. To the point where I drew roses and pistols all over the inside of my trapper keeper.

So it’s kind of nostalgic to hear new stuff. Similar to hearing a new New Kids on the Block song. Balls, am I the oldest one here? Where’s Dan???

Ghosted by Amy @ 11/23/2008 10:43 AM EST

Stephen Colbert’s Christmas special is on tonight at 10! I’m so pumped. If you miss the days of cheesy Christmas specials with random celebrity walk-ons and singing, this seems like it’s going to be just that sort of thing – but with COLBERT!

Ghosted by jazzy @ 11/23/2008 10:46 AM EST

Earthwormgoddess: There was actually a Rubik’s Cube cartoon in the 80s and he was the main character. Matt did a review of it years ago.

earthwormgoddess Sit down earthwormgoddess for I shall tell you a tale… There was a rubixs cube Saturday morning cartoon in 1983 that lasted 1 year. That’s it.

JLAJRC I downloaded the album off of their myspace. I am not really a guns and roses fan but serves them right for putting the whole thing up there. Yes I am proud of myself. If you go to file2hd.com you can too be like me. lol!! I think I need a new hobby to replace my hobby where I go around feeling better then everybody else.

jazzy I am going to try to watch that.

Ghosted by Goob @ 11/23/2008 11:01 AM EST

Damn, Dr Pepper’s server is Hammered. Why don’t they ever prepare for things like this? I guess I’ll have to try later…

Ghosted by Cameron T. @ 11/23/2008 11:18 AM EST

Jazzy – I’m all over that tonight!

I love sundays. Animation Domination and football. I’m pumped about the Jets vs. Titans. But I’m a little miffed about King of the Hill being either canceled or moved to ABC in favor of ANOTHER Seth McFarlane show. Celeveland? Really? He’s probably the least interesting character on Family Guy and he’s getting a spin-off? And they’re only now rememebering he has a son.. and they make him fat? Bears for neighbors? … I still like Family Guy and American Dad! just fine.. but I don’t think I need ANOTHER show of his..

Ghosted by Nigel Chaos @ 11/23/2008 11:23 AM EST

Amy, I think Dan’s got his walking stick trapped in the stormdrain again – he’d have fished it out but he got distracted telling kids to get off his damn lawn.

Ghosted by Guise @ 11/23/2008 11:25 AM EST

He forgot where he set his ear horn. Can’t hear me calling him…

Ghosted by Amy @ 11/23/2008 11:46 AM EST

Aww Goob, I never went away. Just been quietly watching. I read every post. Sometimes someone mentions Oreo Balls and that’s when I need to jump in.

I will be chomping on Oreo Balls before long. I will think of X-E with every ball I gobble.

Ghosted by Rev. Back It On Up 13 @ 11/23/2008 11:59 AM EST

All this talk of balls is making me uncomfortable… and hungry.

Cream cheese and oreos dipped in chocolate can’t possibly be bad, so I will make. Thanks for the spiffy idea, Leigha.

Now to figure out how to make them without the kids knowing…

Ghosted by Fungusmungus @ 11/23/2008 12:35 PM EST

If I could go to the store, I would definitely be making balls today.

Ghosted by Amy @ 11/23/2008 12:54 PM EST

FM, yeah, cos I don’t think it’d go too well the following day at school when FM Jnr. tells the teacher “an’ I helped daddy dip his creamy cheese balls in chocolate”…

Ghosted by Guise @ 11/23/2008 12:54 PM EST

and then fed them to mommy.

Ghosted by Amy @ 11/23/2008 12:56 PM EST

Ok, I totally went to sleep not 5 minutes after that last comment. I thank you all for your efforts.

Can’t wait for Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All! I really want to buy the DVD for it just for the cover.

Also, reminder: The 24 movie is on tonight, so no new Simpsons, FG and such. :(

Ghosted by Invader Norbert @ 11/23/2008 1:17 PM EST

You guys (Amy, Guise) are just plain wrong… Oh so wonderfully wrong.

Enough of this ball talk. Let’s talk of something more serious:

I was just talking to my neighbor, Phil McCracken. He was craving bearded clam… Any good recipes?

Ghosted by Fungusmungus @ 11/23/2008 1:34 PM EST

Am I the only one who has driven their family insane by insisting that the “Christmas Story” marathon is a good thing and should be left on continously? Actually, I hink they’re vindicated. I get up at 2:30 on Christmas morning to watch it as many times as possible. Also, has anyone heard of Jingle All the Way? Its a TERRIBLE movie, but thats why I love it!

Ghosted by PlantMonster @ 11/23/2008 1:35 PM EST

Plant – We have it on all day during Christmas.

My dad wears his “you’ll shoot your eye out” shirt and we open presents.. -sigh- I wish it was Christmas already.

Ghosted by Nigel Chaos @ 11/23/2008 1:55 PM EST

If I have the remote, it’s on the whole time.

Ghosted by Amy @ 11/23/2008 2:09 PM EST

I cant, believe so many people are making the balls, and yes…GoobI did think of Schwetty balls the entire time. I kept saying “delicious dish” but the husband didn’t get it, he just didn’t watch SNL in the late 90’s I guess…. also, the husband just finished watching “Let the Right One In” and cannot stop going on and on about it, I may have to see it soon just so I know why he is gushing about it so much. I am going to try out the Brawl thing in a bit and hope that I don’t get my arse kicked because I am awful at the game. Captain Will I totally have Mickey’s Christmas Carol on VHS from when my grandma got it for me for Christmas about 18 years ago, and it still works. As for all of the non-Twilight fans, I can see where there can be some issues with not liking the book, it gravitates on the end of a love story more than an action packed vampire story, which can be off-putting for many male readers. For females though, who love sexual tension, I think this fits the bill quite nicely. I’m not going to say it is my favorite book, but it is a rather easy read, and I tend to be getting into it pretty easily. It ain’t no Chuck Palahniuk, but it will do.

Ghosted by Leigha @ 11/23/2008 2:17 PM EST

Captain Will: Ernest Saves Christmas has been a holiday staple in our house for years. Thank god I’m not the only weirdo out there (besides the ones in my family) who likes it. In fact, last year me, my mom and brother all bought the DVD as a gift to the other, so everyone ended up with a copy. We still laugh about that.

Ghosted by Cheetara @ 11/23/2008 2:46 PM EST

Cheetara and Captain Will, Ernest Saves Christmas was and still is one of my family’s favorite Christmas movies. There is just something about it, its held up well beyond the 80s. (I met Jim Varney at a baseball game once when I was little!)

Ghosted by crazy_mainer @ 11/23/2008 3:01 PM EST

They began playing Christmas music at my job a little over a week ago. Blurgh. I really would have preferred to hold off on any X-mas tunes until after Thanksgiving like I did last year.

Jingle All the Way is an AWESOME movie! How can it not be cool?

Ghosted by Cameron T. @ 11/23/2008 4:23 PM EST

Captain Will: I had a simillar expeirence a few years ago… my mom has been looking for Santa and the Three Bears since she was a little girl. I was in Wal-Mart with my grandma, and I just happened to look down… guess what DVD I saw for $2?
I have been waiting for Colbert Christmas since FOREVER! I’m so happy that it’s now on!
Dio and Lucas, I’m adding you (for Brawl)… AC on my list to Santa). My fc is actually a few comments up! Can’t miss it!

PlantMonster… Jingle All the Way is awesome! How can you not like it?
Is anyone going to watch Surivor Series today?

Ghosted by Aaron @ 11/23/2008 4:27 PM EST

Aaron: I’m ready for a challenge my good man! (I added you, what time zone you in so I can maybe try to catch you at reasonable hours; I’m pacific time).

I started my rotating x-mas wallpaper collection for my laptop at the start of the month. I’m not that desperate for christmas am i? XD Also, my sister, whom is working at Urban Outfitters as a manager, is looking to score me not only the new Playmobile advent calendar (the santa one, not the other one, cuz this year’ they’re doing 2 again), but the Nativity scene with the blonde haired Mare that died from a bomb, then was resurrected as a baby Jesus got eaten by Waiterbot’s giant cat.

God. That description was like 10 times more coherent in my head, but that have been from the echoing.

Ghosted by Dio and Lucas @ 11/23/2008 4:50 PM EST

Dio and Lucas, I’m Pacific Time also! Ready when you are! I’ll get on right now!
