maybe it’s just because i’m an 80′s fan,but i feel that almost any 80′s teen movie is a good sick movie,especially movies like “secret admirer”,can’t buy me love”,”the new kids” and any similar movies(can’t foget “porky’s”)..being sick and watching anything with molly ringwald ties nicely together

i watch saving private ryan whenever i have the flu. like yesterday. because i have it now. cept now its all bluray super quality on a projector lying on a plush leather couch the same color as the laser. the tech and surroundings have changed, my flu is the same.

i may drag myself outside later to buy black hawk down for filler.

Flu movie ~ the Evil Dead and Ghost Busters or One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. I remember painting my old beat up Hot Wheels dinky cars with at least 10 coats of different colours and the oil paint I used would stick onto my skin for at least 2 to 3 years.

Popcorn in a tin is hilarious, something I’d give as a wedding present though rather than Christmas!

As far as sick days go, I will usually curl up and enjoy my all time favorite movie, The Burbs, or a perennial fave, Army of Darkness. Hell, I watch those flicks for any reason, but when I’m sick, they heal me. I don’t know how or why, but I try not to question things of the awesome. As far as TV shows for flu days : The Simpsons (season 2), and Married With Children(seasons 7-10)

As for the popcorn tin: AWESOME! I love those. Especially the butter popcorn….mmmmmmmm

I have watched Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure on at least 80% of the days that I have stayed home from school, for sickness or otherwise. And, I played hooky a LOT (our school was catastrophically bad.)
