And I heard that the MK characters and the DC villains would have fatalities in the MK/DC game, but the heroes would have “brutalities.”

Can’t wait for this year’s advent calendar. I admit I was a “skimmer” through them as well when I first started reading a few years back. Last year I had to read every entry, hence my love for Knacks grew…

I never made the Quaker/Quakers connection either.

As much as I’m slowly becoming a huge gamer, I’ve never been too good at fighting games, but I really enjoy playing them. I always sucked at all the MK games except for the 2nd one, which is the only one I’ve ever owned. I just picked Raiden and practiced like crazy with him till I got really good. I got good playing as Julia in Tekken 3 as well. It was the only character I could do anything with for some reason. That’s what I do with them. I just zero in on one character, get good at that one, and ignore the rest.

I have to make a confession. I’ve never played a Soul Calibur game or a Street Fighter game. Not one. I know that’s crazy, but I just never got round to it. I would like to check them out though to see what the big deal is. I’ve heard Street Fighter 2 is supposed to be one of the best fighting games ever.

I do really want MK vs. DC though. Mostly cause it looks pretty fun and I’m a huge Batman nerd and I’m all for anything that will give me an excuse to play as Batman wooping up on The Joker.

In other news, I had a pretty rad job interview today. I’m not getting too excited just yet but I think I made a pretty good impression and I might have a good shot at it. Just waiting on that phone call now.

And Kilik isn’t impossible to beat. you just have to have a fast character who can get up close, because he gets shut down pretty fast when you’re in his face. Talim for the win.. although I’ve been getting better with Taki. Ninja-style!
