Also, not sure if Matt’s from behind the magic curtain (or if others think this is a good idea…) would it make sense to put a clickable box on the main page (possibly near “xmas knacks” box for myspace) that leads to the box 23 thread? Not like Matt isn’t busy enough already keeping us all so enthralled ..but just a suggestion if he’s got the time (and others think it’s a good idea too)…

You know part of the fun of this is the way one can never predict when the advent updates come, it may be updated the previous night, it may be updated the next night. Heck, I remember some days last year when we didn’t get an update at all.

Divechaz, problem is that the thread changes so often. Hoever if Matt was to start using tags or categories in WordPress, he could feasibly set the link to an archive page just to category “Box 23″.
By the way, having listened to the whitenoise.mp3, I believe it’s more likely to be audio of the giant crab monster attack on the mansion.
whitenoise.mp3 is a 1:06 minute file. It starts with thunder and rainstorm leading in to police sirens. Weird sound at 10 second mark, lasting about a second and a half (perhaps a ‘roar’). Gunshot at 29.5 second mark, followed by female screaming and “Arcano Laugh” at 31.5 overlapping screaming. By 38 second mark, screaming and laughing have ceased, return to sirens. At around 50 second mark, sound (roar?) leading to more screaming , gunshots starting from 53 seconds.
So, what I reckon is that the weird noise is the throaty bellow, heard clearer at the later stage, of the giant crabs. The thunder is because it was just a rough night. The screaming was just everyone terrified. The gunshots and sirens were futile attempt to stop giant crabs. The Arcano laughing was him behind the scenes manipulating events.
I wanna make techno remixes of these clips. XD I’m insane.
I should have taken a pic w/ the tent box. It was BIG. And i wanted to buy the clown guy, but I was sadly low on cash. They also had pimp santa hats. Hella tight. XD
Guise, I do believe whitenoise is a good opening to a horror movie flick. XD

is it just me, or did James Lipton seem a bit cranky and mean when he and Waiterbot were picking up the present that looks like a barbeque? also, the mysterious clown’s actions seem like a kid at preschool likeing some girl, but when she looks at him, he darts behind a tree…what did I just say, exactly?

I think that the background of arcano.info is what the alignment of the stars and planets is supposed to be when summoning Arcano. it’s a stretch, but we all know that the Advent Calendar has the effect to make people crazy.

Close look: When Random Chicken Leg Holding Guy is talking to Kuse, from picture to picture, you can see that Kuse moves a little.
Oh, he’s in there alright. And he’s gotta pee sometime or another.
maybe those “puberty” hairs that were growing on Kuse at the end of last year have seeped into his armor, and is restricting his movement functions…nah, Matt isn’t that gross a guy.

Well, we now have our first “official” (as in someone acknowledge his presence) appearance of Munrab the Clown. Gotta wonder how he’s gonna fit in to the rest of this. Wasn’t there some mention of Beelzebub in the early runup to this thing? Or was that just the dohopoki.com thing that got us all confused?

I think what we also have is some validation of the “Demon in Disguise” by Santa-X alluding to the traitor. I think the song clue is telling us that he’s not just bullshitting Hssxxllo. What we need is more details about the giant crab attack, to see who was in a position to help the bad guys.

You know, the whitenoise mp3 sounds like the beginnings of a giant monster attack. The first low roar of the monster, followed by sirens and the sound of a crowd screaming and running. The “gunshots” could actually be the sound of the creature stomping or emerging from something….
In my mind, this whole thing culminates in someone dressed as a gaint bunny doing battle with someone dressed as a giant clown while they lay waste to a toy circus, but that just where my mind always goes…as odd as that is.
