ask Hare if there is an abundance of Coconut Crabs where her and Claire’s secret base is, and if she knows anything about anyone Leviathan might have banished to a far away dimension a long time ago.

divechaz, I’d go with asking about Arcano more than anything else. Barnum is from Hssxxlllo, Arcano is referenced in Amalthean culture, so at least she’d know something.
Still, even if Arcano is mentioned to her, I don’t believe Hare would be holding all the threads; if anything, there even might be a chance that Claire could be holding back information and that maybe Claire might know about Arcano (but, of course, the only way to talk with Claire is with Hare, and who knows if that’s gonna fly).
Divechaz, you can try to ask about what’s going on with them, but there’s no way that she’d spill everything (if anything). Maybe ask about Claire. See where that goes.

O_O What set is that from, Jen? That’s downright frightening!

It’s from the new Ghost Pirate range, which is unfortunately only going to be available in Germany for now. I really want the ghost pirate ship to go with my regular one so that I can finally act out the first Monkey Island game through the medium of Playmobil.
HOT DAMN, those lucky Germans. I want that set! Ghost pirates, that’s like all the neat things rolled into one tasty package. I mean, the glow-in-the-dark skeleton cannon-thing is like every boy’s fantasy. Hell, its mine….I wannnnnnit!

Its like Playmobil asks Matt what he wants to do for the Advent Calendar and is like “Giant crab and evil pirate guy two pack? you got it!”
they have a M’nM store and a Dave and Busters at Times Square here in NYC, but no giant Playmobil store.

We used to have an FAO Schwarz down in San Francisco many moons ago, and I recall going once as a young tot. I don’t remember it now, and it saddens me that I’ll really have no chance of going to one while I’m still young. *sigh* When the Toys R Us down the street from me closed, I nearly had a fit. I’m not driving 30 minutes out of my way to get free pokemon from TRU. …..Yeah….I will.
Playmobile should totally use Matt for advertising (cha-right, what with the adult themes of Waiterbetty’s shinanigans). I’ve bought more stuff from PM in the last 5-6 years because of XE than in my whole life.

I was pissed when the FAO in NYC was closed for rennovations (for months, none the less), but it opened, and now it’s just cool (though I’ll still have memorys of the clock thing and the elevator…ah well, at least they have vintagely-disigned toys and a giant candy section)

Man, you’re lucky. I feel like my childhood’s being systematically replaced by Starbucks, Lee’s Sandwiches and frozen yogurt shops. Matt had some neat articles on the FAO in NYC. Something about furbies and Hello Kitty or something. XD I guess I’ll always have….Target…..Oh man, I’m sad. XD;;;

dang you, Execs who want to replace cool things (the toy stores of our youth) with stores that sell coffee and clothes! it’s the same thing with all the cartoons of yesteryear and the cartoons of today!

I personally subscribe to the theory that Barnum (I use this term to refer to the unknown clown) is a friend that will seem like an enemy at first. He probably knows the true nature of Arcano, or at the very least a way to stop it, but the bright colors and ridiculous costume will scare the crew at first.
They are tense and waiting the first signs of danger every XMAS season anyway, you’re telling me they would instantly trust a clown strolling up to them out of nowhere? A clown who seems to know something about the madness happening around them? Real world or otherwise, NOBODY trusts clowns – especially not clowns with chaos theories.
Friend or Foe indeed!
