Well, there’s Mare… and Claire, and Hare and Cher, and MegaMare who is Mare’s mum, and Box- who is Mare’s son.
Perhaps Munrab is the fabled father of all Mares. I could picture that being the case, especially with all th clues given so far.

You know, While Mista Snowman is watching the cap’n crunch commercial, Santa walks up and Mista Snowman says something about Barney trying to trick Fred by pretending to be Santa. Could this be a clue that Santa is not what he seems?

MegaMare, I believe, was a regular Mare that was “supersized” by Mare magic. (Claire’s wand and a magic spellbook, if I recall correctly.) That being said, (and I know this topic has kind of been beaten to death already, but…) could Munrab be our poor wayward Mysterious Boy? He did go crazy and we never really found out what his deal was. He could have been part Mare.

Maybe Hare and Claire wanted to get Santa on the good guys’ good side, so they put the zombies in box 8 and put Santa nearby to kill them and become a hero
Sorry to DP, but I should clarify. we never knew what MegaMare would have been originally because Mare upgraded her whil still in the box. I’m just assuming it was a Mare that our Marepowered up, and not, like, a table or something.

Elephant to Lioness: “They suspect something, we are all in danger. But the clown is now behind bars. Time to advance to stage two.”
Lioness to Zebra: “Elephant says they are subjected to bling, we are all in a manger. Put the frown under the yard. Time for advice from stern shoe.”
Zebra to Boa Constrictor: “Lioness says they were scuba diving, no more wire hangers. Pat the hound in the leotard. The teachers are going to crack any minute purple monkey dishwasher.”
Boa Constrictor to Hare & Claire: “Look, the message got really fucked up and unintelligible because we’re stupid animals. I got nothing for you. You wanna just go ahead and handergize me now and get it over with? I don’t really mind. I have nothing to live for really, I can only eat twice a year and I don’t have any god damned feet.”
from what I can see, maybe the clown a long time ago killed every circus member and audience member after doing some ritualistic ceremony to get more power that drove him insane, and now he’s killing off the animals because they’re part of the circus.
also, on a side note, can the raccoon’s cuteness compare with…this?!
The animals are up to no good. They seek to release Santa-X in exchange for the gift of speech. With Munrab out of the picture, the primary obstacle to this is removed. NOW things get interesting.

I’m with DocDragon: Munrab is on our side. As I said earlier, the blockhead demons were sacrificed to legitimize Santa. And Munrab is on to him and those evil fucking circus animals.
And by the way Morfblorsh, I was cracking up at the telephone game!!! So awesome.
Is it possible the animals are using telepathy? Well, the circus animals, anyway. And maybe Munrab IS bad … but he’s also against Claire and Hare. Perhaps the animals are spies for C&H, and Munrab was taking them out, not as a favour to The Gang, but as a favour to himself, to protect his circus. I think it’s safe to say the clown was always at the circus, so it’s likely he doesn’t appreciate intruders. Then again, our heroes have been in the circus a long time now, and he hasn’t gone apeshit on any of the actual people, so … God, I dunno. I’m rambling.
If anyone is around, Box23.wikia.com is up and running. I’ve gone ahead and tried to set up some main articles that are ready to be filled in and am working on some more templates. Exciting stuff!

Good news everybody! 2 weeks at my new job and they have yet to fire me! LOL. I told them it is their fault for saying “see you tomorrow” b/c o keep showing up!
Anyway, sorry I have ben so MIA. Cant I at least be an honorary Advent-urer? Give me a little bit to catch up and I’ll see if i can help out at all.
I wonder if HU himself will be helping us out with the clues this year.

Mista Snowman is not made of coconut shavings. Or at least he wasn’t when he got melted in a microwave. I suppose when Santa magiced him back, he could have transformed him into coconut as a precaution. Not that that would help in a repeat of the microwave incident.
However, I consider it likely that if Mista Snowman was made of delicious coconut, Waiterbot would have eaten him by now, just for kicks.
So either Knacks was being facetious. Oh, oh my. What am I thinking. Santa would know who Mista Snowman is. Santa’s and Snowmen are like Christmas Magic brothers. Knacks was testing him!!!! We have a fake Santa on our hands.
Maybe you are correct Arkenor. I don’t know why he would leave everyone if thats the case though. Maybe he wants to stop the trouble at its source. Who knows. I am on board with the thought that maybe Munrab may not be such a bad guy now too, so I am not sure what to think at this point.
Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription.. is more cowbell Advent Calendar.

It looks like Claire is holding a website url in her hand in today’s advent (pic #30)… Anyone have any idea what it is and/or whatnot and/or what-have-you?
Great observation, Niz, I’m trying to see what I can make out on that piece of paper. Btw, is it me or has this thread suddenly gone quiet? Where are all the other box 23′ers?

I have been playing with that partial web address for a while, but I have not achieved a thing at this point. We can see the BE____ACY.com clearly. One Across hasn’t been any help though. It appears that there is a dot before BE____ACY. It appears to be a V or a Y prior to the dot, but that doesn’t fit any of the current websites we know. I’m at a loss. Maybe we’ll get another clue to figure it out.

Just a note: the last pic of today’s advent (the flashing one) is titled “claire.” Or more specifically:
I think we’re going to see some kind of realization by Hare that Claire is too crazy and/or evil even for them to associate with. It will be similar to the situation that occurred between HU and Hare when HU defected, but with a much worse outcome.
No turning to goodness will occur, no sirs and ma’ams, only death will come of this. Death and sadness.
In other events as predicted by my currently-fevered brain:
Tiny Raccoon will discover and unleash adorable and devastating stripey-tail energy. After which he will wash his hands before eating the corpses he creates.
I’ve never said “Awwwww!!!” while vomiting in terror before, but I’d better start practicing.
Claire might not be patient enough, for Hare. In addition the new boss seems to have chosen Claire as the go to villain, and Hare usually likes to be top bunny! Wonder when/if they will have a parting of the ways?
check the alignment. “Be” and “acy” don’t actually line up on the paper. It just appears that way.

FM, you might want to recheck the alignment. Be and acy aren’t actually next to each other, they only appear that way the way she is holding it. So far I have:

*.Be___.com
.com_____ay
The asterixes above are letters that can be seen but not identified. The blanks cannot be seen at all. I believe the website is Be***.com by the spacing of the letter. I think only three letters can fit between the Be and the .com.

The big bold letters at the bottom totally look like the Best Buy font.
It looks like some kind of fine print from a Best Buy contract, to be honest.
