Since I work at one of the largest Halloween stores in Canada, I can say that working during the week before Halloween is not fun. People get very upset over their costumes and and the noise of the toys/excitement can get irritating after a few hours.

The Toys R Us toy catalog is cool. Not as cool as the Sears catalog from our childhoods. I remember a store, Arden, their catalogs
were incredible. Catalogs back then went out. I love the Star Wars
and G.I. Joe displays. I’m glad some of the original G.I. Joe
vehicles made a comeback.

Congrats darkside, ps- make sure you elope, because weddings are awful and im so glad mine is over with, every time someone asks me about it, i wince in pain and then cry for about 2 hours.

We hit two of the local Halloween stores today — I’m going as a flapper — easily gothed-out if we decide to go the RHPS route Friday. Husband hasn’t decided for sure yet. I’m just happy to have found something! The pickins were slim, as they say.
