Cameron: If it wasn’t for this site, I wouldn’t be into Halloween at all. About as far as I ever with the holiday are my annual viewings of “Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown”, “Garfield’s Halloween” and whatever other Halloween special I managed to find myself watching. Heck, if I didn’t go on Leave and go home over Christmas, I don’t think I would even celebrate the holiday outside of listening to a few Christmas albums (especially John and the Muppets, “A Christmas Together” a holiday tradition dating back to my childhood) and watching as many specials as I can.

Matt, matey, you’ve got me so geared up for Halloween and the Countdown that it’s all me mother can do to keep me from hoisting up the spooky lights and running out the rest of me Halloween decorations.
And if that weren’t enough, I’m so excited about this years Advent-ure that I wish it were December already. Last year was me first, and I managed to catch up on all the older calendars by the 5th so I’d know what the devil was going on. I’ve been missing me mateys Knacks, Mista Snowman, and James Lipton ever since.
Yer a genius, me bucko! And might I add it’s a pleasure to sail under ye, sir!

did you know you can watch almost any wrestling ppv for free on youku.com? i’ve been watching all the classic royal rumble and wrestlemania shows from the early 80′s all week… i miss 80′s and early 90′s pro wrestling when it was still fun.. theyre so serious now… it sucks…
I have to work on Halloween and we have costume restrictions because I’m a dealer at a casino so I’m going to go as a policeman…

BJ Every year I watch It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and Garfield’s Halloween Special. I started a new tradition last year to watch a movie that other people consider a classic but I just haven’t seen it yet. I have a copy of the Worst Witch on my computer that I am going to watch with our friend Billy when he comes to visit (if it’s before Halloween)
I think after the Halloween Countdown starts I am going to take it upon myself to post any link on Joox.net that is a scary movie especially an older movie. I will also mention any movie on tv that other people forget to mention. Toon Disney sometimes shows older cartoons so maybe I will get a chance to watch some older Holiday cartoon specials on that channel.
Ed122 I have tried them they are pretty good. I don’t like Oreos enough to sit down and eat more then 8 or so. But that was a good idea for them to come up with.

These generic SNTs really mess me up. I lack imagination, and therefore need guidance from a faceless overlord like X-E Matt to tell me what to think about. Give me a topic, wind me up, and watch me go. Generic SNT? I get all antsy in the pantsy like I’m full of breakfast syrup.
I dont know WHAT I want to be for Halloween this year. I have a vague idea, something fairy-like but the I haven’t found a costume I really LIKED yet, although I already have my wings from two or three years ago, big black sparkly things. My father usually drives me and my two kids around town to see all the people he knows (which takes about four hours lol) on Halloween night so he can show off their costumes but this year he has to work so I’m not sure what we’re going to do. My house is kind of “hidden” (being in-town but on an obscure dead end) so we probably won’t get much in the way of trick or treaters.
My daughters are both being tinkerbell (that’s what they wanted) so being a fairy is not a far leap from that… I’m guessing there’s going to be tons of Tinkerbells this year, judging by all the merchandise in prep for the Tink movie next month.
As for decorating, I’ve been raiding Wal-mart’s one dollar stuff and have some cool windsocks and door coverings. And some of that black and pumpkin garland. I did ghosts last year and no one knew what it was, but you can’t mistake black garland with bright orange grinning jack o lanterns hanging off of it (I hope).

Considering being a generic 90′s kid as a contestant on Wild & Crazy Kids, as I recently got the red team shirt. Throw on some Zubaz shorts and a lime green hat and I’ll be good to go.
I do have a story about generics. Some friends and I went on a road trip through Georgia some years ago, where many things happened, including the collecting of Dr. Products – regional generic Dr Pepper sodas. We had Dr. Pig, Dr. Wow!, Dr. Whatever, Dr. Stars & Stripes, etc. There was a taste test event at the end of this tour and the original is still king.
I really appreciate when supermarket chains come up with their own clever names for their generics. The “No Frills” line of products wins points for its minimalist style, but my heart belongs to a stupid name on a pillow sized bag of cereal on the bottom shelf any day.
have alot of people started decorating? i still have some goodies to pick up, so i will probably start next week.

Too bad Matt is really shy I am watching Chris Crocker on his stickam account. He is watching Cruel intentions showing the screen instead of his face (he shows his face too, he can switch it back and forth) and he gives sparse commentary. That would be SO COOL for our movie nights!! Yes I like Chris Crocker don’t judge me. I guess me being a lesbian is an excuse.
Have you ever JUST MISSED the garbage man? I just did I was staring at him drive off right after I rushed my garbage to the curb. We won’t have too much of a crisis it’s just nice to know that our trash can is emptied once a week.

Apparently Walgreens sells liquid cherry flavored candy that comes in little bags that look like blood transfusion bags and it tastes awful. The display is a small IV rack. Awesomeness. I really like the gummy tarantulas they sell at Walmart for a dollar. I want to buy two of them but only right before Billy comes over. Yes I am obsessed don’t judge me.
Oh, I got it alright. I was playing cool myself. What you didn’t see was that I had to splash cold water on my face and call all my friends squealing before I could post that nonchalant reply. Meanwhile I was going nuts like Columbia does when Eddie rides into the mansion on his motorcycle.
Let’s have some Dr. Pig. It’ll make us all feel better.

I don’t know if the “What do you want to be for halloween” survey is done…seeing as i have been without power and such…..but I am going as The Monarch from the Venture Brothers. My fiancee (who will then be my husband for two weeks) is either going as Dr. Girlfriend (which would be absolutely grotesque) or as one of the henchmen (this is the alternative that I favor)
