Shauncho. What about a coffin with a zombie coming out of it!

@nosna: I have actually thought about that! I am still pretty new to making things I have thought about buying some of those bucky skulls off the internet and using paper mache to make some corpses.
I swear I think we decorate as much at Halloween as we do at Christmas!
I just got back from picking up some supplies for my first-annual Halloween party. Now I just need some local friends. Ha.
I bought my very first inflatable yard thing. Normally I think they’re really trashy, but I couldn’t pass up Home Depot’s 4′ Grim Reaper. It’s unobtrusive and will make me smile by staying in the back yard where no one driving by will see it. I swear I won’t light up my house with gaudy yard art.
I really wanted the skull lights that play the “Halloween” movie theme, but some girl shoved me aside and grabbed the last two sets. Ah well.
I got my girlfriend sucked into the Ace Attorney series for the Nintendo DS. She’s nearly done with the first Phoenix Wright game. I just finished the second one and started on the third.
She even went out and bought her own DS so she wouldn’t have to steal mine. This is a woman who hated video games before. The Wii and the DS have completely turned her around.
Shauncho, I know the feeling. I decorate just as much for halloween as I do Christmas. You could also make some headstones with creepy names on them…and have hands coming out of the ground!!! i also enjoyed yards with that in the front.

@nosna: We are definitely gonna make a small graveyard on our front lawn this year! I am so excited for Halloween! My wife and I went to Michael’s today and they had all kinds of awesome stuff. I think she wants to start collecting the Spookytown village.
Wooo Halloween season. I actually have my costume already picked out this year. I’m gonna be a redneck football fan. I just gotta pick up some Zubaz on ebay…
I don’t know yet what I’ll do for Halloween. Last year the woman and I went as a generic 50s couple (think letterman jacket and poodle skirt… not on the same person though).
We were thinking of having our engagement party in a few weeks (oh yeah, we just got engaged a few weeks back, go us!) so maybe we can just make it a joint engagement/Halloween shindig. It’s gonna be an 80s Prom theme, which should be awesome.
I’m definitely excited about having my second ‘real’ (Stateside) Halloween. It just isn’t a big deal in Australia.
Goob: It ain’t random! I be doin’ me diplomatic duty to try and end the Ninja/Pirate Cold War over the internets…
On second thought, screw em! Ninja’s should be stealthy and invisible, so if they don’t like it they can bloody well disappear!
You see, I dress like a pirate all the time, so dressing up like a pirate for Halloween would be just like me getting dressed in the morning, so I can’t very well do that. I dunno, I always think of something roundabout October 29th.
I just realized, I first started lurking around X-E just about a year ago, give or take a couple of weeks. It be me first X-Enaversary! Drinks be on the Cap’n tonight!
i’m not even sure how i’m going to spend Saturday night yet.. – guess that’s something I should probably figure out.. – maybe i’ll watch some Sonic X and get out the Play-Doh..
What’s with the crappy blog posts? You get supplemented for your website with advertising, Matt. And what do we get? Crap blog posts these days.

Me? I’m going as Anton Chigurh from “No Country for Old Men.” I’ve been growing out the hair, and the rest should like as itself.
Barring that, Plan B is Dr. Forrester from MST3K. The only problems would be obtaining a green lab coat, green-rimmed glasses, and someone to be TV’s Frank.
Plan C is tracking down one of those “This IS My Costume!” shirts and going as Sarcasm.
I really want to create a graveyard in my front yard complete with zombies in various stages of coming out of the ground. It’s our first Halloween in our new home and I need to get the neighbors in the spirit. We’re also talking about trying to start a neighborhood “BOO” since it’s never been done around here. DC – Get lots of rest, sleep as much as possible tomorrow, and feel better soon!!!
That’s NOT me who made that post above. There is ONLY ONE ULTRAMAN, and he is PANTSLESS!!!!!!! =D

Pretty active tonight. Good show.

I’m dressing as a referee for Halloween. I’m o excited! I’m ready to start decorating my place!
Saint- Thanks. I don’t know for sure if I’m going to get sick, but my throat was slightly sore today. I can’t rest up too much tomorrow because I have football to watch!
I think I might go as a scarecrow with a scary jack o lantern head. Like jack skellington in the nightmare befor christmas.

I was thinking about just going around with a really long straw and repeatedly threatening “I drink your milkshake… I drink it up!”
Actually, I think I want to dress up like Domo-kun for Halloween. I spent 20 minutes the other night looking at all of the Domo stuff at Target – I think he’s awesome! kb – I can totally hear that – thanks for getting that stuck in my head

Unfortunately it seems like everything this year for girls is a “sexah” something or other. I should sell out and go as a sexah Freddy.

Hooray for halloween stuff. Though you did already get an awesome early start, your halloween updates are always the best. And right after that, all the thanksgiving and christmas stuffs. Three cheers for X-Entertainment. After all these years it’s just become part of my holiday season routine.

As of next Saturday this will be the most visited site ever!! Let the All Hallows Eve Countdown Party Begin!!

I think I’ve reached the point where I now enjoy Halloween only through this site. I have no plans to dress up, and Halloween is usually pretty dead in my neighborhood (no pun intended) with last year’s sum total of zero trick-or-treaters. I don’t know anyone who’s planning a party and even if I were invited, I don’t know that I would go (I always end up feeling like leaving way before everyone else). On the plus side, the grocery store down the street puts a ton of Halloween candy for sale. That’s all that really does it for me.

Unlike last year, this year’s Halloween enthusiasm doesn’t feel forced. What a relief! Break out the jukebox and let’s hit the cornrow maze.
I am sooooo excited about Halloween season, just hope the enthusiasm continues til Oct. 31! Usually I am geared up for Halloween the 1st of August, but I have been restraining myself from buying anything or viewing anything remotely Halloween-y! I am ready for the deluge of X-E Halloween goodness!

Oh and my costume choice this year- Rosalie or Alice Cullen.
Ghosted by crazy_mainer @ 09/14/2008 12:33 AM EDT
I want to go as someone from Trailer Park Boys, but since I’m the only one I know who has even heard of that show, nobody would get the reference. Bummer.

Yes, SNT! And thanks to whoever decided to define it up there for the newbies…we can’t forget them.
This Halloween, I’m planning on hanging out in costume with my friend from Miami in the French Quarter, probably in the Faubourg Marigny (on the edge of the Quarter, not far from Bourbon Street). That costume, so far, will be Alice Cooper. I was inspired by the inlay picture on his newest greatest-hits CD, which is of him in the ’70s applying his infamous eye makeup.
Yarr, just finished watching The Midnight Hour on Youtube. Anybody seen it? It’s a great made-for-tv Halloween movie from 1985, and it’s got Lavar Burton in it too. Check it out if you want something to get you in the spirit of Halloweeny things!
Hi, y’all! I would just like to say, in honor of the season, I, too, purchased a box of Frankenberry. While that may seem like no big to some, where I live Frankenberry has always been poor as hen’s teeth. Now, I’m look forward to to its sweet, sugary goodness.

One good thing about Super Wal-Mart is they sell the monsters cereal year round. But it’s so crowded I usually don’t go there much.
Man I need some holloween love. I just got kicked of my favorite podcast on ustream for typing 4chan in reference to the anonymous vs scientology dust up. Oh well live and learn. But lets bring on the horror! shall we?
I am SO tired!!!! my new job at night, where I call people and ask then to participate in survey’s about politics and crap. Friggin 5 til midnite…bc we mostly call the midwest and california

Fox, your girl could always be Dot Matrix from Spaceballs.
and crazy_mainer, Rosalie or Alice? Basically you’re… a teenager with fangs?
I love the Twilight series, but it has the problem that Buffy did.. basically, they look like normal people.
Me? I’m turning my Hells’ Belle costume into a fairy dress! Yay Disney Halloween party!
Ghosted by Cat the Vampire Slayer @ 09/14/2008 2:19 AM EDT
skull lights that play the “Halloween” movie theme…
Where pray tell where these at? I must have them…at any and all cost.
Just got back from seeing F13:3D in actual 3D!!! I never had so much fun in my life!

I guess basically a lame Twilight costume would include brown contacts and a wig. Guess I better re-think my costume ideas. Last year I went with the white-out contacts for that Moonlight vampire look. I was just trying to work my way through all the vampire looks. Hmmm I guess I do a slutty black leather outfit with blue contacts and fangs for Underworld type of vamp?
Ghosted by crazy_mainer @ 09/14/2008 3:55 AM EDT
Could I have photos of you as the underworld vampire?
I think i’ll go as the jack-o-lantern scarecrow. The more i think about it, the more i want to do it. Plus, lookin at pictures of jack skellington in that getup only increases my need to do it.

I’m going as Johnny from the Karate Kid after his match with Daniel. A black eye and a silver medal.

I think I’ll enjoy the Countdown next Summer/Early September if I’m getting psyched up for Halloween next year. In July, I couldn’t resist, and now my spirit is about to wind down…I’m trying to save it, but most of me is ready for Christmas. I have to resist!

Nifty! I used up my Halloween spirit ealy last year and I have diligently upheld a Halloween moratorium until this weekend, I’m glad to hear that X-E/Matt is about to jump in to the pool. I saw the play Sweeney Todd last night at a local famous theatre (Barter Theatre) and it was fantastic! I realized that I had never seen a live musical before. They did a really good job. It has really jump started my spirit this year. My annual freudguy household Halloween film festival begins tonight! Much to the chagrin of my wife….

Very much looking to the Halloween jukebox again, kid. And get a haircut.

Yay, I love the start of Halloween time on X-E! My first intro to the site was reading the review of “The Worst Witch,” which I bought on VHS years ago. Matt was spot on with that one- crazy Tim Curry bouncing around on an acid trip…
I’m planning on being Poison Ivy for Halloween. I’m a redhead, so it already works, but I’m going to be the Poison Ivy from Batman the Animated Series, not the movie. Uma Thurman looked kinda scary in that one…
