Laugh if you want, but it scared the hell outta me when I was seven, and to be honest, I still find the little gingerbread man eating bastards creepy.

There was an episode of “Tales from the Dark Side” called “In the Closet” where this creepy pale white monster with blood red eyes & claws was trying to kill/eat this girl who rented the room where the creature “lived”. Those gleaming red eyes still haunt me to this day. Terrifying episode right up to the end, (though the ending where the ::spoiler alert:: hotel owner hugged the creature since it was his daughter, was a little lame & took all the scariness out of it).

Hi, folks! Your ol’ pal kingklash here. Last time I was here, I had mentioned some problems with the internet provider the Gallery was using. Well, finally after a month-long mess, we’ll go with AT&T and be connected again this week sometime. While it’s been a relief not to read spam headers for dingdong pills, it sucks not to check The X on a regular basis. Boy, will I have a time clearing out the email, though. I’ll be back soon!

Jamie G, I had that Ronald McDonald doll! I forgot all about it...it didn't freak me out, though. CMJ, I once saw Alice Cooper on the Muppet Show and he scared the crap out of me. From then on, everytime I watched The Muppet Show, I sat right by the tv waiting to hear who the host was so I'd know if I needed to change the channel. Jan the Man, I'd rather Christopher Walken host it myself.

Chucky… because of that S.O.B. my Patty Play Pal doll & I had a verrrry short friendship.

Also clowns and the circus after watching this terrible true life mystery show one easter. It was all about this catastrophic circus fire where one unidentified body was christened by the toe tag number. Fast foward 3 years to when I am in 6th grade, where one day in class I was forced to read a more grown up version of Weekly Reader magazine, whose cover story was ALL about this fire & the unidentified body… complete with pictures. I still remember the bleeping title “The Day the Clowns Cried.” I totally freaked out!

even if i end up being last…

when i was very little, i had a toybox that i was afraid of. it was yellow, shaped like a gumdrop, had big googly eyes and red yarn hair. it opened like a big mouth. his name was Tipples and my parents had to throw a blanket over him every night. during the day i loved him, it was like having my own muppet.
