07/01/2008: X-E’s ‘08 Summer Megaparty: Otter Pops.

Welcome to X-Entertainment’s ill-prepared 2008 Summer Megaparty: Your special hub for all kinds of summery goodness and stuff. THE RULES ARE SIMPLE! I hereby vow to post at least once a day for the entire month of July…possibly longer if I don’t hate writing by August.

I honestly have no idea what I’m going to write about this month. Like, no clue at all. I had a few ideas for semi-special blog posts that have been rattling around my head for the past few months, but for the most part, I’m totally gonna wing this. Meaning? I’m probably going to end up living by the letter of the law and not the spirit. All I said was that I would post everyday. I didn’t say what I would post. If I sketch a retarded penguin on a bank deposit slip, scan it and publish it, I’ve technically made good on my promise.

I’ll try not to do that, though. Not often, at least.

I guess I didn’t do much to pump you up for the month to follow with what’s written above, and in a case such as this, I turn to a reliant, rushed graphic to do the hard sell.

Are you excited now? At least a little more? Good. I worked really hard on finding the right picture of a watermelon.

I’m happy to do the Megaparty, because I’m not sure I’d stay conscious of the fact that it’s even summertime without it. Summer definitely loses its status as “favorite season” as you grow older, when it becomes indicative of nothing more than a change in climate. That’s a far cry from the lost days of having two months to do nothing but play tag and trick your friends into stepping on dog shit.

I don’t expect that too many of the Megaparty’s posts will be actively seasonal, because if I had to inject sunshine into every entry, I wouldn’t just go bananas…I’d turn into one. I would transform into a giant banana, and this isn’t good for any of us because bananas cannot write, let alone work a computer. Still, expect a fair share of entries that at least nominally persuade you to make the most of your summer, even if all you’re really doing is eating popsicles when they’re in season.

I was surprised to find boxes of Otter Pops on sale at a local pharmacy. We’ve never had Otter Pops around these parts, and my only prior experience with their icy, sugary glories was at my brother’s family’s former house somewhere in Jersey. They had like seven thousand Otter Pops stacked in a garage freezer with positively no explanation given. I should’ve investigated this, but I guess I was more about eating Otter Pops than finding out why they had seven thousand of them. It’s hard to connect criminal activity to Otter Pops, when you have 7,000 of ‘em tucked away in a hidden freezer, the reason likely isn’t appropriate for children of all ages.

Though I was quick to grab a box and make the embarrassing stroll up to the pharmacy cashier with nothing but Otter Pops and a pack of Bic pens in my fluorescent handcart, I don’t have the nostalgic attachment to these things that so many others probably do. To me, they’re just Fla-Vor-Ices with pool dick and kooky characters on the condoms.

As a child, my favorite Fla-Vor-Ice (or any similar brand of icy pop things) colors were red and green. While I indeed preferred red for its actual flavor, it’s also true that I liked the way other colors tasted way better than green. Still, I always picked red or green, or both if nobody was looking. Simple reason why:

Red and green Fla-Vor-Ice pops were my own personal Vader and Luke lightsabers, new and improved with edibility. The similarity in color is truly remarkable. There are many shades of red and many shades of green, but somehow, red and green Fla-Vor-Ices are a Photoshop-dropper-match for Vader and Luke’s lightsaber colors. In a world full of ugly coincidences, it was nice to find one so beautiful.

PS: Longtime least favorite frozen icy pop color? Pink. Hate pink. Still don’t know what in the fuck it’s supposed to taste like. My running assumption’s been that food conglomerates sought to mimic the color and taste of that horrible liquid cure-all doctors force on children for every possible ailment. I still don’t know what it was named. I just called it “pink medicine,” typically with a frightened tone.

I liked the pink ones, but I agree that it tastes like medicine. Must be why I eat throat lozenges like candy.

Heck no! I’d usually go thru half of them before they were frozen! They were the best when they were in that slushy stage though.

My grandma used to buy Otter Pops in bulk from Sam’s Club. The green ones always caused me to have a coughing fit. My throat tickles thinking about it.

I don’t like ice, so I usually drink these, but only like one because they are insanely sweet in liquid form!

Now, I will occasionally partake in a Slurpee when my desire to down something neon overtakes my drive to avoid frozen things in my mouth.

I saw that 100 box of Otter Pops at Walmart but wasn’t too interested. I’d much rather have a nice Luigi’s Italian Ice. Anybody familiar with a way of folding up the empty Otters sleeve where you could pop it really loudly? I remember my pops teaching me once but I can’t recall exactly how you do it.

As soon as I ended a month of daily blogging, Matt starts anew! And it shall be awesome.

You really dont have Otter Pops up there? They all over the place down here in VA. We have many varieties of freeze pops.

ALRIGHT, SUMMER MEGA PARTY HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED. WHOOOO !!! =D I just woke up from a nap. I’d go back to sleep but I can’t right now. Oh well, I got to read the new post. =) I love those ice things too. Didn’t really have a fav when I was a kid, nor do I have one now. Theyr’e all pretty good.

Finer-ly, frequent updates. Though I’d prefer actual articles, I’m just going to have to accept X-E is in permanent retirement age and now exists as a blog, period.

I see Otter Pops all over the place around Portland, and I always have. And sure enough, they are most frequently seen jutting out of the mouths of children’s dirty faces in summer.

I’m still at the station as I write this. Finished up my show a little while ago and as I was packing up I decided I couldn’t wait till I got home to check in. Now here I am, got the station on auto pilot, and am enjoying the Mega-goodness. For the record, my least favorite flavor has always been blue. Blue?? What the hell flavor is that?

Speaking of Box 23, my prediction is there’s some meaning in the Penguin’s account number. You can’t tell me that’s random. Something tells me if I get stuck on a deserted island, I’m going to need to remember that particular sequence.

Ahhh yes Otter pops, a cheap way to enjoy your summer a little more. My favorite part is when it’s melted a little at the bottom because when that happens I suck the syrup through the ice and drink it. I don’t wait for that to happen it just happens. But then there is always plain ice when I am done that I throw away. Yes I suck that hard! :D I like all of them except Grape. I miss the LONG caractures of the characters along the tube. Nice signature Matt!

Your story about eating these at your brother’s house reminds me of an old lady I think it was my Grandma’s aunt or something we visited once. She was hard of hearing so bad she turned down the volume on the tv because she said what’s the point if you can’t hear it. Some of her grandkids went to visit her and do chores for her like pull weeds and stuff like that in her backyard. They asked for some disney popsicles that later she asked if I wanted one. I think I was the only one that went with my Grandma to go visit that time. Maybe my sister went too. But anyway the popsicles were the creamier kind that were shaped as disney characters like mickey and donald I think I only had them once or twice. I can’t remember if they had fruit juice in them or were artificial flavored. I wasn’t used to the decent popcicles just the otter pop style or the twin pop style because my Grandma is a cheapo. If anyone remembers those cool if not well it was nice telling the story.

I think I really need to get high on Otter Pops! The signs are all there. I blog about the pops, then I find another blogger who also wrote about the pops and now Matt starts off the Summer Mega Party with a post about the Otter Pops! It’s a sign I tell ya’!!!

Wow…I was JUST telling my wife about Otter Pops yesterday. Except…I was speaking of the flavored sugar water drinks made by the same company that was sold by the case at Sam’s Club. I wonder if they still make that. If I ever become diabetic, I’ll know who to blame (besides myself).

Rev. Pool dick refers to a mans penis shrinking in the cold water. And this analogy is artfully used to demonstrate that otter pops are short and stubby, whilst Fla-vor-ice are the long hard lean porn star pops.

Hurrah! Only a few short days until the Friday the 13th entry is bumped from the RSS feed. It was a good entry, but it’ll be nice to be able to check for updates without making the “ch ch ch ah ah ah” noise under my breath.

Oh, and if we’re doing the whole Box 23 thing, the file name of the Waiterbot photo refers to birgus latro, known to you and me and dear Aunt Maude as the terrifying coconut crab.

I was kind of grumpy this morining, but then I come into work and realize it’s the start of the MegaParty! To top it off, the first post is about one of my all-time favorite summer things! I must know if there are any Otter Pops in the Baltimore area. It would be awesome if I could find them before Friday so I could eat them whilst watching the fireworks. It’ll be like I’m 7 again!

So Waiterbot’s a coconut crab then? I thought he was, well, a robot. Heh, I like to read the adventure aloud and do the voice impressions (when other’s aren’t around of course, or just quietly when others are), and I’ve been making Waiterbot sound like the robotic voice reader on the old Macs.

Just judging from the heat it’s certainly time for the summer Megaparty. It’s so hot!

Here in Germany these things are called “Stangeneis” (Stick ice) and quite common around summer. We have some in our freezer but only lame white ones, I think. I like red best, too.

We never had Otter pops that I recall. Always had Flav-or-ice. Of course, I never had these, personally, at my house. No, my parents never bought those. I had eskimo pies and push-ups. Flav-or-ice was always when you went to some kids birthday party in the hot summer heat, and one of the parents had brought these things in a cooler, and of course by the time yours truly got HIS Flav-or-ice pop it was halfway melted already and just turned into a slushy sticky mess.

Yippie! Megaparty! I was so bummed out today because I got up and realized that I had nothing to do all day but stare at the wall. I’m 8 months pregnant, unemployed, and pretty much confined to the apartment because we are down to one car and the hubby is at work all day. There is tons of home improvements that need to be done-however I have been banned from doing those too. So today was looking pretty bleak until I remembered that it is JULY 1ST! Yay for Megaparty! I’m going to make the hubby go get me some Flav-or-ice tonight! I don’t know if we have Otter Pops here. Being preggo and coming to XE is bad for the pocketbook!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes.. Yes I realize 23 is not old at all, I am actually looking forward to turning 30 (hopefully with Ph.D in hand by then). At least I can count on the virtual community to send me birthday wishes (my mom I think has forgotten that it is my birthday…AGAIN!!!! I totally know how Molly Ringwald feels, and it will be the second year in a row. Hopefully she isn’t already slipping into mild dementia at the ripe old age of 50….but who knows at this point.

I have memories of Otter Pops but only at other people’s houses. And I think we drank them at room temperature. Anyway, one summer my Mom got caught up in the Juicing wave that hit the nation in the 80’s. She juiced everything. I can recall eating homemade frozen popsicles from her juicing experiments. There is a reason they don’t sell grapefruit popsicles.

Man, this is really cool. I love the summer megaparty. I’ve been a lurker on this site for years and only recently started posting. And as for the Otter Pops? Perfect way to get it started. I remember going through boxes of these a week as a kid during the hot Texas summers. My arch nemesis was the purple pop. It always seemed that there were more of these in the box, too.

Yay, the first Megaparty post. I know for a fact that I used to have Otterpops when I was little, but I haven’t seen them around here in a while. Every place that I shop at has Flav-or-ice.

I think these freezer pops, like many things, loose their childhood magic as you get older. Someone bought a box when I moved into my house and they are still in the freezer. Why? Because they all taste like “pink medicine” now.

Maybe I should melt one down and try it over ice; sounds like an interesting experiment.

I loved otter pops so much that I saved the UPC’s for months and sent in for a …Otter Pop Beach Towel!!! It was the blue one with the beret. It was really small though, and eventually was became one of those towels that you use to clean up messy things.
It definitely took like 10 weeks to get to my house though.

Am I the only one that finds the french bear trying to pickup the obviously stoned/drunk and topless female bear kinda creepy? The green bear is obviously a peeping tom. Also, where is the green bears left arm? Is he copping a feel of the red bears rear who is also wearing no pants? Maybe the Otter Pops really are condoms that they use. If so, ewww.

Well, it’s going to be a loooong day. I am pretty much finished all the work I have to do today and it’s only 10:24. What in the world am I going to do to keep myself busy until 4:30?

I HATED Fla-Vor-Ice pops as a kid. Otter Pops were the only acceptable summer popsicle at my house. What kid wouldn’t rather have a popsicle with a character on it? Pink was the best but red is a close second. It was an added bonus that my Mom had no qualms about buying these as they were dirt cheap, and 100 popsicles sounded like a lifetime supply back then.

Happy Summer Megaparty!! Now it really feels like old time summer vacation. I think it calls for a tall, cold, fruity type drink. I wonder what you could make if you crushed a bunch of frozen otterpops in a glass and added some alcohol? I bet something good.

My dad and stepmom always have those Fla-Vor-Ice things around. I don’t particularly care for them anymore but they’re nice once in a while. The yellow ones are pretty funky.

Goob, I remember some ice cream bars that were shaped like Mickey’s head. They had chocolate and vanilla ice cream on them. Is that the one you’re talking about? Because I only had those a couple of times but I loved them to death.

Good to see that the Summer Megaparty is off to a good start! I think I saw a commercial for the M&M’s ice cream treats. Sounds like fodder for a blog post, Matt! Also, may I make a recommendation for the jukebox? “It’s O.K.” by the Beach Boys.

Once again, Matt, you’ve put me back in that time machine with the picture of the Otter Pops. I clearly remember picking those up at our local dairy/deli that is now a laundromat last time I went back to my old neighborhood. Wow. Oh, and did anyone else notice that the Retarded Penguin’s (who SO needs his own t-shirt…seriously, why are we not putting together X-E shirts?!) account number is the same amount of numbers as a phone number? Curious and curiouser.

Okay, so I solved my own mystery: the numbers 4815162342 have something to do with LOST…thank you Google, as I’ve never seen the show. Matt, you’re so clever.

I didn’t think Matt was behind the amount of numbers Citibank chose for their account numbers, unless he was REALLY going all out for this year’s advent.

Box 23… wow. Hey, I saw the M&M ice cream treat at QFC. Almost baught them, to. I LOVE that type of ice cream. I remeber having a Mario and Sonic one as well.

I’m funny about those icy pop things. I will only eat them in the summer. (Which I suppose is the only time people really eat popsicles, but anyways..). To eat them in any other season I find sacrilegious. Which is odd for me because I eat “regular” popsicles all year round.

I also find it funny that i’ve been going to this website for about 4 years now and my first post ever is about icy pops…

Can’t believe I forgot to mention. On Sunday, at the zoo, I saw otters wrasslin. So cute! And then they started running up and touching an ox and runniing away and rincing and repeating. Awesome.

I love these things, but from where I live (NC) we call them Chilly Willies (they used to have a penguin on the wrapper, look it up), but they are the exact same thing. When I used to work at a summer camp, like five years ago, the kids would fight for the green flavor because they said it was Kryptonite flavored and made them stronger (this is actually opposite logic if you think about it), either way, now when I eat them, I think about green making me a little stronger.

I’m going to go eat one right now in fact, seriously, the box is in the freezer about 20 feet away.

To answer your previous post I just looked in the directory the other pics for the megaparty were stored. I don’t know if there is a clue to lead to that page or not, but that’s how I found it.

How can we talk about otters (although I still say they look more like stoned and perverted gummy bears) without talking about the most famous otter of all: Emmet Otter and his Jugband.

Since I’m bored here I tried to do some anagrams with the items on this page. I found that “I not fly but I do other thing” anagrams to “Found it right by the lotion”. Unless its a clue to look at the Coppertan Lotion sticker for a secret clue it probably doesn’t mean anything. I thought I would pass it along though.

Emmet Otter is all about the Christmas, so I’d say he’s a distant cousin to the Otter Pops gang at best. Besides, the Riverbottom Nightmare Band still creeps me out a little…

Pink ones are pink lemonade. I have a sad story regarding that…in 5th grade, after some standardized test, they took us outside, in the hot, Texas sun, and they just randomly handed popsicles out. I got the pink one, I asked for a red, they were just like “be happy with what you get”. I could neither trade someone nor hang out with anyone, because at the time, I had no friends…

I have a bad feeling I’m going to be severely sucked into the Box 23 madness this year. I gave it up after a while last year cause I had this problem with my internet connection where I couldn’t watch any kind of streaming media, so I couldn’t watch the little videos or listen to the audio files or anything, plus some of the folks around here were just light years ahead of me in figuring things out as they came along. But this year, I’m afraid I might get a little wrapped up in the whole thing. I do hope we have another seperate Box 23 thread for it though. It really is its own seperate discussion. That is, assuming Box 23 will be involved at all. This year, it might be called Half Cracker Box, or Retard Penguin Suitcase or something…God only knows what the head honcho around here has planned for us.

To be honest, I don’t think that looks like a penguin at all. It looks more like the Jekyl version of Tweety Bird.

You know reading through the comments, I can’t believe there are people in their 20′S who feel old ! Man I hate to think about how ya’ll are going to feel when your ACTUALLY old, 60 and up. Anyway iv’e been trying hard to stay cool. I picked up some groceries and stuff today and MAN was it HOT! I felt like I was roasting in an oven. Naturally there were big lines at the store too. Oh well i’m home now, so all is well. =)

i heard the penguin missed his last 3 mortgage payments becasue he spends all his money on raw fish, gasoline, and atlantic city prostitutes.

anyone notice how if you eat more then one otter pop/flavorice you get that scratchy feeling in the back of your throat? i dont know if its the plastic that makes you cough or what they use to flavor the ice, but it happens to me every time without fail.

I’m too excited to read everyone’s comments, but Fla-vor-ice’s were THE summertime food from my childhood. I am so excited to see them, even though they are really Otter Pops, that’s ok!

I distinctly remember having that frosty plastic bottle in the fridge, and mom would hand me a little medicine cup full… God I wanted to vomit, and still do, just thinking about it. The smell was horrible, the taste even worse… Ohh I gotta stop thinking about it!

I actually played with every image (including all 10 frames of the snow crab picture) on this page to see if I could find a hidden images or messages. I didn’t have any luck.

I’ve never had Otter Pops. Fla-Vor-Ices, though, I loved. Well, the four original colors. It took me forever to develop a taste for the red ones, and once I finally did, they added the vile pink and blue ones. I got to the stage where I could gag down the pink ones, but the blue tasted like frozen cotton candy. (Were they supposed to be raspberry or bubble gum or what?)

I actually liked the pink ones! And I loved the pink medicine that the doctors gave me…I think I would try to get strep so I could get it…

i dont think i’ve ever had otter pops…i think they were all flavor ices or something even more generic. i liked the orange ones best. they were like tropically orange, not just plain orange.

That pink medicine stuff was awful. I had to take it one time when I was four and I puked everywhere. Never wanted anything to do with it after that.

Also, this one cherry cough syrup that I had to take. I think that stuff is the reason I hate alcohol. Because it all tastes like that shit did.

Second, welcome back to the MegaParty! We kick off with what for me is an occasional treat, usually eaten at someone else’s house because it’s a bitch to carry one of those big boxes of Fla-Vor-Ices home on a bike. Actually, my favorite versions of these come in slightly larger containers in slightly smaller boxes that someone without a car can carry home. They’re called “Italian Ices,” but it’s the same concept with better-tasting flavors. The cherry and lemon are delicious. Come to think of it, I haven’t had those in forever. I wonder if CVS has them…

I always remember having these and the flav… ones. I think the pink ones taste like nothing. they always seemed flavorless to me. So, I did not hate them, but I would never choose them on purpose either.

As for the Otter Pops, I’ve never heard of them. Where I come from, we just have Freezies - which are the end-all-be-all herald of summer for me. Not that I’ve had one since childhood mind you, but they were a summer staple for years.

HAPPY CANADA DAY all u canamanadians out there..such as myself. Never heard of Otter Pops. I believe the ice pop of choice growing up for me was Mr.Freeze. Does anyone else refer to them as freezes? I always went for the blue and white. Nothing beats blue and white at the same time it is pure heaven!

i used to love this saturday morning cartoon called Kissyfur. it was about this bear cub and his dad living redneck style in the swamps after his mom died. did anyone else used to watch this? i remember feeling really really sad about kissyfurs mom, thats how they hooked me!

Those were always FULLY stocked when our gandmother used to take us camping at Tuckaway Lake way back in the day. I was the dick who drank all the blue raspberry because it was the best aritificial flavor of the bunch plus it looked like i was drinking anti-freeze. Good times…..

i used to drink lil hugs, what i remember most was getting those little fuckers open. they came with a little circular piece of foil over the mouth of the bottle, and for the life of me i could never pull it off. i used to just bite through it with my 2 front theeth, but then the juice had this shitty foil taste…

I LOVED lil hugs. Still do. And yeah it’s essentially the same thing as the freezy things, just not frozen.

Kid Nicky, If by pink medicine you’re talking about Pepto Bismol, then yes, I actually used to love Pepto, and still kind of like it. I used to sneak in the fridge and take a couple of swigs even when I wasn’t sick just cause I liked the taste of it. True story.

The “pink cure all” medicine is called Amoxicillin, an antibiotic. I think we all got it when we were kids because it tasted like bubblegum (likely the intended flavor of pink popsicles), and because ear infections are pretty common at that age. It was a decent shot in the dark for doctors who didn’t give a shit.

I am currently trying to think of Pink things that are actually bad. It is hard. Most good things are pink. Like my phone, and my DS~

We were so into the characters that they became bonified cartoon characters to us. We’d even run around pretending to be them!

If you watch Freaks and Geeks you can see Lil hugs scattered all over their cafeteria lunch tables because in the show they get them in their lunches. It’s really cool.

I haven’t had a Lil hug for several years I don’t remember if I got them in my lunch or not but I remember drinking them sometimes. They look like they are only a couple of swigs each but a box of them is less then 5 dollars. I might get a box in the next week or two just for the hell of it. I remember liking the red color.

My Grandma used to get ocean spray juice boxes that were cranberry or cranberry and grape or cranberry and raspberry that she put in our lunches. Also individual sized bags of baseball themed cookies that she only got once and didn’t get them again. They were almost like teddy grahams I think. With baseball statistics on them which is funny because she got them for me and my two sisters, no boys. Every bag would describe how to throw a curve ball.

But anyway we had a cousin that was in his early 30’s at the time that was living with us. He had a joke about the Ocean spray juice boxes he would randomly grab one out of the box without looking at them and he would say, “oh what is this one going to be Cran on Cran?” and then he would say “oh no this one is Cran on Grape!” or whatever one it was. He would then comment oh why do I never get a cran on cran one? Eh, you might of had to of been there to get the joke

I have been every once in a while wanting to get a pack of juice boxes to throw in the freezer to get them into slurpee consistency and then eating them with a spoon but it seems like most of those companies sell drinks in those capri sun pouches anymore. Or the squirt ones with the rip off top in the plastic throwaway bottle. I know big lots sells some apple juice ones with sesame street characters on them. The only Hi C drinks I see are in pouches and not in boxes. Bummer.

I seee Poncho Punch and Strawberry Shortcook dating and living together when along comes Little Orphan Orange and he rlittle dog. To show Strawberry Shortcook he is ready for commitment, Poncho takes Annie under his wing against the wishes of wise ol’ Sir Isaac Lime. Annie begins to get in the way of the relationshipa nd Strawberry Shortcook seeks the advice of her gay friend Louie (the blue Otter Pop). In the end, the couple decide to leave Alexander the Grape in charge of Annie so he can show her the ways of the Otter Pops in time maturing Annie. The story is told through the eyes of aging Not Orphan Anymore Annie by the way.

Count me in with the folks who loved the taste of the pink antibiotics. That and Dimetapp. Ugh, but we had this cherry cough syrup for kids and that stuff made me puke every single time. Even regular Robotussin was better than that vile crap.

I just took some pepto myself. I wish I could say it was a casual visit and that I was just feeling nostalgic for its pink taste.

I never liked the flavor of any liquid medicine. Blech! I always preferred to get my medicine in pill form. Or, for me, a shot. I’m not scared of needles at all and a shot always worked quicker.

I can’t say I like any liquid medicines, but I must say that I love the taste of baby aspirin. I like the taste of Pepsid AC chewables too for some reason.

My brother was always allergic to the pink stuff so we never had any of that in the house. They never gave me anything he was allergic to just to be on the safe side, so it appears I got lucky in not having had to have tasted any of it.
I remember Kissyfur and Emmett Otter’s Jugband Christmas. I think I’ll watch my Emmett dvd today actually. I bought it last Christmas, along with the He-man and She-ra and Garfield specials, to ensure that my soon-to-be-born daughter grows up with proper holiday television. I just grabbed a handful of some Jelly Belly jelly beans one of my co-workers has. I always forget that they make some weird flavors.
I hate it when I grab one that looks like it may be good and the flavor turns out to be fly spit or something.

I recently picked up a rather generic looking giant mesh bag loaded with rather generic looking plastic sleeves of frozen water and sugar. It wasn’t until I got home and stuck them in the freezer that I realized they were Hawaiian Punch brand popsicles! I then mumbled something to myself about how awesome that was.

Man, I long forgot about Otter Pops. I used to do the same thing with the red and green ones acting like they are lightsabers. I liked how each flavor had their own character as well. Anything that is edible, blue and won’t kill me, I’m eating or drinking it.

I was so creeped out by this entry becuase Rudy, that BF of mine… got THREEFUCUKINGBOXES of Otterpops this weekend for FREE from a trucker that works for him. Unloaded an ENTIRE PALLETT of the stuff on him and said “Take It!”

On a lighter note- the Rite Aid here was selling Icee Flavor pops, ninetynine cents for eight Slushy treats… and you know,they were so delicious and SLUSHY! Just like an Icee.
Like- you couldn’t squeeze it out in one piece cause they somehow tinkered with the liquid so it wouldn’t completely freeze!
