Now someone's probably mentioned the one-penny dragon thing but I ain't skimming posts for an impulsive entry!

I worked at Zellers (think of it as a Canadian Target) for about two years, and when something rang up at a penny it meant that there was a pricing error and it needed to be removed from the floor so some lady I never met could change the price to what it was supposed to be.

Newbies are great when they have no idea about it and give you the mad dealz though.

Matt-There was a two page spread for it but it was just mainly advertising the new Slammin' Strawberry Kiwi flavor and had a contest on how you can win some great prizes. However, in the fine print for the contest, it does mention the other 3 flavors including Kickin' Kiwi-Lime, Oh-Yeah Orange-Pineapple and Man-O-Mango-Berry,

I once paid a penny for a "goat log". That's a log of goats cheese, I'll have you know. I gots me a ten dollar goat cheese log for a frickin penny.
