You might want to show these blog posts up on the front page. I've been checking the webpage regularly for updates, but all I see each time is the old Christmas stuff.

undeadhead, on the sturdiness of Thundercats toys, Lion-O survived being rode over by a bike, being thrown against a brick wall by Mumm-Ra's mental powers (or by me, which is virtually the same), trial by conkers (if you've seen American Gladiators, think Humman Cannonball, where the conker is the contestant) and best of all in my opinion was his trial by RC monster truck (tied his hands to the back of a toy with shoe laces and blue-tacked LEGO car wheel bases to his feet like rollerskates...rev and go over bumpy terrain).

I suppose I should add, I never really liked Lion-O that much.

I still have that Mum-Ra, but I didn't know it was only with the playset and a mail-in. Seeing as I never had the playset, it's heart-warming to know my parents went through the trouble of collecting the proofs and mailing away for it without me asking.

I can remember when a kid up the street got Zukkus though mail-in, the bounty hunter in Empire Strikes Back behind Bobba and all the others.

It didn't matter that he was a C3PO repaint I think with a different head. He had ZUKKUS. The one bounty hunter we didn't have, and we even each had Degar for god's sake, the guy with the leave blower on his back.

So when we all got our bounty hunters together to hunt down G.I. Joe's Breaker (our whipping boy) he was the only one that had the full compliment.

...and it was at that time I learned the fine line between envy and outright hatred of someone having something you don't. :(

I received the shriveled Mum-Ra AND a My Little Pony baby in the mail in the same week. Highlight of my life (at least, up until the age of 9).

The mail-away Mum-Ra was fun to look at, but lacked the arm movements or glowing, red eyes of the blue dude. To their credit, Thundercats made some sturdy toys. Almost as good as the bendable rubber wrestlers. I think the only way you could destroy the toy version of Macho Man Randy Savage would be dunk him in boiling hot metal like the Terminator.

Oops. We liked Transformers, too, and had no toys from that because the line was also pricey, but I meant Thundercats. You probably all knew that. :">
