ok, it may have been almost 6 months since someone last posted, but I have thought of some crazy things.
Just to start on the right foot here, I may be a bit younger than most of you guys (12), but I am fluent in the art of interneting I may be weird sometimes, but I am very nice, I have been reading the box 23 threads since it popped up, I have been reading the advents for a while, and I have a hatred for mermaids.
ok, thats my personal info, now onto the crazy ramblings I thought up.
1. the “hizz in a tizz” thing with the highlighted z’s? the z’s look like four seven’s if you take away the bottom part of the .
2. 16 Almatheas on the top, 1+6=7, 4 boxes. 7 and 4 make 7777.
3. The box on the top of the thread secretly says “expectant”. Could this mean that Mare is preggy again, and the Almathea’s are “baby juice”?
4. Since there was no Santa for the 08 Calendar, will the unseen Santa from 02 take over the post? And on the subject of Santa, is/are H.U./The Advent gang in hiding because without a Santa, things have fallen into chaos?
5. Maybe we have been looking at NoMooseCot(Soon to come) wrong. Maybe NoMooseCot-02 means that something from 2002, the year of the lost Santa, is coming to 2008(NoMooseCot-08)?
6. The crab thing: weren’t the parasites from Cloverfield seem like mutant crabs?
7. Tying into H.U. or the whole Advent Family hiding, there’s a Cloverfield monster toy coming out on Sept. 30th. Repeat: There is a Cloverfield monster toy, with some parasites and a statue of liberty head, that are in scale to attack Lego’s and Playmobile’s, coming out on the day after I post this. Maybe that’s why H.U. or the whole family is hiding! The Cloverfield monster toy is attacking! Also, for the 7777 references in the articles, I see some links. T.H.I.N.G.S.=the monster’s Zilla-and-Spacey-ness. Madballs=the grossness of the puffy things on the side of the monster’s head. Unsolved Mysteries=it’s been quite some time since the viral messageing started, and the monster is still a mystery to the ‘net. Also, the monster could be controlled by Hare and slightly amputated Claire, and they’re gathering old toy lines to fight the good side with.
8. The vodka bottle on the first NoMooseCot pic could be refferenceing Box starting to drink at the end of the last advent.
man…that is a *lot* of crazy ramblings. well, that should be it for now. just to note, my “Cult of the Cottonball” saint name shall be ”Jewish Saint Andrew”, minor patron saint of going on the internet for days on end, and H.U.’s name for whoever is wondering, is 83(according to his Youtube account).

also, just a side note, Knacks posted a new MySpace update (http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=128522310&blogID=440169129). lets see…he’s probably reading up on animals, so if my Cloverfield Toy theory is correct, he might be wondering what sea animal can mutate into it. also, a comment on it went like this:

So any thoughts on the “barnum” caption for the Waiterbot, its too short really for an anagram and nothing good can be made from it.
I wonder if it has something to do with Barnum and Bailey Circus if some type of circus theme might be coming this year.

I think a lot of the problem is for a while comments weren’t showing up when we tried to post them so people stopped coming by. Now that we can post again things may pick up again.

Anyone else kinda disoriented by the Halloween Countdown homepage vs. the Advent Calendar blog? LOL, I like it though, since I tend to mix Halloween and Christmas together anyhow (y’know, like making “Horror Carols” and stuff).
Man, I’m SO EXCITED for the Advent Calendar! Actually, I’m really excited for Christmas itself too – I’ve been listening to Christmas music on my commute in the mornings lately.

I think we should start a whole new thread for this year, that is unless we’re just trying to set a new record for comments. This one is 1,090. The password to that site is driving me crazy.
yeah I’m not good with digging into site any deeper then right click/properties. That would be awsome though to have a site with passwords and slowly give hints to figure it out.
I kinda like the old thread, I wish he had left it as one to start with instead of breaking it into 4parts. If it was all one thread we would be getting close to 5,000 comments.

Guise–Yeah, I agree. We might be reaching a bit on the “arcano” thing. I wouldn’t rule it out just yet but there’s a lot of evidence to suggest we’re chasing a false lead with the website. It is still pretty early in the conspiracy and I think “arcano” could suggest anything (although I REALLY want to know what that password is). Good job on identifying that Chinese lion mask thing, btw. I don’t know how you managed that.
Oh, and as far as the threads go, I agree that it would have been really cool to have all of last year’s on one giant thread instead of 4, but I think each year should get it’s own thread, just to keep it all straight.
Deej, well…it’s actually a sea monster. First time I saw the face in Box 23, I thought it looked like a chinese dragon, and googled, then just thought of sea monsters…and, well…booyah.
Only problem with a year thread is how long it takes to load sometimes. Not a problem with a forum or bb, but on a single page comment thread – killer!
