OK, I clicked on the right link this time, and I have to say, this year’s Advent Calendar is starting out great! Hope you can keep up this level of creativity all December, without getting burnt out, Matt! Are you planning to do an Advert calendar, as well, this year?
Thank you! As someone who’s been following the antics of the Playmobil calendar ever since you started doing it, I’d just like to say how glad I am you’re back for another year… I’ve actually had almost two texts today asking me if “they” were “doing the Lego advent calendar thing again this year”… I’m really looking forward to seeing how this one pans out!

Nice job Matt! I just got around to reading this because I wouldn’t allow myself to see it until I read/re-read ALL of the previous Advent Calendars. It surprisingly took me a very long time. Lots of content there.
You are very talented my friend.

It’s baaaack. (cheers)
So, just to get all nostalgic, what’s everyone’s favourite x-e advent to date? As basic and simple as it was, I kind of have a soft spot for the original one (involving a crow and a fence, I seem to recall), where it really was made up as it went along (…I think!)

loved it. So glad it’s December. It is snowing here right now. We’re supposed to have up to a foot before it’s done and there’s already a good 6 inches on the ground.
I love december.
Remember back in the 80s when Mcdonallds had that whole Mac tonight adds with the moon singing, they discontiuned the adds here in the US, but Singapore still uses him, check it out, Mac tonight in CGI http://youtube.com/watch?v=mOlLIP9-vlQ&feature=related

kb – I’m so jealous. We’re supposed to have snow today, but I haven’t seen any yet, that’s for sure. And my stupid family is out buying crap when we should be decorating! (I’m not with them because I have an exam on Monday – I can justify not studying because of decorating, but not for shopping that’s not even Christmas related)

Tonight’s real SNT will be up in, oh, 1.5 hours tops.
Frankkyfire- yeah, I am pretty happy. I am being forced by nature to stay in tonight. AND there’s SNT, and I couldn’t make it to where my son was to pick him up after work (I’m mostly sad) but I haven’t had a night of nothing in months. I am very excited.
Who does that commercial where they light up a palm tree? I think it’s a beer commercial? It’s been on for AGES at Christmas, but they keep bringing it back.

Cameron T.-I could be wrong, but I think that’s Corona.
I am working in a toy store this xmas season and have been pushing the advent calendars for weeks and anticipating the return of Kuse and Knacks the whole time. woohoo
