Fellow conspirators of the 23… I swear I clicked on all of the titles on the waitwaitwait page last night, and this audio clip was NOT there… The same thing happened on the ‘wait 7 seconds’ page – right? I wonder if this puzzle is going to be revealed each day and if we’re just spinning our tires looking for the next clue until tomorrow (or whenever) when Matt releases it??? Any thoughts? btw: creepiest audio clip EVER!

Wow, that IS the creepiest audio clip ever! Aside from what everyone else heard, I also heard “We must visit Andy Warhol” (I think this is where Guise heard ‘We must wreak uncertain peril’, which is far more likely than mine), as well as “We are not wonderful, we are not beautiful” before the “We are not monsters” line.
So far my theory is that an army of mutant rabbits are coming to take over Christmas and kill Mare, with the dubious help of Mista Snowman. And Andy Warhol.

OK, the waitwaitwait page has definitely changed since last night… the bottom left where it says BatRib/12.23.07 was definitely not that last night. I’ve tried adding 12.23.07 to the url, but it didn’t work. I’m sure no one needs me to explain the 12.23.07 reference.

OH CRAP – They’re replacing Christmas with Easter, because it’s too commercialized! I can’t believe I didn’t get that sooner – duh “Destruction is useless without a plan to rebuild/Let’s replace primaries (red and green) with pastels/Ovals (as already mentioned, eggs), better than circles (wreaths, bulbs, etc)”!
Also – will it still work if I send an email to the address, and is that how you got the video? I just started this thing, so I’m waaaaay behind.

Before I go to bed, does anyone have any theories on the OURMUSEHAS file names? They’re ASONG.jpg and ASONG.gif respectively.
And what does Expires: 28 November 2007 06:29:27 mean? I mean, is it my computer that’s making it expire, or is it the image itself going away? Bear in mind that I’m doped up on sleeping pills and I’m pretty uneducated about this sort of thing, so be gentle with me.
(I’m using View Source and Page Info to get this, by the way)

Okay I’m gonna go to bed now, because for every three words I type I have to backspace at least two for spelling mistakes. Also I may be having slight hallucinations.
Anyway, I’ve left my email address in the clicky name thingy, so if anything happens while you guys are up, feel free to tell me.
I got a response that said “tell friends to look again” and it repeated what I sent but the word as is bolded.
00:01 – ??Xmas (Ick Man, Egg Man, 8megs?) Open??
00:05 – We have to get rid of him
00:11 – We have to ??wreak uncertain peril??
00:20 – We’re not evil
00:31 – We’re not evil
00:34 – We’re not monsters

I sent them the transcript and it came back to me with the word as bolded. I’m thinking maybe that means it that’s what it says and not “or else”. Then the message said to look again so I found the ItParrot (portrait?) video. There might still be new things on the pages so everyone check around.

definitely a blurry rabbit image near the bottom right, agreed? Can’t make out much of the audio, but I have no fancy audio tweakers (that’s a technical term, right?)

Agreed. Also, the end of the video the Audio sounds like part of the beginning of the the Wav but I can’t make anything of the beginning of the MOV. I’m going to analyze it after I eat some pizza…

I’m back, baby! Yeah, the little rabbit thing in the bottom right of ItParrot definitely looks like this musically inclined Nazi rabbit.
Just saw the video. I agree with you Nizz that the blurred figure at the bottom could be a rabbit.
I’m off to explore other pages now.

In my opinion, the rabbit in that picture looks kind of like Mare’s mother, with the sweater. Maybe this rabbit society is a matriarchy? I think we can all agree that rabbits will be invading the Advent Calendar this year, so perhaps this lady rabbit will be their villainous leader?
But what’s all this with Mare touching Santa? Did this disturb some sort of balance?
