Fellow conspirators of the 23… I swear I clicked on all of the titles on the waitwaitwait page last night, and this audio clip was NOT there… The same thing happened on the ‘wait 7 seconds’ page – right? I wonder if this puzzle is going to be revealed each day and if we’re just spinning our tires looking for the next clue until tomorrow (or whenever) when Matt releases it??? Any thoughts? btw: creepiest audio clip EVER!

Wow, that IS the creepiest audio clip ever! Aside from what everyone else heard, I also heard “We must visit Andy Warhol” (I think this is where Guise heard ‘We must wreak uncertain peril’, which is far more likely than mine), as well as “We are not wonderful, we are not beautiful” before the “We are not monsters” line.
So far my theory is that an army of mutant rabbits are coming to take over Christmas and kill Mare, with the dubious help of Mista Snowman. And Andy Warhol.

OK, the waitwaitwait page has definitely changed since last night… the bottom left where it says BatRib/12.23.07 was definitely not that last night. I’ve tried adding 12.23.07 to the url, but it didn’t work. I’m sure no one needs me to explain the 12.23.07 reference.

OH CRAP – They’re replacing Christmas with Easter, because it’s too commercialized! I can’t believe I didn’t get that sooner – duh “Destruction is useless without a plan to rebuild/Let’s replace primaries (red and green) with pastels/Ovals (as already mentioned, eggs), better than circles (wreaths, bulbs, etc)”!

And what does Expires: 28 November 2007 06:29:27 mean? I mean, is it my computer that’s making it expire, or is it the image itself going away? Bear in mind that I’m doped up on sleeping pills and I’m pretty uneducated about this sort of thing, so be gentle with me.

I sent them the transcript and it came back to me with the word as bolded. I’m thinking maybe that means it that’s what it says and not “or else”. Then the message said to look again so I found the ItParrot (portrait?) video. There might still be new things on the pages so everyone check around.

I’m back, baby! Yeah, the little rabbit thing in the bottom right of ItParrot definitely looks like this musically inclined Nazi rabbit.

In my opinion, the rabbit in that picture looks kind of like Mare’s mother, with the sweater. Maybe this rabbit society is a matriarchy? I think we can all agree that rabbits will be invading the Advent Calendar this year, so perhaps this lady rabbit will be their villainous leader?
But what’s all this with Mare touching Santa? Did this disturb some sort of balance?

In that case, lemme tell you what I got from ItParrot: nothing. It’s waaaay too distorted for me to even pretend to decipher what he’s saying, and I’m even using my fancy shmancy headphones! All it sounds like to me is someone breathing into the mic.
Although, around 16 seconds, when the rabbit outline is visible, it sounds like the voice is saying “It means nothing.”
I’m done for the night… Well done today, Advent-urers. Christmas will be saved – it all depends on us!

I had a bunny once. He as a lop-eared, dark gray rabbit named Max. He chewed through the power cord for my brother’s receiver. We had to repair the damn thing using some kit he bought at Radio Shack. Max didn’t really like anybody. He hated being picked up and would scratch the hell out of the underside of my forearms every time I tried to using his massively strong hind legs.
When I moved I had to give him to a second cousin who lived on a farm. The one and only time I wasn’t heartbroken at losing a pet. What can I say, he just wouldn’t let me be close to him. His claws saw to that.

Holy lambs or possibly sheep, Batman! Are the toys from the first advent calendar coming back to help the bunnies save Christmas?!
Hi, I’m new to the game, but I’ve been following along from the beginning. Somebody on one of the earlier threads mentioned that there were rabbits in the 2002 Advent calendar, and sure enough there were (click my name to go that entry).
This got me thinking: Maybe the unfinished 2002 calendar could come into play somehow this year. My theory about the four 7’s is this: 4 weeks (of 7 days) = 28 days. 25 days of this year’s advent calendar + 3 days never completed from 2002 = 28. Guise’s possible identification of “We are survivors from the first one” above lends some credence to this, as, obviously, 2002 was “the first one” (in terms of X-E Advent calendars anyway). To be sure, this is only a crackpot fringe theory as of yet, but perhaps it’s something worth thinking about in some capacity.
Anyway, it’s only 3 days now! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Mare, Kuse and Knacks this year!
Wilkins: No theory is too crackpot or too fringe for this diabolic mystery. The safe arrival of Christmas may very well rest in our hands; every moment between now and then needs to be spent exploring every theory, no matter how crackpot or fringe it may seem – the answer is out there.

Nizz and Wilkins, well to take a stab at crackpottery, how about “The survivors” are those two bunnies from the unfinished calendar and as one was seemingly bigger than the other, they grew in to the humanoid ones at the end of the 2006 calendar. They rescued [Number_of_the_beast/Satan/Santa] in a way similar to Palpatine and Anakin, and now plan to use their highly magical, [Major Burns] victim to conduct their [OnMissI/Mission] to rebuild Christmas to Easter, splitting up Knacks, Kuse and Mare [Trap Trio/Part Trio], targetting [Lady In White/Mare] and sacrificing in a bog men style [achildachild/Box] who will bring a new world order of bunnydom?
