The nice thing is, you can still rest peacefully at night after you are finished with a day of writing (hopefully!). Come to think of it, Browne probably does too, on her giant bed of money *sigh*. Oh well, thanks for the heads up on the Creme Egg McFlurries!!!!

Ah….back from Orlando and ready for some SNT. I think it might be lite tonight on account of St. Pat’s but I am staying in. No point on chancing fate with every other drunk being on the road.

Congrats to IHAQ! That’s great.

I couldn’t help noticing that there is question about the conclusion of X-E. I doubt it. I do sometimes feel guilty that such a great site is free of charge.I know that running such a site is expensive.

Why did you get rid of the paypal donations? Is it against the WordPress’s service rules, is it too big of a tax burden or do you not want to feel like you are tied to oblige detonators for topics and time constrictions? I can understand any of those detraction’s but there are a few of us that would love to contribute for the simple reason that we like the site for what it is, not what more you put into it.

IHAQ- Wow, cool! Way to go! My best friend is about to have a baby ANY DAY NOW and she asked me to be the GODMOTHER!! I will take it- it will give me a chance to play with / spoil a kid without doing the work.
I am very excited about it.

Bludge- Yeah, I agree. It is insane how MANY damn books she has out though! Man, THAT gets published ten times over and struggling young writers (like myself) hardly have a chance. Sad.

Oh yeah, and congrats on the baby-making, IHAQ! Kids are great. My three year old recently spotted a Super Mario Super Show DVD set at Target and said “we need to buy that”. I’ve never been more proud! Without him there, there’s no way I would have justified blowing perfectly good money on something like that.

Here’s hoping that your years of parenthood are filled with moments of buying kinda-cool stuff that you’d be too embarassed to buy otherwise.

Thanks for the congrats everyone I’m glad I can be part of the x-e baby group Mars this wasn’t planned but, we wanted to start trying in the next few months, so it’s only 2 months sooner.

I haven’t seen any Shamrock Shakes, but I don’t really care cause the McDs around here has Cabury Cream Egg McFlurries out right now, and I have half of one waiting in the fridge waiting for me.

I haven’t seen any Shamrock Shakes at McDonald’s recently, but that’s ok with me, as I am not a major fan of all things mint-flavored, plus I prefer flame-broiled burgers to fried.
On a related McDonald’s theme, has anyone seen the web site put out by McDonald’s UK, where they actually answer just about any question you put to them, and add the question to their database? For instance, if you search on “shake”, you will get a list of all questions people post to them about shakes – some of the questions display purely atrocious grammar, and even worse mindsets – for instance, “so is it fun to crush 30,000 chickens in a cage and kill them when there 6 weeks old for peices of rubbish quality additive full chicken nuggets which cause obesity in children today because there addictive?” (All spelling is exactly as in original question.)
