SNT.

I can't decide if I kind of wish it was summer, or kind of wish it was October.  Happy SNT.

Well, since I too live in sunny Florida, I vote for october as well. I also work at Party City, and in about 5 more months we will be putting up Halloween stuff. Man, I love October, a time for candy and beer. What could be more better.

K- I could tell you, but I’d require your soul in return.

Chestnuts roasted by Mystie @ 02/26/2007 1:26 AM

I could tell you for the low, low price of a chocolate chip cookie or two. They’re much cheaper than souls, last time I checked at least…

Chestnuts roasted by Phil B. @ 02/26/2007 2:02 AM

Souls and cookies are easily arranged. I was afraid you’d want something important like my heart or my PS2 :P

Well, in that case, there’s an emoticon guide here:

NES games:
1. Milon’s Secret Castle
2. Tecmo Bowl
3. Operation Wolf
Although I was one of the first people to get the Turbo Grafx-16 CD craze going. In 1989 I was in 7th grade and my older sister was dating a rich boyfriend who was shipping off to the military. He basically gave me his Turbo Grafx-16 CD system with 15 games for $50 bucks. That was the first CD game system (that I know of) with Y’s Book I & II, Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, J.B. Harold Murder Club to name a few. Bonk’s Adventure, Takin’ It to the Hoop Bball, TV Sports Football, Legendary Axe, Splatterhouse, Military Madness (One of the best strategy games ever), R-Type, Dungeon Explorer, Power Golf (I still love it better than Tiger), World Class Baseball, and titles that I can’t remember (I was 13 then and Im 30 now, imagine how many drugs and wild escapades I’ve experienced during that time.)
Help me out people, let everyone know how many of you started your morning out with Fruit Islands cereal and Mrs. Pac-Man cereal! (Ayummayumma! You can say it too. She’s got a shocking pink bow…OHHH!)

I’ve wondered about the smilies. Gosh, what a strange word. Smilies. SMILIES.

It snowed here, and I firmly believe it did so because I said I was ready for summer. (Don’t tell it, but I’m quite happy it’s here.)

Random answers!

The “Tell Me a Story” thread (not really a survey, but had geat results)
Metroid
True Stories
Keeping the rubber side down and the shiny side up
The Summer of ’75
Seeing Star Wars in the theater the first time
Singing along to “(Keep Feeling) Fascination” for no reason

It snowed here too. Last night AND the night before. Ick.

Sometimes, if I’m reading fast, I read smilies as similes. That reminds me of metaphors, and of 10th grade when I gave a lesson to my HONORS English class on the easiest way to tell the difference between the two using a single line from a song. Yeah.

October means Halloween, spring means no snow…That’s a tuffy…

One of these SNT’s I’ll actually comment on a Saturday…

I wish it was summer so I could send you more crappy suggestions for the Halloween Countdown.

Chestnuts roasted by Vanbilderass @ 02/26/2007 4:09 PM

If I graduate on time, I wish it was already this coming summer. If I’m not graduating on time… yeah. I wish for 2004. Or 2003, but 2004 was excellent.

Sweetness 8)

The soul is the Hello Kitty adhesive strip tin, underneath the trashcan on the corner, across the street.

Thanks to Squee and Manimal- you two rock. Been so darn busy. Trying to work out again, doing school, blearrgh. Life sucks, never get on XE more than once a week now. Yarrrr. This blows. Baby’s cool though. Hey, ARTICLE!! OK I’m out.

Chestnuts roasted by Terror Claws Cole @ 02/26/2007 7:25 PM

Speaking of Hello Kitty, I came across a pair of toddler-sized Hello Kitty underpants on a sidewalk today. I felt kind of sad for the toddler who hasn’t got underpants.

Glad the others could help you out, K-. :D Even if you did have to give up some goods.

Ok, who’s watching 24 tonight?

Chestnuts roasted by Ryane @ 02/26/2007 9:14 PM

I’m watching. i’m not really liking much, but I’m watching.

Chestnuts roasted by Jemmy @ 02/26/2007 10:30 PM

Congrats Terror CC. Happy bday IHAQ and Cameron. Sorry, busy week.

Chestnuts roasted by Bill @ 02/26/2007 11:04 PM

Well let’s be honest, of all the things offered and relinquished, the most important is still in my possession.

……it’s the PS2 if you anyone somehow didn’t see that coming.

Chestnuts roasted by K- @ 02/26/2007 11:26 PM

I never watched a single episode of 24 until this season’s premier. I was immediately in love with the show (and yes, Jack too :P ) when Jack bit into that guys neck when they had him strapped into the chair and Fayed was torturing him.

Since then, I’ve burned through seasons 1 & 2 and am now on the 4th disc of season 3. But yeah, there is something lacking, and I think it’s Jack’s face time. They have like, way too much stuff going on… or maybe it’s just better watching 6-8 episodes in a row instead of 1 a week. :D

WINTER!

Chestnuts roasted by Justin @ 02/27/2007 12:28 AM

For all those that picked 24: tonight’s Heroes was the best ever.

Note: this doesn’t mean I didn’t watch 24 first and DVR’d Heroes for afterward. Nothing comes between my tummy and the honey-sweet taste of 24. It’s part of a complete breakfast.

Chestnuts roasted by Mars @ 02/27/2007 4:32 AM

I’d rather watch a simul-cast of the Mr. T. cartoon show and Fox News Sean Hannity’s America than waste my time watching 24. (Note: saying “Sean Hannity’s America” is like saying “Hitler’s Europe”.)
