Know what sucks? It’s snowing here right now! It shouldn’t be snowing! It’s almost March!

Just read the new stub on wiki. Are there really moderators other than our host, Mr. Caracappa?? If so, who are these deputies?? (There’s so much about the internet I don’t know.)

Thanks! Yeah, I love the wallpaper. I totally want to get like a square foot of it framed before they throw it away. Maybe we can auction pieces on ebay! Haha. She should be on the show sometime during the week of March 19th, I’ll post something when I’m sure. As of now it doesn’t look like the fam gets to come out too though, which is a big bummer.
I think I should be one, but I’d have to spend all my time deleting my own posts.

whoa- i was just reading somebody’s post from way up on this thread and it hit me that x-e’s holiday postings and their attendand phenomena have totally become traditions for me; and the awesomeness of whatever holiday is amplified by 1 million by getting all fired up about it with y’all on the ms board. good job, matt!

Congrats to Tommy for becoming a knight of the Round Table of Queen Martha. Anyways, there has been a disturbing rumor floating around that Alan Thicke of Growing Pains fame had a serious accident nicking his nuts from shaving in the shower and now is in intensive care. Boner has stepped up to the plate and is now leading a candlelight vigil in NYC Central Park to keep the faith for his former fallen comrade. Boner has reportedly already gone through two entire Bics, and has now upped the ante by ponying up a fund to show his undying love for Papa Bear Seaver so he can get a whole new bag of Bics at the store and a 40 to pour out on the wall for his homie. Please post any updates if they become available about this heart wrenching tragedy that is quickly making 9/11 look like Sesame Street!

The Mighty, Mighty X is entirely self-moderating. (That it hasn’t gone blind is a miracle in itself.)
It is also brought to you by the letters X, E, S.N.T., the number 1980’s, a generous Grant from Lou, the Corporation Against Public Displays of Affection, and Posters Like You.

I don’t know but this is the third day in a row I’ve tried that using smilies link and that mother fucking damn page never wants to load for me. I’ve got some fucking joy to express and a shitty standard smile isn’t going to do it.

Re: Walmart ‘Pick of Destiny’ Shenanigans.
It is 100% absolutely true. Make with the consumerism people.

I am planning on heading to the States (Michigan) at the end of March, and can’t wait to visit a Target, a 7-11, and all the other bastions of consumerism many of you take for granted (maybe even a Roy Rogers or Checkers or Jack in the Box!!) Ok- now I am excited.

So, what’s up with everyone today? I’ve been watching WWE 24/7, switching my virus protection, and preparing for a blizzard that is supposedly coming tonite.

I wish that Matt would update the website more than once every month. This is sad. come on dude, write something!!!!!

Hey, what did I say Oh Don Piano. Matt will write what he wants when he wants, and we won’t hear anything to the contrary.

A week since you posted anything? I’m going into withdrawal! I love the site. Keep up the good work.
By the way, what’s SNT?
Ghosted by Monica @ 03/01/2007 8:06 PM EST
dohopoki - Just Google “WordPress emoticons” and you’ll find a few smilies guides.
Oh god no no no no no no no! Not that green, closed eyed, big tooth smilie.

Why isn’t there an arrow pointing the other direction? I really need to point at something

Monica: If you are going to ask what is SNT than your withdrawals can’t be too bad. J/K Monica, welcome. I am sort of new too. I have read for years but only posted since September of 06. The archives help for non mega-party months. Us unorthodox career people find it hard to match free time with Matt’s busy schedule. But he always comes through with great material. I don’t believe XE pays his bills so we should all be very appreciative of the time he does put towards the site.

For summer and october, I would say a bit of both.
Cause when it’s summer I like to go to LBI and when it’s october I like to watch scary movies on Halloween.

Anyway… did anyone see IDOL. my god that girl totally FUBAR’d that song. I had to laugh.

On the other side of the world, south of the Equator, where poster arete lives, October is one of the warmer months. Hello, South Africa!
Wow, you mean the X has evolved to the point where we need a official glossary of X-E in-jokes, cliches, and favorite nacho recipies? Our baby’s growing up!
mmmmm…. nachos…..

That is so bitner…

Alright, Matt, I know you don’t know me, but I’m having one of the shittiest weeks in the history of me, and I need something to read, damn it. X-E is where I come to feel better. I know its not your responsibility to stick a pacifier in the mouths of whiny, selfish little web babies like myself who scream “Update!” to you whenever you’ve decided to take some time to yourself, but I need, man. Just a paragraph. A sentence, even. Something. I’m barely hanging on here. Give us a sign of life, brother, no matter how small.
You’re doing this on purpose……can’t…..fight them all…..on my own

I am sure there will be a new SNT tonight, people. It’s ok- we’re gonna make it. And even if not, more people should pop in than usual to say ‘hey’.
I am off to see The Number 23 tonight- hope it’s good.
Happy (early) SNT!!

…. okay, I just had to look at my calendar and make sure I didn’t sleep through an entire day. But yeah, today is surely enough Friday, and not Saturday, when we have the Saturday Night Thread. Muppet Baby, stop messin’ with my mind!
For real, at this point, Matt could post a photo of his dirty laundry and write “discuss” and we’d all be jumping on it.
Oh and to everyone else, I’m not pissy because you want content, I’m pissy when you demand it. You can question why it’s my personal vendetta, but just know that it is. I just want everyone to be considerate of Matt, ok?
Im kinda pissy unhappy meself. The Target exclusive Easter ponies are sold out at every store myself and my parents have checked. Its like everyone bought them up and put them on ebay but its ridiculous to pay $30 + shipping for $15 worth of ponies. I really wanted these for my daughters Easter but this is ridiculous. If anyone has seen any or are willing to pick em up for me, shoot me an email please.
One of my McDonalds near me is selling shamrock shakes, the other coffee flavored. So weird.

I agree that the relative paucity of new posts is saddening, but you’ve got to understand the kind of pressure Matt’s under. SpongeBob ads don’t just write themselves, you know. Just seeing his work and knowing it’s his is sort of rewarding itself. As a father of young kids it makes all those hours of Nick a little less irritating. I’ve only posted a few dozen times, but I’ve been reading XE for ages. I started reading just before the whole Photog saga, though sadly I was never able to contribute to it directly. But when I see someone say “that is so bitner” it just makes my day. Keep up the good work, Matt, even if it’s only every other week.
Are we in bizarro world today? There was an article just over 2 weeks ago, there was an article just over 2 weeks before that and this thread isn’t even a week old yet. Are we all talking about the same website here when we’re crying out to God for Matt to give us an update? I love the site too but this is nothing compared to the waits we have had in the past.
Ghosted by dohopoki @ 03/02/2007 11:52 PM EST
It’s Matt’s fault for spoiling us the past few months with all the updates.
Season: fall. cool weather, the smell of dry leaves, the anticipation of holidays to come.
Indie movies: Thirteen, Napolean Dynamite
NES games: Zelda, Tetris, Lolo
And….Matt? Don’t worry. We know you’ve got a life outside of work and here. Just hope everything is okay.

I saw the Reno 911 movie tonight. Funny, and probably funnier to people who regularly watch the show like me. They’ve re-recorded some of the intros to the characters from the pilot in the movie, but this is probably to introduce the characters to people who never watch the show (Dangle & Junior’s is the most obvious). The funniest part is probably when they’re chasing the chicken, and it definately earns its R rating (Officer Jones finding not 1 but 4 of his fellow officers pleasurung themselves in their respective hotel rooms)
Also, still searching for a Shamrock Shake on LI. Any info leading me to one would be awesome.
ohMuppet Baby I hear you on the 7-11. We lack them here in MN and when I go visit the fam in seattle they cannot understand my crazy need to get a big gulp. I just love that logo design more than any other.
Matt: There should be an Easter Egg coloring competition this year. I was just in Kroger and past a egg coloring holder with those egg tattoo covers. I have no idea what you call them. Just a thought. I want to say “dioramas.”

We have moderators, Mystie? I seriously doubt that. I mean, I’m still here. That’s pretty much conclusive proof to the contrary
