I am sorry you had a rough time while visiting our establishment, and I would ask you consider the following,, the machine in particular you refer to,, simpsons/turtles in November the Simpson’s video board burned out and we had a similar board to fit the machine, so we used it,yes it looks cheesy i admit it however how many true children’s video games are out there that are not all gore related. we have this here so mom and dad can have the children 5/under play a video game that is not offensive to them. As for the security. I was that big guy upfront who greeted ya with a “hi how ya doing today” and yes we are security conscious as we are responsible for children from all over the country had you asked us we would have answered an question you asked. you say the claws/cranes were broken I ask did you tell anyone you had a problem. We have been there as an arcade for 30 plus years and yes we are retro, but if we weren’t you would be paying $2 dollars a game to play anything and thats just not “family friendly, I am truly sorry that you were disenchanted with your experience and would ask that next time you are in town you stop in and ask if you wanted to do a real story we would have given yu all the ammunition you could want to use either for us or against us. i would really like to have you come back during the season to really see what Playcade can be,

One of my first jobs was working at an arcade in ‘92, and I’d say the reason the gutty works of that Simpsons game were gone was the demo.

Still echoing in my head after all these years the wuaya wuaya! wuaya wuaya! that Bart would scream out as the demo game strangled the life out of him in a virtual Groundhog’s Day marathon of pixelated torture. If I had the yarbles at the time to have shorted out the audio board, I would have.

Mistral — As a person currently finding myself living in Jersey, I can assure you the NBA will not be putting another team in this state as of this time. The Devils are moving to Newark next season and CAA is being converted to parking for teh Xanadu project at some point. I hate NBA basketball anyway, so good ridance to thee.
