Doho, you’re right.

If Pluto were a human, he’d need counseling. All of these years of acceptance followed by a resounding Fuck Pluto by the astronomy powers that be. I didn’t know you could fire a planet.

I care not for what a room full of astronomers say. Pluto will always be a planet to me. It resides safely as the nineth rock from the sun in my heart.

Pluto is the solar systems unwanted stepchild. :(

To paraphrase the dude on the Daily Show:
If Galactus or Unicron (or Omnipitus with his freaky small feet) can eat it, then it’s a planet.

And I know that Cybertron and all its’ moons belong to Darth Galvatron.

While Matt is down, let’s redecorate this joint!

Good work, JoPo! It was the funniest thing. I was on Wikipedia last night, just looking around, so I decided go see some of the Star Trek pages, and came across the page for “The Motion Picture”. Down under “Trivia”, it says that Star Trek:TMP is the first movie to be promoted as a Happy Meal. I did a quick eBay search, and sure enough, I found one of the original prizes up for auction. Just do a search on “1979 Star Trek Happy Meal” under All Categories on eBay and it comes right up.

Extraction of Wisdom teeth isn’t horribly bad. I had mine out, um, 4 or 5 years ago. 6 maybe. Anyway, I ate Cheese Soup for a week afterwards, mainly because I was paranoid about what kind of grievous wounds were back there.

I was right though. After the stiches were cut out, I had a flappy piece of gum in the upper-right quadrant. That lasted about a week too. Joy. But I had no pain, and all of my painkillers were put to better use :)

Ryane, I thought The Protector’s released date was pushed back to September 8th? Maybe it’s a limited release in your area, though. =\

I had a ST:TMP Happy Meal back then. The box folded out to become a game board where you and up to two other players race to V’ger. The toy was a plastic communicator with a filmstrip type of comic that you put together, then turned a knob to read the story. I had the one where Uhura traveled through time and space due to a transporter malfunction.

I had three wisdoms pulled at once. They were going to be problems fairly quickly, and I wanted the pain over with asap. now i is dumberer. hyuck!

You don’t owe us anything, Matt. You didn’t skip the day. You did post SOMETHING.

Last Album: “Private Dancer,” Tina Turner (and it was literally an album, too – I listened to the LP)
Last Book: Still working my way through “Watership Down” (about 2/3 done)
Last TV show: A couple of episodes of “Boy Meets World” with my teenage stepsister on ABC Family
Last Home Movie: “Head,” the Monkees movie from 1968 (very psychadelic and a little bitter, but SENSATIONAL music)
Last Theater Movie: “Mrs. Henderson Presents” (I never want to see Bob Hoskins naked again; other than that, fun movie if you’re into stage, musical, World War II, and/or British history)
Last Video Game: Played the original Super NES “Mario Party” and “Mario Kart” with the aforementioned teen sister Easter day.

Ghosted by starwenn @ 08/25/2006 8:30 PM EDT

Last album: I believe Millenium Hip Hop Party 2 was used to blast “Good Vibrations’ and drown out the screamo rock from Madden 2007.

Last book: Bill Parcells – My Last Season, LIE’S LIE’S! He must write one about my Cowboys!

Last TV Show: Boy Meets World at 2 and 2:30 every weekday.

Last movie at home: Slammed, a wrestling movie that has Cody from Step by Step, Brad from Home Improvement, Donna’s dad from That 70’s Show, DEBO/ZEUS and Jay Peterman from Seinfeld is clearly going to rock no matter how B-Movie it is.

Last movie in theatre: Clerks 2 and You Me and Dupree

Last video game: Madden 07 all day everyday. IT’S A DRUG!

Last tv show Probably good eats but I’m not sure, I don’t have tv I download episodes online though
Last movie at home V for Vendetta
Last movie at theatre Corpse Bride (too damned expensive, I don’t go that much obviously)
Video game played I don’t play video games much anymore, every once in a while I go online and I play a bunch of flash games, pong, breakout, this one shoplifting game someone made, just a bunch of simple ones until I get bored or frustrated on one, then I go onto something else.

Probably good eats but I’m not sure, I don’t have tv I download episodes online though

I had about 7 seasons of that downloaded at one point before finding out it was avialable (though in an odd fashion) on DVD which goes against my personal policy of what I allow myself to download.

My mentor, and personal savior, Adam Sessler demands I make a Naruto joke. But I personally believe that admiting you have a GameCube is embarassing enough. BELIEVE IT!

Goes for you too Colonel!

My videos are alphabetized and categorized into “Movies in clamshell/oversized covers,” “kids/family movies,” “comedy,” “musicals,” “drama/action/miscellaneous”, and “holiday.” Anything I or my friends taped myself (all the musicals I got off of Turner Classic Movies while in college, my “Perfect Strangers” and “Remember WENN” episodes, footage from Monkees concerts a friend sent me, old home movies and college projects) are alphabetized as best as possible in three 80s-era video holders I got from a thrift shop. The DVDs are arranged into “live-action movies,” “all animation (including Disney films and shorts, Looney Tunes, anime, Pink Panther, 80s TMNT)”, “TV sets,” and “holiday.”

The exceptions are the Monkees Seasons One and Two sets, which have awesome but rather impractical packaging made to look like 60s-era record players. Cool idea…but they don’t fit on the shelves. They’re on top of the DVD shelves.
