The Freddy Krueger Board Game!

I'd normally wait until Sunday night to put this up, but Sunday's shaping up to be incredibly busy and annoying, so let's do it early and call it a reason to celebrate. I've had this really odd A Nightmare on Elm Street board game sitting around forever, and I've finally gotten around reviewing it. I'm pretty happy with the article, if only because I had this total "oh shit" feeling before writing it, thinking I wouldn't have much to say. It turns out that I had enough to say; then again, if you scoured the review and removed "Freddy" and "Krueger" throughout, there'd only be four or five words left. But they'd be good words. Anyway, crap game, but fun to look at. Also comes with a bonus section about a Freddy Krueger figure. Crap figure, but fun to look at.

Making a note that will seem totally irrelevant a day after today, please feel free to continue playing with the SNT below if you're looking to talk about something other than Freddy Krueger.

haha I still have this game and still try to get my friends to play it with me to this day. My mom bought it for me (I was and still am a HUGE NOES fan) and her, me, and my brother played it that weekend. It was awful. I have not been able to play that game since then. I still love the fact that I still own it however.

I also bought that Freddy figure at a flea market for $5 about 2 years ago. I was overjoyed when I saw that piece of shit for sale.

THAT looks dumb, why did they make a child friendly boardgame based on a blood soaked R rated movie? And why are the characters on said board game look like something out of Fisher Price? This is just STUPID!!

about a week after you made this post, i found the game at a local flee market. With having read the review, and knowing how horrible the plot to the game is, i still had to buy it. been a fan of your site for a couple of years, and i send a link to any and all of my friends who are fond of 80′s nostalgia. Thanks for your time.

Just wanted to drop a line into the vast waters of your faboo actricle. I had no idea there exisited such a game, and now I do. I really had a cool time purusing said article. I really dig things like this. Some awesome, random piece of my pop culture past. It makes me warm inide. It truly does. The supposedly-squishy F.Kruger bit was very suave as well. FaBOOlous. Very cool. Looking forward to the next smile you bring.

Hi everyone,

I just bought the Nightmare on elmstreet board game (The freddy game). But because it was second-hand, it didn’t include instructions, they got lost somewhere. Does anyone have the instructions to this game, and is it possible to send or post them somewhere so I can download them?
Thanks in advance.
