Anybody have any random memories in their heads from childhood that they just can’t place? I’m not talking about weird uncles telling you, "It’s a secret" either, but lines from a tv show or commercial that creeps into you concious every now and then? A (poor) example would be "Lookie, lookie, I’ve got wookie." It’s poor because I know where it’s from. Some Star Wars toy commercial. I don’t know how or why, but it pops in my head now and then.

Anyone else?

On a side note…I really love the White Stripes so I was checking out The Raconteurs, and their video has Jack White in some cowboy shirt, the dudes from the Greenhornes looking quirky or whatever, and Brendan Benson wearing…a top hat?

Does that seem right to you?

Have you ever tried mixing a packet of strawberry koolaid with one of the Invisible Raspberry packets? I can’t gather the courage to try it, but since I read the review of Incrediberry, I have wanted to experience the raspberry/strawberry koolaid combo SOMEHOW. just wondering if in your koolaid ventures you have ever tried this possibly heavenly or possibly lethal mix.

I saw George Carlin do his stand-up in person last night. Pretty hilarious shit. It’s amazing to me that he’s still able to do what he does at the age of seventy. Unreal. Even more amazing is the fact that he claimed to be fifteen months sober at last night’s show. Not that there’s anything wrong with getting sober, but do you really need to bother when you’ve reached that age? Fuck it…enjoy the last few humiliating years of your life in a substance-induced haze.

Fine. You guys want frills? Then let’s take the power back. Impromptu survey. Does anyone else remember the first article you read at XE? For me, the party started with the http://www.x-entertainment.com/articles/0817/" target=none>Supergirl movie review way back in the summer of ’03. I don’t remember exactly how I found the site, but I was taking some classes in Oxford and the computer room was the only place in the house with air conditioning, and there was a God-awful heatwave going on. So I ended up reading every article archived on the front page while hiding from the heat. Good times.

I have hardwood flooring and my floors get dusty really fast, and I hate sliding stuff along a dustbunny riddled floor.
