This is the article that brought me to X-E in the first place… So if I come across it, I’ll reread it sometimes but this is the first time I’ve ever noticed that the McDonald’s pictured in the article sells MOZZARELLA sticks?!?

I never knew of cheese sticks at McD’s!!?!

I too have fallen prey to the quest for Shamrock Shakes. I am glad that someone else shares my frustration. I despise sitting through a long drive-thru line, waiting, wanting, and salivating for a Shamrock Shake just to hear the person (who sounds like they hate their job to begin with) to tell me “Our shake machine is down.” Grrrr. I end up making one myself sometimes with vanilla ice cream, green food coloring, and mint extract – not as magical, but pretty close.

I’m in the UK and went into McDonald on Saturday and Monday (at Waterloo station) equipped with a bottle peppermint flavoring and green food coloring. I was surprised at how much it looked like your picture.
I used vanilla milkshake as a base creating a vanilla mint flavour.
Would chocolate milkshake make a better base?

I am dying for a shammarock shake. I was on the phone with my sister who was going through the drive-thru ordering my 6 yr old nephew a Shammarock shake last night. I was suprised when none of my co-workers had heard of them when I was telling them about my craving for one the next day. My co-worker went to McDonalds to get us all a minty treat, and McDonalds does not sell or has any idea what you are talking about in Raleigh, NC. I am soooooo bummed. Who do we need to write to, to get the shammarock shakes back?

Poor guy. We have Shamrock Shakes EVERY year from the mid of Feb till the mid of April.

He don’t know what he missing. And toxic piss is sooooo goooood

I wasn’t even aware that they didn’t sell them everywhere. In Wisconsin you can get them at every McDonald’s, and they even start in February. It makes me incredibly sad that they don’t have them everywhere.

Haha, love the site and in particular I love this article. Imagine my surprise when picking up supper at McDonalds my sister exclaims, “Shamrock Shakes!” I don’t recall seeing any in the Wichita, Kansas area for years. Course I remember being a little kid and thinking that McDonalds had several different shakes. Don’t know how much was imagination or reality. Shake was pretty good though, I enjoyed it.
