It seemed to change when the Playstation came out, for whatever reason. There was rarely swearing on old NES/SNES games, it seemed like a big deal at the time....not so much now. Sega got pissed so they discontinued it or forced them to alter it or something. I don't remember all the details...I didn't get a Genesis until the almighty "Sonic the Hedgehog" came out, and this happened before that. My uncle left it installed on my grandma's computer when he went off to college, and since she didn't know how to uninstall it she banned us from using her computer altogether. It was tragic, since hers was the only computer for twenty miles in any direction.<br /> The first game I ever played that actually shocked me came a few years before, on my cousin's computer.
