Why is Matthew Lesko standing ten feet away?

Went to lunch with a friend today, and when I step outside, THERE HE WAS. None other than Matthew Lesko himself -- the original Riddler -- assaulting light-stopped cars with a cameraman in tow, evidently filming footage for a new infomercial. He looks way older than I remember, but THERE HE WAS, question mark suit and all. Don't know who I'm talking about? Yes you do. Click here. See?

Meanwhile, the Kool-Aid Section introduces Soarin' Strawberry Lemonade and the Cereal Prize Project clocks up to Group 005.

I just love LOVE the Kool Aid reviews. I wish I could remember the toys better. I remember the commercials, but we never had "sugar cereals" in the house… funny, Kool-Aid=Ok Smurfberries=evil?

You know, every single thing I’ve heard about Matthew Lesko leads me to believe he’s probably bi-polar (or whatever the politically correct term is that’s now in use). NOBODY is that hyper and happy all of the time.

Imagine Matthew Lesko coming home from "work" to grab a beer out of the fridge, clear a place on his couch, flop down and cry himself to sleep, spilling his beer all over the carpet. He thinks, "What’s one more stain? What’s one more stain?"

Oh man, now I’m sad :(

This thread got me thinking…

What happened if you combined Matthew Lesko with the guy from the Six Flags commercials (Mr. Six)???

Discuss…

Manic-Depressive is or was the other term for it.

What A Horrible Night for Matt Lesko to Have a Curse =(

Sorry Pedro, I figured there were more NYCers around X-E, but I definitely was looking for Matt’s thoughts on the subject on the possible Summer Games coming to New York.

So Matt, does that cryptic message mean you will be moving to a deluxe apartment in the sky in 2012? Or Vermont?

Oh Manimal, you suck. Add Batman Begins to my list of movies I will see when they come out on Beta…Shoot, I mean VCR…uh, I mean DVD. I’ll finally get to see Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith about the time New York gets the Olympics and Matt moves with all of his money to a sweet hi-rise on Martha’s Vineyard.

I think Lesko is full of shit. If he gets thousands of dollars from the government on a regular basis, why is he waering such a shitty suit?

Joking aside, I have always been curious as to just how much of his offerings are legit. It can’t ALL be bogus.

Matt,

Wow – what’s with the sudden appreciation for the Commodore 64?

It’s kind of off topic, but I am proud to announce that I am now the proud owner of a 26 inch tall Thing action figure. That’s right, I’m double proud. I’m pretty sure I’m one of the first people to get one too. They hadn’t even made room for them on the shelves yet.

Also, I hate to be a smart-ass, but Matt, I don’t think that the pound puppy thingy came out in 1095.

Yo MANIMAL- I just got offered a job as English teacher at my old hometown high school in Quebec! SO, the number of XE teachers has doubled(…or tripled or whatever- I don’t know who else is a teacher!)

Im so excited! I’m leaving Korea early to start this job! Goodbye gimbap, hello burgers! Goodbye old reruns of Friends with Korean subtitles, hello NORMAL TV! Goodbye waiting a month longer than the rest of the world to see a movie, hello spending too much $$ at the theater! :)

congrats, Muppet Baby! Good to hear to get to come home! That’s pretty damn cool you get to teach at your very own high school. I don’t think I’ve been back in my high school since I graduated.

Huzzah for Muppet Baby!
Just for that, I’ll go see "Batman Begins the Beguine" and tell you the movie scene for scene.

…moving to England at the beginnning of next month. Pip pip, and whatnot.

Beta-Theta: I remember Caveman Games. The only one worth playing was the Mate Toss. The other ones were just pointless button mashing.

…And Manic-Depressive disorder is nasty stuff. My mom has it. Some time ask me to tell you crazy mom stories – like about the time the penny she found on the street had a listening device in it!

I was reading FARK when I found the following on the subject of Leo DiCaprio:

I worked with that little shiat once. He’s still a farking arse, if you ask me.
/really did work with him.
//short lived "Parenthood" tv series.
///I’m not the former child actor you’re looking for.

Who posted this message? Former annoying cute kid, http://cgi.fark.com/cgi/fark/users.pl?login=Lazakesau">Zachary http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0492226/">La http://www.americanphoto.co.jp/photosearch/Previews/CIN01095_214.jpg">Voy.

Isn’t that the kid who RUINED THE PLAY?

I remember the http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0279557/">older brother from the movie more clearly since he went on to Hook and The Witches.

I might be one the few that watched both the TV versions of Parenthood and http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098795/">Ferris http://www.tvobscurities.com/shows/ferris.php">Bueller. It seemed to me at the time that NBC’s attempt with Ferris was trying to compete with http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098888/">Parker http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Alley/5870/parker.html">Lewis.

MUPPET BABY,
Congrats on joining the fold. Viva Quebec! The summers make it worth any hassle during the year. Do you know which particular subjects you will be teaching next year? I have gotten a quasi-promotion (?) in that I am just teaching U.S. next year. My only fear is that it may get boring teaching the same thing all day.

Chestnuts roasted by The Manimal @ 06/18/2005 2:20 PM

Congrats Muppet and Manimal too!

Congratulations Muppetbaby. The good times aren’t over! :)

Things I want:

I want to get my degree ASAP. Why you ask? So I can teach and stop being a house husband that doesn’t contribute financially.

I want to win the rest of our games. (www.giessen-dragons.de)

I want my son to make up his mind and come out of the womb so I can play with him. Anxiety is a mother!

I also want him to be healthy, but not good enough to kick his old man’s ass in sports…just not yet. Mmm kay?
I want a truck. How the hell does a 25 going on 26 year old from Texas not own a truck yet in his lifetime?

And…

I want to see freakin’ Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Semper Fi,
Erik Majorwitz

Hang on, Erik. It’s worth the wait, if not worth the anxiety of the anticipation. In the mean time, courtesy of YTMND, here’s:

Lesko Update. I saw him riding down the road on a scooter in Bethesda MD (right outside of Washington DC). How did I know it was him you ask? Brown suit … yellow question marks. Nuff said.
