My dying wish is for an owl/camel hybrid, which I call camowl.

C-3P0 reads X-E!

So, guess who read that article on C-3P0's Cereal?

C-3P0. No, really. I got an e-mail from the guy who runs Anthony Daniels' site, telling me how happy he was to see that another soul had a box of the stuff, and how reading the article opened the gates for plenty of memories from the commercial shoot. At first I wasn't too sure if the man himself read it, but hey, go check out his site. He did! Prittttty cool.

Well, that's two. I got to meet Harrison Ford under fairly intimate circumstances at the junket for K-19, but between my well-hidden awestruckityness and the fact that there were four other interviewers in the room, it didn't amount to much more than introductions and a couple of questions about a movie nobody went to see. And I had this really bad pinkish red hair thing going on, so I was all antsy. Still, I was sitting three feet from Han Solo -- like Greedo.

Admittedly, if there's anything worse than starfucking, it's starwarsfucking. But I am pretty humbled and so wanting to reuse my C-3P0 Play-Doh mold. Maybe me and Anthony can head down to PS-166 and shoot some hoops.

Just got done on a freelance project that required watching 20 hours of a television show that must remain nameless for now. I love the show, but combing through 20 hours of anything is a pretty damning project. I will now celebrate the big finish by atrophying for the few hours I have left before yet another glorious workweek. Rumors persist that I may get a full day off in 2012, but I'll probably waste that day writing a tribute to Hordak or something.

Congradulations on the high-profile e-mail, Matt. I’m glad even galaxies far, far away know this site…as well they should. ;) :D

Anthony Daniels has a rather bizarre sense of humor, which can be attested to from the columns he used to do for Star Wars Insider,so I’d think you two would get along very well Matt.

"And I had this really bad pinkish red hair thing going on, so I was all antsy." so awesome :D

That reminds me of my most favorite XE blog post, ever. It was when Matt went to Staples and got ultra nervous because people were getting really pumped about Crystal Pepsi. He mentions 3P0′s in that blog post, too. So it’s kinda relevant.

Don’t have anything to say but wanted to get an early post in there.
"A TV show that must remain nameless", huh? I’m intrigued….

I went to Target today and I found a rather interesting thing, Chocolate Lucky Charms. Is this new or did I miss something? I was intrigued, so I bought a box. Tomorrow I will find out if it’s a good Count Chocula knockoff. It’s already losing some points because the marshmallows aren’t chocolate, they’re the ordinary ones from regular Lucky Charms.

I hope the mystery TV show’s identity will be revealed before everyone forgets about it…

C-3PO… in the flesh? Or, would that be in the gold metallic suit? Whichever you choose… it’s remarkable not just that he had his very own ceral, and kids everywhere were eating it… but that he also reads X-E! In-freaking-sane.

Hmmm, what show has Matt been forced to watch. Something he likes, but not too much. Rocko’s Modern Life, maybe? It’s freelance, so maybe it’s not Nick-related. Family Guy?

Chestnuts roasted by trajeal @ 01/31/2005 12:42 PM

matt’s probably watching the o.c.

but then again, who can resist these days?

My Life in a nutshell

Sorry I haven¡¦t posted in awhile gang. I would have posted, but I didn¡¦t want to steal the baby thunder from Mr. and Mrs. Manimal and of course, sweet little E.C. Also, I was feeling depressed about hearing so many of my 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines brethren perish in that helicopter crash.

Well, since Manimal spilled the beans on his life story, here goes mine¡K

I came thundering into this world on 7 September 1979. Adopted, first round pick in the 1979 Draft. I¡¦m a free agent next year so I¡¦m looking to get the fat contract. Oh wait, I¡¦m married, nevermind. Moved from Houston to Bay City (read: bumpkin country) when my dad was forced to retire.

Signed up for the Marines in the summer of 1997, but my dad died of cancer in September, so I went to crap, going from 200 lbs to 240. Went into the Marines in 1998 to get my college education money, see the world, kill people, etc. Well, 2/3 ain¡¦t bad if you count going to Hawaii (worst place you can possibly be stationed), Korea (shout out Muppet Baby!) and Okinawa seeing the world. Okinawa is also great because that is where I stumbled upon WrestleCrap, Homestarunner, and this great website that is X-E. It¡¦s funny, I suggest X-E to everyone I meet, but by saying the full name of the site, most people give me a disgusted look like, ¡§how could you direct me to a porn site?¡¨

I went to the University of Houston for two years, the last as a Resident Assistant. My major was and still is Communications-Journalism, but at this point, I just want a degree. Labor Day 2003 I met Heather and fell in love at first site. Proposed to her on Christmas Day 2003. Married here on March 6 (more like eloped) and again on June 12th, which begs the question female X-E¡¦rs, what date do I eat the cake and what date do I get my beautiful wife a gift?

In May 2004, wife and I received a shock as we were headed to our wedding shower. She had been accepted to teach overseas to American military kids with DoDDs. She was a graduate of DoDDs and it just so happened she got accepted close to her old stomping grounds here in Germany.

Watching a Packers game on AFN on December 1, 2004 I was greeted by my wife and a EPT stick. I mean yes, this is technically my third child too, but I made this one from scratch while I inherited the other two in a corporate takeover.

So now I¡¦m just a regular house husband, taking care of the little one until the other little one arrives. In my spare time (when I¡¦m not yelling at them to clean their room), I attend online courses with University of Maryland (hope to graduate in 2006, perhaps teach history at a local high school and coach football) and I play football (quarterback) for the Giessen Golden Dragons, an American Football Club team here.

If anyone has great ways to train newborns in the ways of the 80¡¦s please let me know. ƒº
So that¡¦s me in a nutshell X-E family. Feel free to steal my identity if you like, but let me tell ya, I¡¦m broke. Have fun.

Special Thanks goes to:
Matt (First and foremost, for having this site and having a blog for ordinary people to blather on about)
Trajeal (My dear, your wonderful links keep me entertained and enlightened for hours. Also, your advice for raising kids is taken to heart, its just so hard to train them)
Muppet Baby (For making me miss Korea, I mean there are some good things there right?)
Manimal (For sharing the wonderful moments of your first born with us. My wife loved the photo, but she thought you named your daughter after a pastry. I think you can forgive her, I mean she is pregnant, hormones ya know?)

Semper Fidelis,
Erik Majorwitz

Rocko and Family Guy are good, so no, it couldn’t be either of those…

HEY YOU! That’s right, you, Matt-blog-visitor….do you want to help someone out who really needs input? Then click my name and check out my concept for a nationally syndicated comic strip! Then give me feedback. This is important to me, so please?

Chestnuts roasted by Mars @ 01/31/2005 1:54 AM

Wow that is amazing. Beyond cool. AD’s column was always the greatest part of Star Wars Insider. I love the fact that it’s really him inside the suit for the commercial. Rereading the 3P0′s article I’m seeing a couple of pics that didn’t show up for me last time (go figure) and methinks I see the second pair of uncensored nips in X-E history.

ooooooooo…Secret TV shows! I hope there’s one about ninjas that you can hire to do your laundry.

Matt- Holy shit, dude- I didn’t know you were once Greedo to Han himself! And this is SO GREAT that C3P0′s peeps recognize the love you have for that cereal. I am so jealous of your Star Wars connections! SO jealous…I wish I were so connected to that magical world far, far away. :(

EMajorwitz- I knew you were once in Itaewon! I just knew it! Yeah, Korea is not all bad- I ate some great mandu tonight, and I always love a good night of soju and bulgoggi! (any liqour that is 2 DOLLARS A BOTTLE AT 20% ALCOHOL is fine by me). I will miss Korea when i leave, so I guess you probably miss it, too- how long were you here?

Chestnuts roasted by Muppet Baby @ 01/31/2005 8:09 AM

There should be a secret TV show called TGHBTMNT Teletubies Get Hung By The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I would actually watch that

HOLY CRAP MATT!!! C3-P0 himself loves your tribute!! So much he has it quoted 2 times on his site. Truley a Star Wars dream come true! I was once asked by one of the X-Wing pilots if the picture i took of me and him could appear on his site, but alas…it never made it on…also Ray Park loved a pic i took i took of him so much he asked me for the negative so he could possibly make his own 8 by 10s from them…only to say nahhh dont worry its "my private memory" of him…crap…no luck. But to have THE GOLDEN GOD love your article???!!! The force is truly with you…………… Oh man i saw some really hot episode 3 pics online the other day(by hot i mean spoleriffic!!!!!!!)….I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!
