10/31/2004: Yeti Puzzles & More Halloween Art!

Well, Halloween is finally here — hope everyone’s having a good one. Sucks that it fell on a Sunday this year, but that’s better than a Tuesday. They’ll be a wrapup Countdown entry a bit later, but for hte 30th, here’s what happens when a Yeti tries to solve the Lament Configuration, better known as that kickass evil box from the Hellraiser flicks.

Oh my goodness. Yeti vs. Lament Configuration? Fantastic. That may be the most hilarious thing I have seen in a long time. And I’m really not sure why. I mean, it’s a Yeti. And a Lament Configuration box. Both are terrifying on their own, but combined they become an awesome comedy duo.

Seriously though, that was great. I hope we haven’t seen the last of the Yeti. Happy Halloween.

I’m a sucker for action figure features, and the Yeti one has made me happy like nothing has since Spider-Man finished those crayons.

Wow. I never imagined you could get such expression from an action figure. I’m impressed, the hand poses- looks like he’s delivering lines from Hamlet.
From Kenneth’s entry I recognize Strawberry Shortcake and Hooded Cobra Commander, but who is the other fella on the couch? And Paul B., yeah, better than some things I’ve seen on the wall at the museum heh heh.
Also, Matt, I added a comment to the Atari article late, so you likely missed it, so I repeat my suggestion here- review the movie Rad. See earlier post for compelling info in regards

D’oh! Forgot from earlier- Happy Halloween Matt! And my regards to all the other x-ers from a fellow reader in Georgia ( I say this ’cause I know Matt thinks his reader base is mostly in the northerly regions - it ain’t so!)

Shout-out to the Cryptozoo! Man, I miss the Cryptozoo. I think I’ll go read an old Jersey Devil article to make myself happy.

I too was destroyed by being shunned from the Webelo’s…but I was rescued from certain death by the apperance of Madd Matt…wait, what’s that you say? oh, er…ack.

Sorry mine wasn’t as wunderbar and creative as anyone else, but I do get points as I was hastily procrastinating while learning for a C#.net practical exam by drawing pumpkins and goldfish. Snide remarks are simply hurtful, Matt…

I think I may have passed the exam, but I spent 10 whole minutes sending you a giant bitmap while I could have been staring uncomprehendingly at inimical lines of code… Not that it helped, btw.

ahh beautiful, my picture has proven worthy for the countdown. and as for the sixty five thousand dollar art program, it may not look it but i actually used paint

I know you’re a gentile, but maybe this year, you can do a chanukah countdown. Just a suggestion

These are so inspired!!! I love them!!!! Great graphics, people. Better than what I can through together.
