I put out a call to all X-E Fans- We need to plan a X-E-Con! We need to all get together late Novemberish r maybe on Slimermass) somewhere in the NY/NJ area and finally meet Matt, drink ecto cooler, eat Nana ghost and wax nostalgic on 80’s staff.
We can also gang up on matt, tie him to a chair and force him to review Mac and Me.

Sixth! I’m on a roll! Sort of. Keep up the good work Matt. By the way, has anyone seen a movie starring George Wendt and a bunch of other people I’ve never heard of, called Alien Avengers or something like that?
Hey, if they’re looking to get rid of one of those Bo shirts, put me down for one. Preferably the one where Wayne Gretzky just shakes his head & says "…No."
Ghost #2 giving Ghost #1 a Bo shirt to dry his tears with made me crack up.

If this comic was converted into an animated short, it would be my new Halloween classic! LOL
Keep the countdown rollin’ Matt!

I loved this one. Much better than the Emeril one, imo. I guess I just don’t get anything about that damn chef.

Matt - you mentioned yesterday that there was a family emergency. I hope everything is OK.
"Bo knows" cracked me up. Not too long ago, I was sitting and watching baseball with my sister & husband and we got to talking about that ad campaign and how it finally faded.
"Whatever happened to Bo, anyway?" asked my sister.
"Maybe Bo knew..too much," was my husband’s reply. Made me giggle.

I don’t know why but i think you should a review of the crypt keeper. he was always good for a cheap laugh. For some reason in the opening for Tales From the Crypt when he popped out of his coffin I would just piss my pants laughing kinda like he does every single time i saw it.

Maybe the arrival of the shirts WAS the family emergency.
Hope it’s nothing more than that, Matt.

As a Third Grade teacher (molder of young minds, minion of THE MAN, etc.), I feel inspired to utilize Matt’s comic to illustrate to my students the all-important character traits of friendship, perserverance, and thriftiness. One less lesson plan I have to write- Thanks, Matt!

Aww, I love a happy ending.

That one ghost’s teeth defy logic.
Wait, ghosts don’t HAVE teeth…
THE PLOT THICKENS!

I get the feeling that this tale is based on something that happened to Matt in real life - Probably happens on a regular basis too I bet, eh Matt ?

I’m so glad this posted on the weekend so I could laugh out loud without drawing the attention of any co-workers. Truly inspired. I love it.

Matt, in response to your article… damn you. Your comics own.
Not QUITE as good as the Emerill/Dracula one, but you get major points for mentioning that whole "Bo Knows" slogan.

Oh yeah, did anyone catch the Growing Pains movie last night?? Carol had a baby….uh….yay?

Another movie I remember seeing is one where there’s this family and they’re really all bugs. I saw it on the Sci-Fi channel a while back. Anyone know anything about this movie?
I think that movie was called Meet the Applegates. I’d look it up on imdb, but I don’t have the internet.

The Growing Pains movie rocked!! I think they should put the series back on the air. All of their careers need a jumpstart, as well as ABC. It would make a lot of people tune in, I hope the ratings were good enough.
I think this movie was better than the first one that came out in 2000, where Maggie ran for Congress. I liked how Chrissy and her ratty boyfriend got busy in the RV, and then went to the bar to play pool.
Was the house the same? I saw an exterior shot which was obviously the same, but the camera never showed quite enough of the house at one time for me to determine if it was the same set. Anyone else have the same problem?

Your comics kind of remind me of Teen Girl Squad.

Coincidentally enough, while driving tonight with my boyfriend, I happened to notice a black sports car in the lane next to us with the license plate "BOW KNOWS". Sure, not exactly the same, but creepy, eh?

Click on my name for a chia tribute, but I can’t really go much further due to lack of action-figures. You can only murder Barbie so many times…
Love the cartoon, Matt. Boo knows! (I have no clue what "Bo knows" was all about, but have inkling it is american ad campaign of some sort.) But I can see that it has some bearing on reality… [Dammit!!! 200 Congo gorillas! Not again, we've got no cupboard space! Where am I s'posed to put my SHOES??!]
Dude, I’m not gonna’ front. That is the GAYEST cartoon I’ve ever seen on this site. NO SOUP FOR YOU!

Kaynyne @ 10/20/2004 2:05 PM EDT
#1: There’s been plenty GAYER on the site.
#2: "NO SOUP FOR YOU" is much more GAYEST than Boo Knows.
