Return of the Jedi Art Contest! :o

Okay, here's the deal. Give me something to look forward to after another long bus ride home tomorrow. Time for a one day art contest. Starring Squid Head and Boba Fett.

I've got this old Return of the Jedi coloring book, featuring pretty nice artwork as far as coloring books go. Yehmm. So here's what you do: Click here for a full-sized scan of the page shown at right, and spend the next almost-a-full-day dolling it up in any way you see fit. Color it, fuck with it, add word balloons, paste stupid pictures into it, whatever. Send in your work of art by 8 PM tomorrow. (alternate e-mail if it bounces: click here) All entries that don't make me feel embarrassed for you will be posted later that evening, and one lucky grand prize winner will win a small box of assorted crap sitting on the smoke-ridden shelves behind me. Remember, you gotta have 'em in by 8 PM. If I get it at 8:01, DELETED, even if it was a masterpiece. A masterpiece with Squid Head as the canvas. Get to work.

AAAARRRRG you got my hopes up… I thought you’d win an action figure of that blue guy playing the piano-dealy as the prise. HE IS BY FAR THE COOOOOOLEST GUY IN ALL THE STAR WARS MOVIES. But alas it was only the cover of the colouring book… and yes colouring is spelt colouring you american pigs.

My fave character is the guy in the mos eisley bar who has a babboon ass for a face. no wonder he didn’t like anyone, he was probably relentlessly made fun of his whole life until he met his partner in crime the dude with the wierd pig nose and fucked up face. also i was wondering why the werewolf looking dude was removed for the bar scene in the special edition and replaced with a frog taking a toke off a hookah. any answers out there??

Oh no.

I have only blue, black, and red pens, a pencil, an orange highlighter, a red and a green felt tip, and a big black marker that smells like licorice.

I lack the artistic MacGuyvery to create anything worthwhile out of that.

make sure you submit it as something other than a .bmp file. Do it as a JPEG or GIF, those are smaller and should send fine.
