Wow, I never thought of it that way. Having seen the stuff doled out in the 90s, & being unfamiliar with the concept of corporate brainwashing back then, I associated the toy-line more with the dummies than the PSAs. I did see some of them however, like Vince getting his head crushed in the hydraulic press to show what happens to your head if you don’t wear a safety belt, Larry slapshotting a hockey puck into Vince’s face, & then doing some sort of excersize with the seatbelts before they’re rushed into a wall before they even have a chance to put them on. However, your article’s a real eye-opener. I think I’ll look up some of those old PSAs on Youtube.

God I loved those crash test dummies, one of my favorite figures. Also I remember I lost a leg off one of them which made me so sad that I rang the distributors to see if they had any spare – They sent me one free of charge, now thats customer care.
