this is probably the dubmest best day thats gonna be posted but the best day of my life was a month ago when I figured out that I wanna be a history teacher. When your in college and you finally figure out what you wanna shoot for it actually puts some kinda meaning in your life and for me that was just huge. I wish I coulda said somethin weird or funny so my post might be more entertaining but then I’d just be lying.

The Wierdest thing… it was like 5 years ago today, and I remember it because all these tornados hit Oklahoma City, and I was in Nebraska.

Anyway, I ended up making out with this girl who was engaged to be married– she had only kissed 1 guy in her life–her fiance’ and as stuff like that went, he’d only touched her boobs outside her shirt.

Well– we didn’t stop there with me, no sir! She wanted to make out with someone else so that she’d have meaning to her life, and so that she wouldn’t go to her grave only having kissed 1 guy.

Well–to her her credit, she didn’t want to do it after she was married, and this was about a month before, and boy–what a great time!

We did everything… Upside Down, Right side up, with food, with blindfolds, etc. Everything–except that I didn’t go all the way to home plate with her… I told her that if she had waited this long, her husband deserved to have her first. But man– I saw, touched, and tasted EVERYTHING. We got together about 5 more times before the wedding. I’ve never seen her since, but whoo! She was hot and ready to try anything!

She eventually sent me an invitation, but I didn’t feel right going so I sent her a camera and some film (no, not of us!).

I don’t know if that was the best day of my life, but it was the first that came up in my mind.

A few to choose from.
I think it would be either when I flew to NY and met Chris Kattan and Conan O’brien!
Or
When David Bowie’s guitarist gave me his guitar pick.

Of course, re-discovering the show Sliders in 2004 is high up there too!

Wow, T.R.O.L.D.D., nice to know there was more than one set of twisters going on that day. Did she send you pics of the honeymoon?

Sean-It would’ve been even more hilarious had you passed a quarter, the very quarter that you happened to pop into the Dig Dug machine. Of course, you could’ve been implying that you used the silver dollar to buy the Dill Bar, which is also quite funny. Thanks a lot, Sean. Now you’ve put crazy ideas into my head.

Dammit Matt! When is a new article coming! Please tell me you’re busy working on the exciting conclusion of Cobra Chia Plot!

man…a couple people have mentioned removing drugs from theirs, or their loved ones lives…I gotta say I’m jonseing for a new article, I don’t care at this point if it’s chiaplot (if it isn’t it’d be one of my favorite things ever, kinda like the song of the cebu’)

Ghosted by brandon @ 05/04/2004 9:08 AM EDT

You mean a song about a boy and his 3 cebu? A sick cebu, a sad cebu, and a mute cebu?

Ghosted by Matt @ 05/04/2004 5:23 PM EDT

Wow! I just went and re-read that… King Klash, I didn’t know you were from Oklahoma. That tornado totally destroyed that little town just on the south side of it. Sad, man.

Separately, I haven’t heard from the gal I spent those 6 days with, but my buddy is cousins with the guy she married. One night he and I got drunk in San Diego and I ended up telling him all about it… bad move, believe me. I had no idea they were related at the time.

Still–maybe I am getting my comeuppance now b/c my girlfriend of 18 months just told me 2 things on Sunday–nearly making Sunday night the WORST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. 1) She’s been seeing another guy behind my back.
2) She’s 2 weeks late on her cycle (no, not unicycle! The other one!)

Wierd. I’m not quite sure what to do, and I honestly don’t know who to turn to. God, are you there? Its me, Margaret (only, I substitute my name for Margaret’s).

Wierd. Hmmmm… Wistful in Wichita, do you remember the Tornado’s 5 years ago?

Ghosted by The Return of Long Duck Dong @ 05/04/2004 5:33 PM EDT

Damn, that’s major shit! I’d be losing my shit!

If you look on a map, and check the path of the supercell, my little burg of Anadarko got skirted pretty close. In fact, I saw one of the twisters as my sister and her family, with me in tow, were in the town of Apache on our way to Lawton. From our angle, with the sun at our backs, and ’cause tornados drop from the edge of storms, it looked like a steam plume with attitude. Had some good stories to tell Ma at the hospital. But the OKC radar images on the news made the cell look like The Paisley From Outer Space. As for your female trouble, as I said before, this is a Quantum Universe, on some paralell Earth, she’s dancing naked in the town square with your head on a stick. That’s why you’re supossed to try to lead a decent life, somewhen else, you are the most evil you could possibly be. And riding a unicycle.

Peter Engel ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0257137/ ) came to me in a dream and cursed me out for not mentioning his aptly titled show with USA Network called "USA High" ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118500/ ).
Jeez, USA still has a page up for the 1997 show:
http://www.usanetwork.com/series/usahigh/usahigh.html

Despite Peter Engel’s foul language, I will not admit to mainly watching the show, along with "That’s My Bush!" and sometimes "She Spies," for Kristen Miller. No, I will not do that.

Matt- You said the same thing about updates to your first X-Mas countdown. Oh yeah, and then there was the situation with the last two articles, in which you apoligised for the lack of vids in the Potato Head Kids one, promised vid clips for the next time, and did not fulfill that promise. Really. You said it in the blog for the potato people article. Were you lying!?!

j/k, Matt. I’ll bet its tough being a webmaster. So why is it that I want to become one? Oh yeah, because I have things that I feel passionately about too.

Ghosted by Nate @ 05/04/2004 8:34 PM EDT

Matt- Have you ever read any Jhonen Vasquez comics? I got the Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Squee collections, and they’re some of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. There’s something noteworthy in one issue, though, that I took the liberty to scan:

http://www.dkvine.com/webmasters/behonkiss/nukie2.jpg

Jhonen knows his stupid stuff, doesn’t he?

Ghosted by Behonkiss @ 05/04/2004 8:37 PM EDT

Behonkiss-Sweet stuff. Yeah, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac typically appeals to people of our sort, so it doesn’t surprise me that a Nukie 2 poster has shown up in Johnny’s room.

Personally, I only read it every now and then, but it’s good stuff, and I am definitely the sort of person who’s into obscurities.

Vasquez’s name has reminded me of my comic book collecting days. Matt, if you ever decide to do an X-E book consider Greg Hyland for illustrations. He created the comic book parody "Lethargic Lad" and was an animator on the "Beetlejuice" animated series. http://www.lethargiclad.com

Today could very well be one of the worst days of my life as my Toronto Maple Leafs have once again been eliminated from the playoffs. Not that anyone here watches hockey, I’m sure.

Only a review of a little known McDonald’s ad/ET ripoff of a movie could draw me out of my doldrums and feelings of…ah fuck it, just review "Mac and Me"

The day my braces finally came off… And my teeth are still not straight!!! Dammit. After two goes. I shoulda sued.

Matt promised to finish the Thundercats first episode parody, and he still hasn’t! So that’s another broken promise! And I’m not afraid of hats! Hatpins yes, hats no. Hats are fun, fun, fun.

Ghosted by eminentfreak @ 05/06/2004 12:03 PM EDT

LOL obie-1 kin-o-klash!!! Rescue the seeds of the chiapet! Its a quest! Who will save them? No, not Frack…

Btw Jackie Crow, I also got a little kitty cat, most wonderful year of my life until a bastard ran over her and left her to die alone in the road. If I found him I’d really want to shoot him in the head for murdering my little Sootica… Little babycat that I miss so much *sobs*. Nothing I can do can bring her back though.

Oh well. I suppose now is when I menace Matt with a pretty paisley coloured straw hat… with flowers and a stuffed frog on it. See how you like it, MWA HA HAAAA!!!

Wow I’d never noticed that "Nukie 2" poster, great catch Behonkiss. I <3 love <3 Jhonen Vasquez (as if the handle didn’t give it away). The Beetlejuice cartoon is one of my all time favs too, and definitely deserving of the X-E treatment.

I don’t think anybody has mentioned it here, but all you Invader Zim fans know that there’s a Zim DVD coming out on Tuesday, right?
